My Mum has just transferred £5000 from Coinbase into Cryptopay (not directly onto the card) and then she added bitcoin from Cryptopay onto her card.  What fees will she have paid on that?

Surely you don't charge 3% just for transferring bitcoins from Coinbase to Cryptopay wallet and not the debit card???

Please respond.

I am mining dual ethereum and decred.  My decred pool is suprnova.cc.  They are accepting all my shares but not showing and miner activity on my suprnova dashboard.  What is going on?  Are there any known issues with suprnova right now?

Will their POW algorithm change affect this?

Re: Which RX470/RX480 RX570/RX580 GPU for my first 6 GPU Ethereum mining rig?

There is a lot of talk about the GPU brands etc but what about the other components.  If I wanted to run SIX RX 580s sapphire 8gb what kind of motherboard/PSU/memory/cpu would be recommended to be capable of handling all 6 cards?  What are you guys using in your rigs?
Well, there are so many options out there that is difficult to say. One can't say "Buy Asus model XXX" simply because so many others works just fine.
You need to do a bit of research.
Maybe you wanna buy a mobo with the newest Intel chipset? Maybe you don't...
Obviously you need to make sure that the mobo you're going to buy has at least a mix of 5 PCI lots and 1 M2, or 6 PCI slots, or 4 PCI and 2xM2...
And, for a CPU, I'd go with the cheapest you can find, like a Celeron that fits the architecture of your mobo (generally 1151)
4GB of ram is nough.
PSU will depend on how many GPUs, but generally 850w for 6 cards should do the trick. But, again, you need to check which GPUs you're buying and how much they consume.

Well Like I said I have ordered six Sapphire RX 580s 8gb.   The reason  I asked is because miners aren't like a gaming rig.  I don't need to configure it to suit my complex gaming needs.  I need a miner that just works when it's switched on.  Surely I don't need to research dozens of motherboards?  I just need a solid suggestion for 6 cards.   I used an ASrock H81 Pro BTC R2.0  for my first miner (Six RX470s) but I am hoping there is a better board for my second rig with six RX580s

I am not sure why I would need M2 slots,  are they SSD related?  I have an SSD on my first rig but it's just connected via sata.

Hi, can somebody help me out.  I need an advice thread because I want to build a second miner and I have a $4200 budget but I need to make sure I buy the right parts.  Can anybody point me to an advice thread for miner building and choosing parts?

I am mining on dwarfpool and the monitoring page is showing that the miner has not been active for 6 hours,  but claymore is working normally and accepting shares from dwarfpool.  Is this something to be concerned about or are they stealing my hashrate right now?   I am also mining decred at the same time on suprnova and the decred pool is showing my miner functioning normally.

What is going on?  Is this a website glitch? or are they stealing my hashrate?

I have a spare 6 pin sata port on my EVGA supernova modular PSU.  If I buy a 6 pin male to 6 pin male modular cable, can I plug that into my PCIE riser to power it safely?

I really need an answer to this if anybody could help
You can but power of it is same as SATA.And many connections are not good idea. Best is to cut wires and make it directly to 6 PIN

That's what I intend to do.  I was just worried that the spare 6 pin socket on the PSU says SATA  and I will be plugging it into a PCIE graphics card riser.

An RX460 4GB OC will be arriving soon, I'm betting +20MH/s on this $150 card. We'll see...

Those 1080's are like $1k?

In the USA at least the GTX 1080 can be had for under $500 and the GTX 1080 Ti is $700. I'm sure the 1080 Ti is $1000 or more in some countries that get hit hard with import taxes on PC hardware. Sad

In the UK the outrageous Brexit vote means that used b grade RX470 GPU's are now £30 more expensive than what we paid brand new for them in November. But hey, at least we didn't elect an sociopathic orangutan as POTUS lol.

Do you have a second screen connected?
I could solve this jumps by unplugging my second screen which was plugged into my mainboard
Yep i have second screen, I would be very grateful if you can solve problem

Anyone have RX 570 or 580?

AMD's newest driver only support 5 cards, BSOD on the 6th. I tried 6 470s same problem.

Have anyone had any luck getting 6 RX 570 or 580 working on Windows 10? I'm not sure if the older drivers will let me install.

i wonder the same.

I tried 6x 570 no luck....

