Very interesting take on the future of mining.

Hashrate appear to recover and get back online but we probably enjoy a negatif diff of -3% or -5% for the next adjustment
then up again.

Don't know if rainy season in China will save the days for those farms.
They probably struggle to relocate ASAP. Look like they holding assets for now.
Market didn't surge with gears for sales.

BTC bull run with ASIC shortage combined with a diff drop it's a wet dream for a miner.
Congrats for those who survived the long bear market and invested while cheap.

Never a boring day in crypto ...

Maximalist need to pop out of their bubble.
Lot's it's happening outside BTC.

I will try that.  Were you saying that you have a hashboard available or just that you have the same machine and brainos fixed it?

Same machine same issue...  Braiins fixed it. Run better with less power

Try Braiins OS , you may be able to revive your unresponsive board.

I have 1x T17-40TH.
One board is underclock by default for heat management and get unstable from time to time.
I run Braiins OS, fixed the issue also save a lot of power.

I believe this would work on the T17's as well but I'd want to make it absolutely certain before someone dedicates time, material, and manpower to print this. Specifically, capturing the power exhaust ports on them, depths to PSU outlet face may differ but fan mating would be ok.

Thanks for sharing your work.
I have a T17-40TH and downloaded the file.
I will try a print in couple of days and update you.

I printed this using PETG.

Fit perfect on S15 and T17 ( when back fan removed ) , 6inch exhaust

Here my listing for print quality example

Love 3D printing  Grin

I love the numbers, perfect small space heater with good efficiency ( not cutting edge but super respectable ).
I'm seasonal miner now, quiet space heater is huge market IMO.
Lot's of friends wanna mine and heat but can't handle a 3KW+ beast mode miner.

I'm following your thread closely, waiting for price per board.

Recipe for disaster.  150W / cards. Don't dual power on same cable.

Each GPU raiser can feed up to 50W single GPU load.

Power = Voltage * Amps.

More amps in cable, more copper needed.

Also pulling 1KW + 24hrs /7 load on domestic socket can be hazardous if you have no clue of what you're doing.
Ask more questions, read more, learn more. You need basic 101 electrical knowledge to be successful.

Good luck and don't burn down your house.

I, however, agree to the fact that difficulty will be most likely be flat or have only a minor increase, in the grand scheme of things, China is the only ASIC Miner's manufacturer, and with things not going too well at the moment, everything from production to shipping will indeed slow down. It's a sad thing and I hope they will get through it with as little damage as possible.

Confirmed

Mixed feeling here.  Undecided

Looking to buy an Antminer R4 for home heating this coming winter Cheesy
Only fully functional units and only from users with a positive trust rating from someone who matters.

Kind regards emilio932

The R4 is a fire hazard waiting to happen. They burn all PCI power connectors, probably a fault in PCB routing.
You should purchase a S9 and load it with braiinOS and underclock to 10TH / 850W isch
Much quiet than a R4 in this mode also run safer.  Wink

Re: Avalon A1041 Review
by

I got 31th at lower speed setting and it was pretty quiet. Makes it good for a home miner.

Thank you for your feedback and tests results, worth it.

I'm looking for quiet miner , the A1041 is a good candidate but I didn't pull the trigger on it yet.
I had mining issues at ProHashing.com ( Multipool ) and at dgb-sha.theblocksfactory.com ( DGB Mining / SHA256 )  with the A721.
The A721 was dropping / reject a lot of hashrate. Digibyte blocks are release at 15sec pace. The Avalon's didn't like it.
No issues with the ant's ( S7 / S9 / S15 )

I would be interested to see tests results if someone could try those 2 pools with the a1041 and report back.
Thanks !

Hello, do you still have  avalon 741 on sale?

I can not send more than two messages per day, I'm a novice. What is the price of the 741s? You send me your whatsapp for PM so we can agree?

allinvain is a trusted member and seller.
I purchased many miners from him. 721 and 741 in hand :

I'm happy with my S15 I won't buy the latest S17 unless it's cheap ( unlikely ).
It just pack more hash and watts but to benefit fully of the new efficiency,
you need to run in low-power mode, cutting precious hash rate for ROI.
In full power, they do a little bit better than the S15 efficiency
but did not justify another upgrade for me.
