I have been mining the BTC Pool for 36 days now and to be honest, I am disappointed because despite contracts, the network doesn't solve enough blocks to get payouts. An example is this: In the last 2 weeks, there has been one solved block for one payout. Since I began 36 days ago, there has been a total of 13 payouts. While I do know this is beta, it does not seem to me that the contract is worth it. Now, I will tell you that they guarantee a refund on hashrate they missed, but that does little good if the network delivers on hashrate but cannot solve blocks. I am on pace to make $8.80 on a contract that cost $59.00.
You can mine external pools with more hashrate.
ive always gotten errors when doing the external pool set up through mintsy.
Then it is better to stick with our current connection and make a wireless network using nano station which can give us a 10 km distance and that is enough to connect between our current location and the new connection (The distance is about 5 km).
Do you think wireless connection can put more than 10 ms on our current ping?
yes
especially considering that distance. much more than +10ms
can you tell or point me to what the pay is per TH on your pool and any fees?
its more of a rental site you can set it as p=.01xxx whatever the value will be the price per TH/per day if it doesnt reach your threshhold you simply wont mine there and when it does you'll come back

lol they deleted my .056 balance without paying definitely not ever coming back here again
Don't just assume they stole your coins. They said on IRC that there was some kind of problem with the system and that the missing balances should be back in the backlog. If you have a problem contact support, I'm sure they are happy to help you.
don't just assume? im glad someone sits on IRC all day just to see that

cheapest price per gigahash miner will probably be an antminer s1. They produce about $24/month of btc right now. If electricity cost isn't a concern and you want to try out mining that's a great unit to start with. If you try it and like mining, then I'd switch to something more powerful after playing around with that for a few months. If your electricity is free then buying the less efficient miners for really cheap will give you the quickest pay back.
In your scenario, I'd get a used antminer s1 to get my feet wet. Then I'd use the earnings to add an antminer S3 in 2 months. Then I'd use the combined earnings to switch out the S1 with an antminer S5 in 4 or 5 months. Using this methodology you'll be earning about ~$150/month in btc within the next 5 months assuming a 2% rise with each difficulty adjustment and no change in the value of btc. This methodology leaves you with an initial cash outlay ~$50 and would be your lowest risk entry scenario into bitcoin mining.
Alternatively if you want to risk more capital on the mining venture,
spondoolies ~$3500 unit gets you ~2.0btc per month at the current difficulty (loudness may be a concern to you)
spondoolies ~$700 unit gets you ~0.54btc per month at the current difficulty (loudness may be a concern to you)
antminers ~$420 unit gets you ~0.42btc per month at the current difficulty
loudness x 100000 thats the only problem i have now with my free elec mining set up

customs still does random inspects on packages so i wouldn't risk it and just deal with paying taxes
I got a free upgrade and got the 4s for free with verizon. I used it for 2 months but just received the new Iphone6 plus as a gift for christmas
Is the Iphone 4s worth selling? someone said I could get like 30$ from those trade in sites but was wondering from someone who deals in phones if this is worth trying to sell to an individual. Phone works perfect and has a case no scratches. Even the head phones are still wrapped and brand new
any imput would help
thx
That's BS. You can get way more than 30 bucks for your iPhone 4S. I'm sure $100 atleast, if its in perfect condition.
$100 is about accurate for a 4s in perfect condition
honestly if youre not going to use it might as well sell it
Sorry I have not made it into the store yet. I may have jumped the gun in starting this thread, but I will make it there and update the thread with pics of what they have. And I will update on the status of thermoball jackets. Also, the best way for me to look is if I have something to go by, so if you have a particular style in mind post a link or pic that I can go by.
yeah that would be a pretty good idea taking photos of store inventory
