Re: What Altcoins to pump in 2018
by

NEO  recently started to gain more attention from investors. Its price more than doubled since the beginning of December. In January, the team will further distribute the network, guaranteeing no single group of node operators can control the network. It will also have a number of ICOs launching on its platform in the months to come, which will further strengthen the network’s position.

Initial coin offerings offer vast opportunities to buyers. They can take part in the token sale and be a part of the blockchain ecosystem. However, there are a number of scams happening worldwide and one should be aware of the same.

You can analyze whether a project is a scam or not in the following ways:

• Anonymous ICO Developers

• The purpose of Token Sale is not clear.

• The Whitepaper has Impractical Goals

Re: Why ETH 460$ on yesterday?

You need to understand that the price of Ether is only dropping only because the sell volume is bigger than the buying volume. The price usually goes with the trend, it can go up or it can go down regards of the news. - I saw that it usually takes up to 3–5 days for bad news or good news to influence the market.

A lot of factors contributed to the rise of Bitcoin. And China undoubtedly has a important part in the play. The problems with the Chinese currency, has led to many people in China to prefer BTC. And many retail outlets in China began accepting BTC, and there has been an overall increase in the popularity in BTC in China.

Re: Is Ethereum best for investment?
by

It’s impossible to answer without knowing what your financial situation is and what your investment objectives are. I can only give you some general guidelines.

You should invest in Ethereum if the following apply to you:

Risk tolerant
Patient and level-headed
Do not need the money for at least 2–3 years
Looking for high upside
Only invest money you can afford to lose
If you are unable to handle the emotional swings from such large price movements then investing in Ethereum is probably not for you. If you are the type to panic sell when a drop like that happens then it is definitely not for you

Re: Is a million dollars possible?

Certainly not by investing in Bitcoin or any other well established currency. Even in the wildest fantasies of Bitcoin enthusiasts, there’s simply not enough money in the world for Bitcoins to be worth a thousand times what they are now.You could try going all in on some incredibly obscure cryptocurrency. If you got very lucky you could get 1000x returns, but it’s much, much more likely you’d lose everything.

i think Ripple because : Transaction cost is minimal and also transaction time is less. American Express’s, MoneyGram and other big names adoption of Ripple has enabled its users to make instant blockchain based payments.

Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?

When we talk about the easiest way to earn token probably its airdrop because you only need is fill up and wait for the free coin. But for me this is not worth it because you will earn only small amount of token. And most of airdrop are scam. Thats why most of us here choose bounty program.

Re: Why should people use Bitcoin?
by
puugiako0811

because in some parts of the world, bitcoin is still a more efficient and cheaper way to transfer money across borders and many individuals feel more comfortable holding a part of their wealth in securely-stored bitcoin, where a central authority cannot block access or take a cut

No, cryptocurrency in general is an active and growing market. Its not too late to invest. There are new forms of cyrptocurrency emerging, each claiming to be the next Bitcoin. Bitcoin itself, Ethereum is a name I've been hearing about a lot lately. I'd consider it the runner up to Bitcoin. While I've heard of others here and there, only those 2 have gained considerable traction.

Cryptocurrencies are very interesting, its a new revolution where we are experiencing transfer of wealth through digital assets. It looks like the future since we dont have to carry money around and it gives back the people the freedom to choose what to do with their money instead of being controlled by banks.

Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder?
by
puugiako0811

My biggest fear right now is a potential crash or investors rushing out to convert their bitcoin to US dollars like what happened in December 2013 when Bitcoin first hit $1,000. I hope this time it is different though.

Re: 2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ?
by
puugiako0811

For sure, Cryptocurrency is still in its infancy and will keep moving more and more mainstream as more vendors accept it. Cryptocurrency isn’t going away anytime soon. Never invest anything you can’t afford to lose outright, 100%. Your choice of project and market conditions may cause a coin to become worthless in the future, so choose something you believe in.

Re: What is the difference between Altcoin and Bitcoin?
by
puugiako0811
on 25/02/2018, 11:02:36 UTC
Bitcoin = BTC
AltCoin = Everything Else.
Bitcoin is the original decentralized cryptocurrency, Bitcoins are pioneers. The code and concept of bitcoins was created first.and  ultimate responsible for the invention of blockchain technology.
Altcoin are generally defined as everything else. although some might not refer to Ethereum as an Altcoin. But certainly the 1500 other coins out there are considered alts.
