Bitcoin would be cool for the long term. However, there are equal opportunities with altcoins, they could be yield reasonable profit within short-term or probably long-term. Do your personal analysis and proceed with your decision. I wish you all the best of luck!

That very true. I was introduced to bitcoin during the times of liberty reserve but never bothered to learn about this amazing technology until now. But when I became conscious, I take any opportunity to learn something new about the technology each day. The more i get involved, the more I have a better mental model.

Frankly speaking, I have not seen something of the sort yet. However, that doesn't mean it impossible, it might take time. I think it would be better if you use specialized wallets for its specific coin. For better performance and security I think that the best way to go about this.

Wow, the benefits are amazing, a very good idea. I'm getting interested and going to study it and try it, thank you, my friend, but how about managing time? don't you have a reality job?
Time is also a factor when it comes to bounty hunting. As for me, I'm currently on vacation so I have dedicated most of my time to bounty programs. I participate in 5 social media campaigns on the average and it doesn't take me more than 30minutes. If you have a busy schedule try to look for campaigns with flexible rules and tasks. Things will move faster that way. And for translation and content creation it will take less than 2hours for an article/translation which could be done during the weekends(off day).

When it comes to bounty hunting, it's about being smart and selective. I do social media campaign when the task isn't difficult. Campaigns that last for 3months+ I participate in the content creation by writing more than 2 article. For Jnr members, i suggest you focus on content creation and translation as my fellow said. The primary motive is to maximize profit.

I will suggest you focus on content creation, it will equally pay off like that of a Jnr member in a signature campaign or even more. Try as much as possible to write not less than 2 articles per project. It's a one-time thing, you write once and that all, you wouldn't stress with submission deadlines and reporting each week. You can include social media campaigns if you have time and translation provided you can.
I wish you all the best of luck !

Please stop, making these posts hoping to get some merit for your opinion/advice.

The last one didn't go very well. Roll Eyes

Feel free to post this in the original merit topic if you feel you must; but I guess you expect it to be more visible by creating a new topic.

Edit: oh wait you got as merit there, so now you thought give it another go.
Nice try buddy. I never solicited for merits lol

Is it worth it for now?

I believe everyone on here joined the forum for a purpose. It is prevalent now how some of the members fret about issues relating to merits. My inclination tells me this due to the idea of maximizing their earnings from bounty programs(signature to be specific). Getting merits is nowadays is a bit difficult than before due to several factors. Is it even worth it for now? I have read comments of members with higher ranks stating they are no longer participating in bounty programs any longer due to most being scam.

My little advice for such people is to be patient and focus on the reason why you joined the platform. If you joined to share ideas and experience, make that the utmost priority. It could be trading, expanding your mental model on cryptocurrency, business, and even bounty hunting.

And for bounty hunters who are desperate about getting merits for the sole purpose of increasing their earnings, be content with your current position and focus and build your social media pages(with regards to increasing friends/followers). You can make content creation and translation campaigns your strongholds (some even pay off better than the signature campaigns).

Lastly, remember the concept of merit can be related to real-life occurrence. It is not appropriate to do something good and expect a reward in return. Stick to this rule and you wouldn't fret about merits again.
Cheers!

That's why OP didn't receive merit yet. I can't find anything new and useful on your post. You should call people if you success. You still can't earn a single merit but you are posting how can earn merit. For me grammar and English is not enough to earn merit. Even your English is weak and you have an useful post than there is chance to earn merit. Of course you should learn English with grammar. For me if you can explain nicely theme of your post & post is useful than it's deserve merit from me. Appriceate them who motivate for good English. Since my English is not good  Cry , but I am still trying to learn from seniors.
That should tell you the topic of good or quality content is subjective. If you read and understood my post well, you would realize there wasn't a line or statement that affirmed good English will surely earn you merit, it's just a facilitator.
it true I don't have merits, but that doesn't prevent me from sharing something regarding a topic. What's the essence of literature review then?
One thing you should have in mind is, good content is a non-factual issue, it varies from individuals. That fact that it isn't useful to you doesn't mean it the same for everyone.

Your last statement affirms you want to learn English, but from your submission, it obvious you not serious about that. You could improve your English with the tool provided you a smart.