Also has anyone tried to mix 470 with 570 on same rig? or 480 with 580? ANy luck? I got 5 of them working with 17.4.3 drivers but.... 1 off them still has code 43. So i didnt even tried putting a 6th one...

I got a 580 the other day running fine with my 2 480s just used the driver disk which has "driver ver: 13-09(win7/10 64bit)(17.10.1030)" on it

did you mod the bios for those? cause i did. forgot to mention it.
not moded i believe a mix of 470,480, 570, 580 would work. bigger question is how to get a mix of 6 cards running or 6 not mixed cards running while they are modded

Also remember if you mod your bioses you may have problems with driver signature checking from AMD on later driver versions from 16.12 onwards.   I use 16.11.5 or 16.6 to avoid these issues.

Not sure if it's part of the stability problems or not but my miner on my 4x470 rig keeps crashing. The EthDcrMiner64.exe keeps crashing, it's just the miner.

PC doesn't freeze etc.

Is this a bad card acting up or stability issues in 9.x?

Maybe something wrong with the riser?

Its about time a branded company started making these.  Reliable ones which can be trusted unlike the generic crap we see on amazon and ebay. I'm also interested to know the difference between the version 3 risers and version 7 risers.  Does anybody know?

Jesus christ the problems never stop!!

Now I am getting this error when trying to install AMD APP SDK 3.0  - "This installation package cannot be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid Windows installer package"

This was installing fine until today.  I can't use claymore without it I don't think so now I can't mine at all.

Have you read my reply on your post a few pages back?

Yes I read it but I haven't had chance to try that because of the new issue.  Does Claymore need the AMD APP SDK 3.0 in order to work?  It won't install now.

happened to me, my risers were v003 (version printed on the pcb near the x16 slot) and after 3-4 months i realised my voltage were spiking to VERY high once in a while (i have hwmonitor running to check status of my video cards) and once in a while it would cause my system to shutdown. i couldn't track it the issue until  amorning when i booted the system that one of my rx480 burnt in front of me! sparkles and little firework under the heatsink.
first this happened to me, a chip/solder were burned on the riser. that's how i realised how garbage they were. thrwe them all away and bought v007 a month ago and since then, never saw any voltage spike in hwmonitor.

all i'm saying, to protect your equipment, buy quality parts. (the risers i bought v003 were like 7$ and the v007 i'm getting now are 15$ CAD, worth it and i won't come back home with my house on fire...)
happy mining

I can only find version 6c on UK ebay.  the current ones I have are version 3.  Would version 006c be OK?

I'm sick to death of my miner crashing.  I have six rx 470 8gb sapphire cards and it can run ok for days, then locks up.  Then I have to restart it about 10-20 times because I constantly get the message "Ethdcrminer64.exe has stopped working".  Then I go into GPUZ and see that one of the cards is not reporting data fully.  After 10 restart or so it starts working again, and I get a few more days mining,  sometimes less.

What could be causing this?  All cards are cool, well ventilated running at 74 degrees contant.  this issue is really pissing me off now. All parts are relatively high quality,   EVGA power supply etc.

I am running win 10 64 bit

remove and reseat everything. run memtest86 overnight.

all vbios stock?

No I modded them for extra mining capabilities and it worked well for a while but now it's crashing a lot.  I am sick to death of the "Dcrethminer64.exe has stopped working" error.

Check gpu-z for cards with Hynix ram lol.

GPUZ reports the ram as 8gb samsung.   But sometimes certain bits of data are missing from the gpuz report on one card or another.  Can't remember exactly which bits of data, they are usually blank.  When you see that you know without doubt claymore is going to crash.  But sometimes it still crashes when GPU is reporting everything is OK on all cards.  It's a shame because if this carries on I will have to sell up.  I just ROI'd thanks to the ethereum price shooting up but I wanted to run it for a year or so.   It is taking up so much time now and I cannot nail down the issue(s).

Do you check the PCIE riser? GPU also draw power from motherboard through PCIE.

Well I have unplugged the power connector then plugged it back in, I don't know how else I can check it. What I can't understand is how can the risers be malfunctioning all of a sudden after days of mining?  The miner doesn't move, the GPU's are secure.  How can they work for days, then fail, then after a few restarts begin working again.  There is no logic there unless I am missing something.
