Re: I'm buying alts now

now maybe investors are focused on ico launcpad at binance because maybe there they can only make a profit by buying ico, I observe 3 ico in binance always above the price of ico when openmarket
Probably because not everyone is able to come in time to buy tokens on IEO so they are buying FOMO from exchange after IEO. Time will tell how is that smart but this looks like slow pump and dump. I am interested to know how many investors know in what they are investing or they are investing because it is on binance.

This IEO all looks like first come first served, pump and dump. There is huge hype going on around them and I have heard whoever invested in IEO made profit but it doesn't mean projects will accomplish their goals and late investors will make profit too.

Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin
I can say that I have bunch of those and sometimes you can't do anything with them. I could burn tokens but why wasting ethereum, it is not that tokens are taking space or anything. And I have lots of dead altcoins which I bought years ago and they are sitting there. Few tokens which are not worth selling at the moment for few dollars because developers said they are developing project so they will remain in wallet for long time, maybe they will worth hundreds when they release products or they will also remain worthless if developers are only talking not developing.

Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019

Yes, people expect that they will make huge money as soon as they enter crypto industry and when they don't they leave. Most don't understand that this isn't some kind of get rich scheme and that time is required, just like in everything else in life.

Very interesting question, in my opinion token which run on other chain (e.g. erc20) and has good purpose is better than altcoin without real purpose.

Re: bounty hunter paid USDT?
by
radokan
on 27/03/2019, 23:01:53 UTC
yes I agree if bounty hunter is paid using USDT, that will keep price at market because bounty hunters will not sell at very cheap price, but it's impossible if they will pay bounty participants using USDT
Nothing is holding bounty hunters to not sell tokens and token rewards can be higher in long term. I don't know what is reason why they sell so low but they should not. We are talking around 1% tokens and I don't think this is so bad for price, there is no reason to pay in USDT.

We could not profit from the icos organized in 2018. It seems the same thing will happen in 2019. The Icos cycle is over now. In that case, stop investing.
I agree now the ico is generally bad going through time, little of the investment can pay off , I think it is better to stop investing
There has to be different solution for this problem. Projects can pay dividends based on number of tokens investors hold or they can buy back tokens at fix price, that will prevent crashing after ICO. First solution sounds better.

Re: Celar binance launchpad IEO
by

on 25/03/2019, 21:02:38 UTC
How is possible for binance to sell tokens under few minutes in these so hard times for all other ICO's and projects? Market condition is terrible, projects can't reach soft cop in months but project listed on binance was sold out in few minutes. Something is fishy going on.

Re: Bounty Campaigns going into extinction?
by

IMHO bounty will disappear in the nearest future. Top ICO will be on the exchange launchpads. They don't need any bounty.
Bounty won't disappear unless ICO disappear. Few projects have ICO on exchange and hundreds projects don't. Question is, how much impact bounty hunters have and where investors are finding projects, here, on rating sites or somewhere else.

Yes there is and it is called escrow.
It serves to protect investors and could protect bounty hunters but projects don't use escrows. Escrow could force projects to pay bounty hunters before they release invested funds.

I would like to know how much are you paying for them, comparing to ICO's price.
Are you buying everything you can buy or only specific coins?

I have this coin https://etherscan.io/token/0xed3e73c01028eab954784aa5aedc97cbe2807dbb?a=0x4d864B804Ebe083618C92C796db875CA9fC7f938 in wallet and I don't even know what this is. Probably bounty reward or airdrop.

I don't get it. Is it some kind of cloud mobile mining, if that is the case it is not mining.
Not sure which mobile phone have enough power to do this kind of mathematical tasks, probably none, and there is another factor to take into consideration, difficulty.

Yes, it was a bubble I don't know what is the reason to say it wasn't. Bitcoin went to 20K, everyone was FOMO buying and it crashed. I don't think we will see ever again so high levels but it doesn't matter because soon everyone will accept crypto, just take a look at new startups.
Games accepting crypto currency. Gambling sites. Shops.

Re: Why people are not fighting with post-ICO scams?
by
radokan
on 15/03/2019, 22:21:47 UTC
Who will fight? Whom have you referred? Aren't you one of them? The first fight should be started by ourselves. And people are fighting. Have a look on reputation thread. ICOEthics has already busted a lot of ICOs. Some other people also doing the same.
This is more like question what to do after everything is over. Prevention is better before than it happen of course, but what if it happens, you can't stop it then.
It's useless to report to the authorities about ICO fraud because the officers will not take action against your report because crypto is not regulated by any party so that all risks are borne by each person.
This is very bad assumption, every country has cyber crime division, they won't take action against anonymous and unknown people for obvious reason, but if people who run ICO and exit are known, once reported action will be taken against them.

Market is not significant moving for last couple of months or since last bitcoin crash.
If you want to know where do we go then go short on bitcoin and you will get the picture of market at the moment. I don't think this year will be anything like 2018 because it was very bad year but I also think we won't see any significant changes.

Re: What's with these Binance ICOs?
by
radokan
on 14/03/2019, 23:53:57 UTC
After Bittorent, another project (Fetch) had another sold out ICO. After many claims that "ICOs are dead", why is it that we still have these ICOs being sold out in a matter of seconds?

Is it because it's held on Binance?
Yes, it is because it is on binance.
Big exchange allowing projects to run ICO is win win for ICO. I can't think of any other reason than people trust binance and therefore whatever ico is there it will be sold out. It shouldn't be treated differently than any other ICO, don't know why it is.

Hello, we are all witnesses of ICO scams. But I am just wondering why people are not fighting against it?
Why people, especially investors are silent. Why they do not try to do as much as possible to get their money back? Calling police, lawyers and so on?
Many ICOs are created by real profiles - so it won´t be hard to arrest them, right?
Because they will waste more money on lawyers and police probably won't find persons guilty for fraud, and if they do it is big question if they will get their money back. And many investors know that when they invest in ico there is very high chance they will lose money.

Re: Buy on ICO or buy after being exchanged?
by
radokan
on 13/03/2019, 13:59:18 UTC
In my opinion, if we want to invest, it is better to buy coins at the ICO. because when the ICO period of each coin buyer gets a bonus and the price is affordable so that we can get a big profit.
I don't see why.
Only if it fancy project and you think price will increase after ICO.
Mostly price goes down, and not by little, it goes down 10 or hundred times down.
Investing or shorting in that period is not such bad idea.

Re: Got a Job after loosing hope in Bounties
by

on 13/03/2019, 13:56:31 UTC
I like to say get a real job and do bounties as extra income.
Bounty hunters made nice money in one and half year ago and probably many of them thought this is it, this is their new job. But things changed and now it is hard to make a living doing bounties.
