I am Ramon and I am an expat living in Thailand.

I have been reading lately about cryptocurrencies, specially about Bitcoin, and I am looking forward to investing some money to hedge against inflation and as a personal investment.

I searched a bit online for the best crypto exchanges and I came across this article with 5 crypto brokers compared.

The page is written in Thailand and looks more reliable than most of the ones I have read. I found out that Bitkub, Binance, Satang Pro, Bitazza and Zipmex are the top companies.

Is any of you operating with any of these?

Is it okay to invest with them or should I use Kraken or Coinbase which are the popular ones in Europe?

Puedes usar 2 tipos de plataformas:

- Plataformas centralizadas o Exchanges. Estos son por ejemplo Coinbase, Kraken, eToro ...

- Plataformas sin KYC como Relai, HodlHodl, LocalCryptos ...

Si vas a largo plazo y para ahorro quizá puede ser interesante comprar algo sin dar tus datos por temas de seguridad y privacidad.

Por lo contrario, si crees que vas a querer vender en el corto-medio plazo, yo usaría eToro, Crypto.com o algo similar, pues las plataformas de fiat a cripto y viceversa son más prácticas. Puedes consultar más brókers y plataformas para comprar Bitcoin y otras criptomonedas en páginas web especializadas.
