Am i too late to join in the fun this week?

also ryan, can I pay you for a full month or a couple of months in a bundle?

thank you

looking forward to hearing back

you tell me you are just going to "predict" 200 pumps naturally? OH FUCKING PLEASE this is NOT natural! no way is this "natural" either you guys have inside information or you are working with outside whales because wtf??

actually bro ryan has the longest track record of doing this and he explains how in all of his posts

I made money on CLOAK, GSX, XSB, OPAL, ESC, SMBR, NKT, START

Anyone who sells something that ryan tells them to buy is an imbecile

If you’re the type of trader who bounces around, aimlessly, from coin to coin – then you’d find a much more suitable habitat at the roulette table, or the slot machine. Trading is a venture that requires strategy, this isn’t a game of musical chairs... there is a very specific method to playing this market for continuous profit and it has everything to do with ‘long-term trading.'

Soo so so true!!! Some people are so happy with small 100% wins that they don't even realize that we have been buying start since 3K
Start breaking 50K yesterday is a 1500% profit for the squad
yet another TEN-BAGGER!!
THAT IS THE POWER OF GOING LONG TERM

http://i.imgur.com/oxnB2Dm.jpg

Every one of those picks spat out more than TWO TIMES profit

Ryan is very smart and gives everyone subtle hints and clues on how to really make the BIG BUCKS, if you read his posts you would know. I personally never miss one of ryans posts because he always drops pieces of gold for smart people to pick up

for example here are quotes from ryan that he puts into his posts to hint on how to make BIG money, it applies to the above picks and profits aswell

Tip: Novices are so out of sync with the market, that their every move serves only to fatten the pockets of skilled players. From timing, to pattern exploitation – novices are so out of touch with the driving forces behind price movement. So they consistently fail. In order to achieve exponential success in this market, you have to realise that short-term thinking is a mind frame that was custom designed for losers. Expand your time horizons and begin to explore the long term rewards that this market has to offer. Once you come into alignment with the prevailing patterns found in every single altcoin on the market – profit will consistently flow into your hands, with very little effort. Call it manipulation, or whatever you will – but, whilst you are trading this market, you are wither trading with the prevailing pattern, or against it. Make your choice.

Short term trading is a fools sport, and I’ll tell you why.

Taking a short term view on price movement is nothing other than a futile attempt to force an opinion on the market – which will always be a losing proposition.

You see, in order for the flood gates to be forced open, allowing an endless stream of BTC to flow into your hands, it is necessary for you to understand that it is impossible to win when approaching the market with a short-term mindset.

If you were to spend just one hour analysing the charts, you will quickly realise that It is virtually impossible for a short-term trader to pull big money from the market on a consistent basis.

In a previous post, I demonstrated the differences between trading and gambling, pointing out that trading is a venture that requires calculation – whilst gambling is a venture requiring nothing other than misguided hope. The rationalization was that altcoin gamblers, actually believe that trading is gambling, and so they ‘act as if’ this is a fact.

Short-term trading is the gamblers thought process manifested into tangible action.

You see, a short-term trader is basically someone who spends the majority of their time betting on the ‘continuation’ of price moves that have already occurred.

Guys, Short-term trading is a fools sport.

Just by looking at the charts, you will very quickly realise that most rallies erupt over the space of several days at a time. Some moves take several weeks or even months before the market turns around.

The big money is being made by those who understand market psychology. By those who understand that price patterns and market cycles are the keys that unlock the floodgates to profit.

If you have been taking these non-advantageous short-term trades, I hope now you are aware why you have been accumulating loss after loss. It may be time to rethink your approach.

If you are lucky enough to trade with the group

READ EVERY POST that ryan makes because he TELLS YOU how to profit

LONG TERM trades is how we win and win all the time

I shouldn't say this, but it's obvious that ryan only posts weekly profits to throw outsiders off the scent, he knows that if he says CCN coin moved 50% this week outsider novices will think the move is done and will move their focus to another coin, while we bag 100% profits on CCN in the following weeks

but if you look at the charts i posted EVERYTHING is long-term

You missed the point... Balkhole showed that profits come "long-term" instead of how novices think they do (short-term)

I thought I made it clear Cheesy

here is the same thing in picture format lol

Tip: Expand your time horizons and begin to explore the long term rewards that this market has to offer.

its not everyday you're able to turn 3 btc into 9btcs Grin Grin Grin Cheesy CRAVE was my best trade yet, just woke up to an ungodly amount of coins

+1 i feel like i've been officially initiated into the group now

500% profit is fucking crazy man, if i'm being honest. Just 14 months ago I was laid off from work
I began to think to myself that I’d never get back into a job in time to pay off all the bills that were starting to pile up

But it looks like i can get into this crypto stuff full time...I am speaking with ryan himself right now on skype about leveraged futures on okcoin and i am slapping myself because this is like the underworld of crypto. Who the fuck knew you could create bitcoins from thin air in the altcoin market and then shift those profits into the btc-usd market and INSTANTLY triple your stack with leverage?

