your islamic bank is a joke,
your weekly statements constantly reveal ongoing losses and numerous micro-loan defaults,

and now you're looking to start a new investment scam?

the nerve of some people!

also, putting your bank's logo on a bitcoin is about the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

your home, or business lease agreement?

are you in an apartment complex, or a smaller residential house?

who will notice if your electricity costs rocket up by $200-$500 in the course of a month's time?

how old are you?
how long do you plan on staying in the area?
what is your current employment?

this has probably been pointed out before,
but it's obvious that
.. bitcoinholdings.net and bitover.com,
are being run by the same person,

as when you go to either website you're greeted with the message,
"Back off or I'll get the freakin' sharks w/ the frickin' lazers on their frickin' heads..."

doesn't say much for diversifying your clients.

in fact this whole 'bank' is a joke.

...
kind of makes me want to found a fake company myself,
post on the gbsle, sell all the shares, then walk away with the money.

Re: Exchange accidentally sent 512 bitcoins after coding error
by

i have a business selling specialty socks that i, and my family knit ourselves.
i built a website for selling these socks to people who recognize the inherent comfort and value of such socks.

one day, i accidentally mail 500 socks to a registered buyer on the website.
the socks, unlike gold, are not a 'precious metal', and are not considered a 'currency' by any nation on the planet.
yet they do have a value to my family and i, as it took thread to make, and an investment of our time.
.. therefore, i go ahead and verify that the buyer did indeed receive the amount of socks in question,
and cordially request that the buyer help resolve this mistake amicably.
to which, they become hostile, citing 'finders-keepers'.

i'm not a legal expert,
but i've seen stupider cases on judge judy.
i believe i can sue, since, the original buyer acknowledged the mistake, and kept the product regardless.
to think otherwise is stupidly naive.

...
...

also, the argument that bitcoins are worth nothing is by its nature, flawed,
as, like knitting socks,
there are electrical costs, and an investment of time, required to mine a single bitcoin.
it is this inherent value, that you would be potentially suing for.
..
you would essentially be saying 'pay me the amount in electricity that it would cost to mine another 512 bitcoins, and compensate me for my time', or give back the coins.

Best case scenario IMO is Paul wins the GOP nomination and Obama rigs the Presidential election so that people will realize that "democracy" never really existed and blame goes where it is due.

Obama does not have the power to that, others do, but they are "going down" next year.

by others, you mean the GOP?
http://www.truth-out.org/new-court-filing-reveals-how-2004-ohio-presidential-election-was-hacked/1311603015

yeah, they are most certainly "going down" next year.

this is the motherboard i've been choosing to use with rigs that have 2-3 cards in them.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003IHUSAO

i have 3 5970s in one, spaced out so that they have room to breathe.
breathing room was a concern for me, because i wasn't putting the motherboard into a well-ventilated case,
instead opting to go with open air myopenpc's workbenches.

..not sure if that is overkill for you...

also, i would recommend at least an 800 watt psu from a more reputable brand, like coolermaster or corsair.
.. but i'm not sure about exact wattages to be honest .. you may be able to get by with that.

i know it takes at least 1000 watts to power 3 hd5970s. but that's double the gpus...

i know about asics and fpgas.
but the up front investment in them is still too high to warrant buying them for such low hashing power.

for the general consumer, among graphics cards, the 5970 is still one the best solutions for power-efficient bitcoin mining.

I have space available. I also have the power requirements met and set with National Grid.

if you're concerned that one mining rig is going to generate excess heat in the space you supposedly have available,
then i'm concerned about your plans to expand your mining operation.

also, it's a dumb argument, that keeping the cards at stock will save on electricity costs, and thus be better for shareholders.
it's dumb because the radeon 5970s are about the most power efficient cards out there,
thus, the more power you pump into them the better ROI you will get.

running 5970s for mining without overclocking them is just about the dumbest thing i've ever heard.
at the very least, you should be underclocking the memory.

why is anyone still taking this guy seriously?
