Is there a way to turn off the mining aspect on an original Apollo btc miner and just use it as a node?
Yes, you can stop the miner in the GUI and the node will continue to run
GUI options:
1 on the miner screen at the top hit stop miner
2 hit the power button top right and select stop miner
SSH options:
1 sudo systemctl stop apollo-miner.service
2 If you want to make it permanent after stopping the service sudo systemctl disable apollo-miner.service
Thanks for the help, I did try the GUI option but unfortunately I’m not able to mine with my s19 to my own node when I stop the Apollo from mining. Guess I’ll just let her mine away and consume unnecessary power.

why isn't my node connecting to any other nodes? Had a power outage and had to reflash on the sd card now no connections.
If you got a power loss, the blockchain files may have been corrupted and are now reindexing. Do you have no connections to other nodes or no connection to your Apollo? Your question is pretty vague. Try to give as many details as you can to get the best help possible.
I have no connections to other nodes.
I can connect to my miner.

cant seem to control my miners through the web UI...try and change the speed to eco but it still stays in turbo mode same as hitting the stop mining button it continues to mine shutdown doesn't work either

Has anyone used the NODE Configuration to set up ledger live access? If so, would you please share how you configured the node from the settings file?

Yes, with the new update all you have to do is add the line
rpcallowip=youripaddress
in the settings page of your node and save. IP address has to be the local IP address of your computer you have ledger live installed. You then can enable the connect full node settings in ledger live using your nodes ip address and its RPC credentials (username futurebit RPC password displayed in settings). Obviously both the node and your computer have to be on your local network for this to work.
That should do it and allow you to broadcast your Bitcoin txs through your own node via your ledger hardware wallet!

then on ledger live connect node enter my ip address of the futurebit miner along with the port number example 123.123.1.123:8333

I currently have 2 btc miners one has stopped working, just a solid red light this is the one with the node and the other one is plugged in via usb and is working....I've tried restarting it many times fan comes on for a few seconds then nothing.

Have you checked if it's connecting to the pool?
Maybe there's an issue with connectivity and there's no work delivered to the miner.
You would need to give more details for anyone to be able to help.
What's the output of the miner?, is it connected?, mining?, what does the dashboard say, etc.
checked pool and the hashrate is 2.5th so thats only one of the miners was 5th before
on the apollo dashboard one miner is active while the other is inactive

When will be able to run a lightning node and how would i connect my storage wallet to my node?
This is what I want to know as well; it's been nearly a year of ownership for me and I've wanted this functionality from day one
Sadly its been a year of most of the team focusing on operations and supply chain issues to get all your orders out. We seem to have that mostly under control for the near future, and focus will definitely shit to building out our front end and features we have in the pipeline!
