Phew.. took some time to read this thread through 
Haven't had much time to visit forums lately as things are moving at pretty crazy speeds here at Bitfury, but rest assured I'll do all I can to support community miners such as the pod and the compac also in the future.

Great to see progress here. I hadn't checked this in some time. I'm most happy to be wrong about punin. Like I said a man only as good as his word. Maybe me calling him out on twitter helped to move things along. Of course he blocked me right after. I don't know why. Truth must be hard for him to handle. Anyway. Matt have you had any luck with those psu's I ordered. Like I said no hurry just wanted to see what you had in mind on timeline. Thanks for the continued support of the community. I understand it will cost more but having a community is worth it. Not everything that is good in this world can be profitable.

I don't have any answers to those questions, because I have not yet received answers to those questions. I'm encouraged because Punin came to me at the end of August to say he was shipping me samples and how many did I want, which is pretty great because I hadn't tried to chase him down in a couple months. He's given ballpark estimates for chip pricing but it' just ballpark because he said they were still lining out how they were gonna do sales and distribution and whatnot. They've already been more cooperative than anyone I've dealt with in the last 16 months, and he's done really good in the past with their 55nm chips, so I'm banking pretty heavily on this deal working out.
As far as Bitfury goes, I'm not really sure what (from the little I know) I'm officially authorised to say or not. Pretty much all I will say is they got me samples and datasheets and I'm already started working on new stuff. I figure that PR can't possibly hurt them within the community, because it's about the first real effort any major manufacturer has done proactively to help the community in about a year.

Don't understand what you're talking about Kilo. I have repeatedly requested a BTC address from you. If you want chips instead, I can arrange than now as well. But without input from your side it's impossible for me to settle the bet.

As of 2 days ago no ASICS have been dispursed to any manufacturers. By the way Punin, I think I would rather have the 1 BTC at this point.

First of all the bet was personal. Second, I asked kilo17 for a BTC address for settlement, and I'm still waiting for him to provide me that address. He later on wrote in another thread that he was hoping to get chips instead.
I'm unable to send him chips, so I can't do much but wait for him to provide an address, or for him to wait until I can send some sample chips to him.
There has been a lot of speculation in this thread and I could say notfuzzy has done his homework well

That is correct. We have just a handful of chips right now and all are used for R&D and profiling including occasional rapid unscheduled disassembly as we look for the limits of the chip
. We are expecting the engineering lots in a few weeks time. Luckily our schedule was not affected by the recent Taiwan earthquake. Our total hash power has increased due to our Gldani immersion cooling datacenter getting to full capacity.

I would think not having the engineering samples "for a few weeks" that an end of March product release for home miners is an aggressive (and likely impossible) task. Having said that, I think if you haven't ran a full batch of chips then you are expecting everything to go without a hitch with Batch 1 chips. I think that is also a very ambitious expectation for a new 16nm chip.
I am going to go out on a limb and say end of April or beginning of May is a better bet.

We are indeed working with Joby, but will not disclose any commercial details.
His statements are not 100% correct factually as we have not delivered production chips or containers to clients yet and we are working with several clients and integrators.
I think Joby was trying to say they are growing very fast and their need for silicon can overwhelm us if it continues to grow as much as it has so far, but I don't think this (Bitcoin) business is large enough to cause capacity issues at TSMC just yet

I know and have met with the people behind this project personally and they have lot of experience working with BitfFury hardware. I have strong reason to believe they will deliver what they promise.
Will be waiting to see if they will indeed sell chips to Sidehack. That's the game changer.

The difficulty has risen a quite a lot recently and is predicted to rise 21% in the next few days. I suspect some high performance miners have already been used.
Definately not using our chip. I would expect miners with our chip by end of march or early april.

Did you look at the schematics we just posted? 2 pins for data (SCK&SDATA) and all the rest for power.Will you actually dare to disclose what the PARITY pin does and what is the function of the two associated LEDs?
Actually you're wrong. The 28nm chip has VCC, GND and two I/O pins as you can clearly see from images like the 1block_short.jpg for example. The 250nm is another story. It's a comm chip with 3 dedicated lines for each 28nm chip, reference voltage, clock and data + bunch of other stuff. Calling bullshit when you didn't even comprehend the question that I answered is a bit harsh.

Please let us know who was the integrator that used our chips and delivered late? What website did you purchase from?

It's our 28nm, but as we didn't sell any out we don't even have a data sheet OR it is all a load of crap and nothing can really be trusted. I think everyone knows by now that it is quite a rare thing to have anyone give the information straight, without a twist or flat out lie to help further their own agenda.