I`m curious. How long have you been using grammarly? Because all that I can see is that you have zero merits. So maybe, and just to be more accurate, you can introduce how long after installing grammarly other users are going to earn any merit... (maybe when you earn your very first you will be able to complete your post).

Man, this is another merit thread in the Meta board. It is just like if someone begins to sell hotdogs in an avenue and get rich so many others begin to follow his example and decide to sell hot dogs as well. That never works in real life, for the first and the original idea is usually the one being rewarded.
Besides, the grammarly stuff is well known (I use it myself) and have been mentioned many times (I`ve mentioned it a couple of times, maybe more, as well as other users) and no. Grammarly is not going to give you any merit, the imagination, the creativity, the actual use of a think you have called "brain" is going to give you some.

Anyway, good try.
how do you express your creativity then? What I'm trying to say is that, it has a role to play in good content. Assuming you want to invest in a project, you visit their site and the content there aren't properly constructed, spelling errors and so on. What would be your first impression?
Besides the fact that you've posted several times about grammarly doesn't mean everyone on here knows about it. Who knows, this might be the first time someone is hearing of grammarly.

Can I add one more tip ? Just make a thread about merit in meta section and hope for merits.
And then you get instantly ignored by a number of forum's established members.

OP, do you think English is the only problem for not receiving enough merits? Wrong, even if a post is written in broken English but has good content, it will get the merits it deserves. Adding Grammarly to chrome is not a bad option but it doesn't enhance or promote quality content. A post could be written in perfect error-free English but if it lacks the original content, it's worthless. Many people live in a wrong intuition that they don't get enough merits just because of their English sucks. Truth is, they barely post quality content.
Ask yourself what makes a good content. Broken English? Be reminded good English can be ambiguous. Besides, read what I posted well. There was no assurance that English guarantees Merits.
You're trying to say good English doesn't enhance quality post? That's sounds weird. Then I guess content written in Chinese would make sense to a native English speaker lol.

Tips to increase the chances of your post being merited

I have been in the forum for a while now and I have come across several threads and post by obsessed members relating to they not receiving merits for their posts(base on subjectivity). Most of these individuals have lower ranks in the forum and being part of this sect, I always take time to go through the submissions(replies) by other members and I found most of them being useful. Some of these submissions were from merit givers (merit sources, members with higher ranks etc), so I took them seriously and decided share with my fellows in this situation.

Reading the replies of other members, I realized that most of them made an emphasis on poor construction and issues relating to grammatical errors. Some people may have good ideas and submissions to share but expressing it becomes a problem. Bad grammar, spelling mistakes, punctuational errors change the meaning of intended messages and decrease the quality of a post.

Having these problems at hand, I will like to share with forum members a tool that I been using which I think might be of good use to everyone. And it goes by the name G R A M M A R LY.

Grammarly is a cloud-based English-language writing-enhancement platform developed by Grammarly, Inc. The software was first released in late 2009. Grammarly's proofreading and plagiarism-detection resources[4] check against more than 250 grammar rules.

Some benefits of Grammarly:
1. Get a thorough grammar check.
2. Fix tricky spelling errors.
3. Say goodbye to punctuation errors.

For flexibility and portability sake, they have a mobile application and a chrome extension to meet diverse user needs.

My personal advice:
The concept of merit can be related to real life occurrences. We are always advised to do good and expect no reward in return. The same idea applies to merit. At the right time, we will all be rewarded accordingly.

Visit https://www.grammarly.com/ now to get the tool integrated into your browser or get the mobile version on Google playstore.

if you want to store your coins for long-term better look for some hardware wallet. however, for short-term trades it fairly cool to keep them on an exchange. Be informed in this technological age almost all systems are prone to cyber attack.

Re: How to choose bounty?
by

on 27/07/2018, 10:32:34 UTC
The process you go through before investing in a business or an idea, you need to inculcate that criteria in your bounty selection process. In bounty, you invest your time and resources, which means you should be selective and analytical with your choices. Another thing you should pay attention to is the price of the token at ICO and the total tokens allocated to the bounty program.
I have plans to start a thread for this same topic. I will go into how best we can maximize our earnings from bounty programs according to forum ranks.
Stay tuned.