This is incredible and more people should know about this

I heard about crypto before, but I didn’t know where to start and between raising my two kids and the odd jobs I was doing, I didn’t have the time to sit and read up on everything to give me the knowledge I needed

just a year ago i was on food stamps now im sitting back talking to ryan freaking pumper about throwing 9 btc into bitcoin futures

Re: Best practice for fast transaction acceptance - how high is the risk?

I'm sorry for posting in a zombie thread. Anyone looking for a solution for accepting 0 confirmation payments may check blockcypher api: http://dev.blockcypher.com/reference.html#zero_confirmations

It's not mine but I think it's worth mention here since I was also struggling looking for a simple solution for this matter.
A better way would be to push the TX to the pools themselves.

Once you have a TX sent to you on your node (or you can view it on a block explorer), you have access to the raw, signed TX. You simply copy and paste the raw TX into a form that many pools have to have a particular TX included in the pools next block.

f2pool claims that any TX pushed via it's form will be given priority regardless of fee. (it is always a good practice to only accept a 0/unconfirmed TX if it included an appropriate fee)

Re: KARMA - Black Arrow Software gets BTC stolen
by
rackcityb1
on 07/12/2014, 01:33:19 UTC
Black Arrow Software recently had some of their bitcoin stash stolen and is now blaming it on bitcoin.

I would tend to fall on the presumption of believing these coins were not stolen by an outside hacker, as a more typical scenario in these cases is an inside job and than a manufactured story of guilt which is an old grifter ruse.
I agree. I would say that most companies likely have sufficient security that would generally protect them from outside attackers. Whoever stole the coins likey has at least some connection to someone who had access to the private keys.
At this stage in the game their should be 2 rules with mining hardware.

1) Only use multi-sig escrow with a trusted arbitrator
The thing is that pre-order funds were intended to pay for the research and development of the machines, so they needed immediate access to the money. Otherwise they could just wait until the machines are actually ready to be shipped to sell them.

or
2) Do not preorder equipment and pay with a credit card or use option 1 if its an untrusted company
-snip-
This is good advice. It would be much better for the community if people would force the mining companies to take some kind of risk when developing their new hardware. I don't think using a credit card would protect you though as the delivery timeframes is generally longer then the dispute period.

5000 needed for what?
A big company is not going to change its thoughts because of the people signatures
In theory it could, but I do not believe that a petition will change amazon's mind, especially for something like this.

Petitions are most effective to get companies to make social decisions, not business decisions. If a potential business decision is not in the best interest of a company then they will not pursue that business decision.

Sadly now barely $20K  Cry

Get them while they are cheap...  Smiley
I think this would be incredibly risky. The seller of the directly mined bitcoin could easily sell the private keys twice (or more) or they could sign and broadcast a TX out of the address at a later time, and there would be nothing the buyer could do about it because of how difficult it is to determine where a TX came from.

A possible alternative would be to sell bitcoin whose inputs are from the block subsidies for a presidium (you would actually send the bitcoin to an address that the buyer controls). My concern about doing this however is that it would put the fungibility of bitcoin into question.

Re: Will we ever see BTC on a TV add??
by
rackcityb1
on 27/09/2014, 02:31:31 UTC
I don't know if we will actually see a BTC commercial because that would require money behind it...and if it is just BTC in general, then no one is going to make money from the advertisement.   That would have to come from like the Bitcoin Foundation or something like that.

I do think that we will start to see commercials that incorporate BTC or that they accept BTC...but they will be specific companies, like Overstock, etc.
I would find this to be more likely then someone adverting the use of bitcoin as no one specifically backs bitcoin and therefore no one person/entity directly benefits when bitcoin use goes up.

If bitcoin reaches higher adoption levels and discounts are offered for paying in bitcoin then it could very well be a selling point when a company accepts bitcoin

It will take off around oct-dec though this time it'll be gradual not astronomical like in 2013. Buying as much as I can before it happens
bitcoin took off that time last year because it was made widely known that it was possible to buy illegal drugs on the darkweb using bitcoin (due to the arrest of Ross Ulbright aka DPR)

I wan't the most fun I can have with 12 bucks in BTC. I also want something that has a decent chance of paying out... Telling me to "Put it on black" doesn't count!

