Re: Why new projects/ coins do not have ANN on bitcointalk ?
There was a time when every crypto project had their ANN on bitcointalk. But recently times have changed. I see majority of new projects listed on coinmarketcap but they do not their ANN listed here.
Most of the projects are happy have their community on facebook, twitter, telegram but ignore this platform. What could be the reason for this ?
This is perhaps due to strict rules here and banning of accounts, even there are no quality bounty campaigns with good budget list here anymore, with wrong policies and censored and controlled environment the largest crypto forum is perhaps losing as its policies are at a 360 angle when it comes to decentralized and free concept of crypto, bitter truth.Most of the projects are happy have their community on facebook, twitter, telegram but ignore this platform. I am sure Ethereum will come back stronger as experts are expecting a new leg up to high range of 2500 to 3000. Especially considering the launch of new eth improvement program to be activated in july that will scale eth network 100x according to Vitalik Buterin, secondly each transaction will burn part of supply so both these things make me super bullish about eth for mid range.Few old projects have made the ATH, like enj, doge, bnb, eth but most of the old projects are still far away from the ATH. Can we call the current situation bullrun for altcoin? I think no. Most of the times, it’s the affect of bitcoin rise.
So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? Or no more such things happening at all?
You are just being impatient and that is understandable, most of altcoin holders including me are just waiting on the sidelines and seeing the market my personal assumption is that alt season will happen in the months of august to october and before that it will be all btc, eth and some other top coin show.So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? I like to share my story being a crypto enthusiast, a trader and an investor at the same time.
I started in this forum in year 2015 when altcoins are still a good investment and Binance is still not the most popular exchange in the market.
I trade with Poloniex most of the time, sometimes I trade with Bittrex but then I realize that I am not so profitable with trading since I cannot focus on it due to the reason that i have a day job to prioritize.
Therefore, I started to invest for long term and I was entice by how the market moves and I was so optimistic that long term could really change my life.
So to make the story short, I invested with different altcoins and have help it until now.
Now, when the bull run comes, I still couldn't sell right away as I was getting greedy thinking I could earn more when I still hold.
of course, who would not HODL when all your friends in the group chat are also doing the same, even if the price rise high already, they are still saying HODL, and I really do it, and just sell a small portion of my investment to reward myself temporarily was I was into a big goal with my remaining investment.
And then, the correction comes started in year 2018, and I still didn't panic, continue to hold and even accumulate a bit when I see price has really dump a lot, just imagine ETH drop 10 times, so its really cheap and really tempting for any investors. So here I am now, I am still holding at a big loss but at the same time I am still hopeful one day my dreams will come into reality.
So top 10 of my portfolio consist of the following based on my blockfolio.

Please tell me if I should still expect I will be profitable or just give up now already.
I do not think so because it depends on choice and strategy so for example the coins im holding are significantly up from last two years price so im happy for hodling out while the coins you have listed must be struggling to gain value at the moment maybe they are not delivering their promises but then again it depends on type of project, team and also on your luck.I started in this forum in year 2015 when altcoins are still a good investment and Binance is still not the most popular exchange in the market.

I like the way the market is moving now as the btc and alts mostly moving together whether up or down and it is amazing to see market growing nicely with each new higher leg up after some correction and real bulls dominancy is still not seen so really excited for next few months.I don't understand why when the BTC goes up then the ALT goes down?

I'm looking for undervalued coins on the market with potential to become something big in the future. One of the undervalued coins I've found is Bitcore. It's like an upgraded version of Bitcoin with SegWit, a 10MB blocksize, a GPU-friendly PoW algo, and a faster block time. The coin launched before BCH hard forked out of the original Bitcoin blockchain. Yet, it's worth cents (in terms of USD) on the market. Considering its technical aspects, I believe BTX should be worth around $100 per coin. I've recently bought some BTX coins, and I'm looking for other undervalued options to expand my portfolio.
If you happen to know of any undervalued coins that are a good long-term investment, please let me know. There could be many hidden gems out there on the market waiting to blossom someday. Once they get noticed by investors and traders, their prices will never be the same. Any help, suggestions, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ethereum fees are increased A LOT and it makes much more sense to stop sending transactions because we won’t make a profit from purchased coins, especially on Uniswap. If we don’t need to send a transaction, it makes much more send to avoid it and wait for cheaper fees.
But avoiding transactions shouldn’t be an issue for a well working platform. It is not how Blockchain should work. Ethereum has huge issues and it needs to be solved from Ethereum developers.
If it’s not gonna solved soon, we will see coins rising providing a better, cheaper and faster platform, where everyone can use it again and don’t suffer from high fees.
Many projects are building own solutions currently, to address expensive Ethereum’s weakness. It is quite hard to get an overview.
Here is my ranking list for coins if a coin has a chance to overtake Ethereum, which one would it be:
1. Avalanche. Avalanche is completely different from existing projects and experts have given Avalanche a high chance to be a big game changer for Blockchain and mainstream adoption because of interoperability, great decentralization and scalability in addition to low transaction fees. 9. Algorand. Algorand was very promising before it started but a bad planned ICO and a huge dump after launch, where VC and rich participants sold, caused a dump from 3$ to 0.20$ and left a huge loss for many members. Wasted opportunity but developers are still building.
Ethereum 2.0 remains superior here because it is not included in my list but we need to see how Ethereum 2.0 will look like. Ethereum 2.0 will be huge, for sure, but until it is live, competitors have a chance of overtaking Ethereum.

