Re: [ANN][Crypto-offering] LitecoinPlus (XLC) / fast / green / bounties

Please someone link me to the post where XBCplus promised the IPO funds will go to the community and not into his pocket. Every IPO I know was for the devs and not for the community.

What he said +1. Prove it!

I don't want to bring stale bread up to the surface but a lot of people don't know what is going on.

No one will be able to prove it because there is nothing to prove. I never stated the XBC 'ipo' was going to the dev fund. In crypto land, ipo is a loosely described meaning to distribute the supply (especially with the rise of POS coins). A LOT of coins use this term on bitcointalk and rarely do they intend the actual meaning. My apologies.

It was clear from the beginning that the 47,500 XBC that everyone voted to destroy was meant to be the dev fund. This information was on the voting thread, in IRC and on the poloniex trollbox. At the time of destruction, this was over $200,000 USD worth.

I'll prove it. XBCplus - recognize this post of yours? Source is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=549485.0

IPO's require a website, additional info, info about the Dev, and all the specifications of the coin. In my book, if you don't have those, you're a scam..

Just saying. Smiley

Completely understandable. I am working on a lot of your suggestions right now but my primary goal is to get a coin launched. I won't be revealing my identity but I may get other veteran members to vouch for me.

Give it time, there is a lot of information coming.

There is no premine, the dev team will be raising all funds through the IPO. The rest will be put into a reserve controlled by the XBC committee.

I know you will probably delete, and probably the original post as well. At least maybe someone will see this before you get to it.

Attention, coin is forked. My pool was on chain with maxblock about  59645 (diff 0.11) and block explorer at block 59671 (diff 1.75)
This pool is also at wrong chain http://cga.thedigitalmint.net/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool and I had 20 connections to the daemon.

Devs are working to fix it.

i would suggest everyone take there coin off poloniex until they fix there problems they are having.
I would, if I could.

Snap!
Done, will never trade there again.

I've been unable to even login for about 24 hours now.

Edit: at least I can see the trade history now. Some people are selling way too cheap...

I vote for whatever makes the flow of CGA the slowest, since I already have a buttload in my wallet.

How many??? Grin

I got a little over 300 right now. It was over 2% of the total supply, now it's a little under. I am a CGA whale, I can crush the orderbook if I wanted to. I'd like to get a good return on it though. I'm actually thinking of placing more bids, but I guess now I'll wait and see if price goes any lower after this last round of FUD.

Right before the FUD started I placed sell orders for all my alts except CGA, with the plan to buy more CGA. I've almost doubled my stash of CGA, which still isn't that many. You could say I'm "all in" Smiley

I'll admit I've only skimmed the source code, but I still don't get why this is such a bad thing. Wouldn't lots of coins have this same problem?

InceptionCraft's MPOS pool is now the only pool to have a live updating statistic on the dashboard that shows the probability of the pool generating an anomaly. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like:

I need to polish up the code first, and then I will help wzttide and future pool owners implement it if they want it.

Pool: http://cga.inceptioncraft.net/mpos (PPLNS, 1% fee).

Awesome job!

Hey guys, today there is this religious thing among my people where you have to give away things you have, even to strangers. So I sent some CGA to the last five addresses I saw on this thread, hope you don't mind.

Wow thank you kwisatz! I feel unworthy of your gift.

New 5 btc buy order. Pretty big development for small market. I wonder if any dumpers are even left to fill it.

Wow 722 CGA! My buy order at 0.005 has no chance now lol.

CGA is an investor's dream, the coin supply cannot be pumped by gigantic hash rates (inflation is very minimal) and rewarding to loyal miners in times of low net hashes.

This is why i like CGA.

I'd like to point out 1 fact regarding CGA price. I'm very certain once CGA hits coinmarketcap, the price will skyrocket on poloniex then average out after a few days.
This is advice i give to my clients, but i felt many of you should know this.

How do i know this? Read the great overview of Arielbit, as i quoted. When PMC and Darkcoin hit coinmarketcap from poloniex, they spiked 100-500%.

Watch out and be ready, CGA will not go unnoticed.

..and although unpredictable/anomalous supply, the coin supply is a bit more or a bit less constant.

So are you guys suggesting to sell when CGA hits coinmarket cap, or hold of the long run?

Edit: not that I'm intending to dump any time soon, just curious of the strategies people use.

I have an idea that which I would like to share.
Wouldn't it be good if the algorithm of CGA receives a name? In my opinion this would help with the coin's publicity. The early supporters already see it is a genuine idea, but it would be good if the message of originality can be conveyed by naming it with some catchy phrase. Something like 'Anomaly-based inverse adjustment' or 'Savedoff supply attenuation'.
Anyone likes the idea?

I like this idea a lot! Would be great for marketing. How about:

Relative Anomaly Check (RAC) algorithm.

Relative because it's about the relationship between the current block and difficulty, Check for the 0 or 1 remainder being checked. Anomaly because, well you know.

Is anyone using a hosted solution to mine for CGA? Looking for a way to temporarily increase my hash rate without forking out for the hardware.

Come on cga!! we believe in you  Tongue

Hashrate is dropping again.

I've been mining non-stop since a few hours after launch. Unfortunately I have very small hash power and only have 7 coins. I believe in this coin though and will continue to mine 100%.

How come I cannot withdraw from http://cga.poolnetwork.org/....and cga.altcoinpool.org is down as well...
Have I lost all my CGA?!??! =(

Will cga.poolnetwork.org be coming back up??? I still have coins with them that I have not been able to receive.

Payouts got jammed due to software fork.. Been mega busy but working on it right now so keep checking your wallet!

I would love to be proven wrong, and still hope I am, but I'm gonna call it - we've been scammed.

Been waiting for my coins for almost a week. The site is offline now.

cga.poolnetwork.org has just come back up with this message:

Coin fork means no payouts could be made, closing pool until dev fixes this!

Sorry for the inconvenience, please contact PoolNetwork on bitcointalk for questions/support.

i sent hoosen some coins,to help him out for cpa.poolnetwork screwing him over.

Hoosen has been paid out in full by my partner and is happy, see below:

http://oi62.tinypic.com/sq1qnp.jpg

The pool experienced a lot of issues due to the forking of the coin meaning cronjobs started failing (auto-payouts) which in turn messed up the figures in the database.

I have PM'ed Ralph and am happy to pay out anybody who mined at our pool and has coins outstanding.

Poolnetwork - I replied to your PM. Any idea when I can expect my coins please?

With the recent update about altcoinpool, my thoughts are this:

Not trying to have a go at anyone, but if you decide to start a pool, some common sense should be applied:

1. Communication prevents 99% of issues, and goes along way to alleviate FUD
2. If you don't have the time/determination/commitment to maintain your pool, don't start one in the first place...

That being said the community relies on pools, and we are in debt to all those who maintain a reliable service Smiley
