Bitcoin is the real one, Bitcoin cash say that Bitcoin cash is the real one, but it is not true! Many people lost a lot of money due to this confusion - see bitcoin.com and their wallet.
I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.
Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.
So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?
I have presented my theory, but what do you think?
Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.
I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
Monero will be banned in the near future, look what is happening now with anonymous cryptocurrencies in the South Korea...
Over the years studying crypto and the concept of a decentralized world and transactions, I have realized that many organizations now flood into the crypto environment claiming to embrace blockchain and promoting the concept of decentralization. This is just mumbo jumbo as what they truly offer out there is nothing but another centralized concept cloned and disguised with blockchain cover. What do you guys think about this trend?
We live in centralized countries with centralized government and centralized banks. So what do you think? It is not that easy to be decentralized.

Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.
Thoughts? What would you do?
Sell, immediately, because 200% is not healthy growth and you can always wait for an unhealthy fall if this happens

❎ - No, in the near future. Crypto has to stabilize to be attractive again for investors and it will take a while.

Has Quarkchain any bounty? I will be interested in doing bounties for them, their ICO looks very promising!
The only problem MEW had was with DNS google hacked some weeks ago.. but if you use metamask ot etherlockup chrome extensions you don't have any prolblems...
But with metamask your ethereim wallet (private key) can´t be attacked and abused? I mean for example when you install addon with malware?
I don't even know. Both are quite risky investment. But I think ADA is better because it doesn't contradict the idea of crypto. But again if they will even be able to make everything as planned.
Ripple has a real use, cross-chain payments, cooperation with many banks on the world, but ADA has not working product!
Bitcoin changed a world! Ethereum has changed a crypto world! I hope that ERC-20 tokens and ICOs will be here forever and it is not just a temporary solution for startups.
I don't see any problem with ICO information and news being shared in facebook. Facebook is not only meant for communicating with people, it is also built for advertising and for doing some business. I don't see any point of banning crypto-related posts. That is just total nonsense.
I also haven´t problem with doing ICO marketing on Facebook, they block paid advertisement not user´s posts with ICO advertisement.
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents. Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.
Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.
It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.
If as a community we do not say no to this, then it would become the norm.
Of course it is bad, many people are now leaving airdrops due this, who wants to sell his ID for few bucks?

ETH can´t reach $15000 this year and probably won´t reach in the future, because current marketcap is too high and people don´t have another money to spend on crypto .
OMG! This is terrible news, while we know that ICO Bench is a reliable and good standard to measure the level of an ICO. Then, which platform is good and reliable to measure ICO?
There are many simmiliar websites, like Foxico, Trackico, Icomarks, but I dont know if they are better and you could trust them .