i have sent some erc20 token to binance. now almost 5 hours still going. am really fed up with this.... bsc is the best and trc20... eth sucks
I know its frustrating but soon eth network will become efficient but we have to wait and see how effective it would be to cope with the volume of daily transactions. In july hopefully all high gas complainants will be happy.Friends i want to ask about a think that i realy cant explain...there is a token called AME that had an ieo price of 0.02...the token get listed on bithumb globale and the price down to 0.006 (bounty hunters and airdrops)...after the sell off end the price go up and stay a long time between 0.01 and 0.013...the team annaunced a new listing at mxc exchange and everyone expect a big incrass(the token had just 2.5 mln$ marketcap at 0.01) but what really happened is that the price decrass to 0.005 within one week and this make me confused...now the price is 0.08 and i start believing that what happened in mxc in the first days wasnt innocent

I think there is manipulation in every coin trading in the market so pointing out a single coin is not a good thing to do rather it has been doing really well recently and price is already over 5x from ico price so i do not think one can complain about it.Who have an idea about the situation?
The BTC has made history today and broke its all time high record. It is currently trading around $ 20500 to 20600. BTC Dominance Index is around 65% which is very High. I personally think that it is the Right time to take entry in Good Alt coins ( Ranking from 2 to 20 on coinmarketcap). I believe that History of 2017 will be repeated soon. We will soon witness Huge rally in Alts. It should happen when BTC will stabilize around current levels and BTC dominance Index comes down to below 60%.
For me, that had to be Ripple. I traded for 100%+ thrice and still holding a position at $0.40.

Well my first choices are always btc and eth, among the next generation blockchains there are dot and ada to consider but all of these have already gained value significantly so i think among the top coins and relatively better ecosystems trx is the one that still seems to be under valued to me.I have a couple hundred dollars to invest...already have my little bags of the most popular coins probably, accumulated over the years.

I do not agree with you as if you remember the altseason of the last time precisely there were many alts with 100x and even 1000x gains so if we set this criteria we have not seen such outrageous gains yet at the moment we have seen just like 5x or 10x gains so there is huge potential for gains still there.Begining. I have profit of 1100$ then invested in bnb got huge profit , then invest on ico. then Huge loss. Total loss is 2500$ ....

I would not consider it a loss but i did withdrew part of my btc when it was still cheap, I cashed out due to personal needs which i really feel bad because value has grown multiple times from that time but the thing you cannot keep holding forever and to cashout for needs is the right thing to do so no regrets really.Now covered... I am beginning to get skeptical once more about the future of Dogecoin now that Elon Musk, the Tesla boss, has been dethroned on the leader chart of the world's richest men on earth by the Amazon billionaire — Jeff Bezos —, the same guy he toppled less than 7 weeks ago to the number one list. What is the way forward for Dogecoin? Will doge relapse and be comfortable with the fun token it was before Elon's pump saw it to the unprecedented height it got to?

as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

All these days, it was free or zero cost to withdraw USDT TRC20 but suddenly from today, they have changed it to 0.20 USDT. I don't know if BUSD fee was 0 from the beginning or not but now it has been decreased to 0. The target is to boost the use of BUSD. This is the manipulation of Binance. There’s more to come.
Obviously binance is playing some games here and to be honest they are a business so they have the right to earn money too but yes they could have kept trx or trc20 transactions free like before and offered some incentive for busd but they did what suited them the best.The way its price is increasing at the present time, many people think that its price will go above $ 200. No one can be hundred percent sure with these price predictions but with the way market is moving and considering the previous highs of neo i think it has potential to grow way above 200 mark so i hope summer this year will be good for neo.