Help me double my money and IT'S YOURS!  Simple as that!  Help me double my $12.00 and the 24.00 will be yours!

People make money doing this and I want to be one of those people.

EDIT:    Will provide screen caps!

Is there a live stream i can do this on?

I believe the above address to be the 48% (chance of winning) satachi dice address. As it implies, there is a 48% chance you will win, if you do win then the payout will be 2x what you put in.

So you make a new account just to ask this?
I can't even open blockchain.info right now. Why are you tracking the specific address? This seems odd.
I was browsing blockchain.info when I saw on the front page a transaction with over 3000 bitcoins, it got my attention.

Basically it's very likely to be Bitcoin's own version of money laundering.

When hackers or anyone who wants their coins less traceable, they can use a mixing service that will send their coins through many stages of mixing for a small fee. Normally 1-3% randomly assigned.
I would not generalize this activity to only people who are up to no good. There are plenty of legitimate reasons why everyday people would want to use a mixer.

Also the 1-3% fees are much closer to under 1% today.

Re: Why Do People Believe Bitcoin Will Replace Fiat?
by
rackcityb1
on 01/09/2014, 20:34:22 UTC
This thread isn't labeled what does QA want to happen. Change will happen whether I want it too or not.

Ok, I was thinking your account was either sold or you were cynical to the future. I suppose your dystopian vision is one possibility.

Call it whatever. If it's so upgradable then why aren't they doing it? There are a lot of flaws that are being ignored and you know it. (A dev, jgarzik, has to put out a torrent for the blockchain instead of pruning it. We haven't solved the 51% attack yet. And on and on) If I see more upgrading going on then maybe my view will change and I will be convinced.

Technology is being scaffolded all around the Bitcoin blockchain all the time. Some people criticize bitcoin for not solving all of the problems immediately or adding every new feature set within the core protocol but there are some great advantages of keeping bitcoin simple, reliable and modular and other features scaffolded upon bitcoin instead.

If we want adoption ahead of any competitors then the changes need to be made quickly or someone else will make them and be rewarded for the effort. This Brock Pierce guy TBF member came up with Realcoin because he sees a problem with Bitcoin adoption and wants a solution. I don't know if that's the right way to go but it's one way. Big business solves problems quickly because they have the money and resources to throw at problems. Big business and big money are becoming interested in Bitcoin. Will they decide to fix the problems or scrap the old and develop a new one? That's anyone's guess at this point.
I don't think he so much sees a problem with bitcoin but rather saw an opportunity to exploit greed from people wanting to get rich investing in altcoins that are worthless.

Re: Why do average people run full nodes
by
rackcityb1
on 01/09/2014, 20:31:39 UTC
I know that it helps the ecosystem. It verifies transactions, keeps a full copy of the blockchain, etc...

But it consumes a lot of ram and CPU cycles.
I run Bitcoin Core (with limited incoming connections) and Armory. It takes a big one-time download that took a few hours, ~50GB of disk space (with plenty free), ~650 MB of RAM out of 16GB, ~1 CPU hour out of 400 (based on current uptime and CPU time usages), and minimal bandwidth requirements. The last few of those I can pause any time I want to reclaim the extra resources.
In return, I get to use a good, secure client (Armory) that's connected to the network independent of any external service or undue reliance on peers (to tell the truth about the state of the blockchain, or to protect my privacy). And having powerful local clients, instead of overly-simplified ones, helps me learn more about the technologies behind it. I also like helping secure the network.

For me, that's an agreeable trade, so I run a full node. For some people, the requirements are relatively larger, and the rewards are less important to them, so the balance does not tip in the "run a full node" direction.

Self-interest can, in fact, be sufficient, including in my case. Altruism is a small part of why I run a full node, but is not sufficient nor necessary in my case.

And I know how average users can hurt the network. If we had fewer average users, I'm sure I could bump up my max number of connections substantially. I have to keep it low because I'll occasionally have someone want to download a huge number of blocks from me, and I have little upload bandwidth, so it interferes with anything else I'm trying to do.
Just a quip -- you can run armoryd/bitcoind and limit bandwidth consumed to ~8kb/s down, 2kb/s up with it still being fully functional and up-to-date (req's should be significantly lower than that, but I haven't checked in a while and wanted to be conservative) using an application-level bandwidth throttler like NetLimiter.
I would think that these limits would prevent you from relaying unconfirmed TXs as your node would spend much of it's time downloading recently found blocks (if the average block is close to the limit).
