I like the attention to details in using cable ties and cable holders (to stick the sata cable on the wooden base, and the GPU base).

But there's just too much cables to do a proper cable management.

Started mining in June, this is my rig, 2x HD 5850 and 1x HD 6850, planning to replace 6850 with a 58xx and add 1-2 more GPUs (some 58xx) by next month. Had to replace Corsair VX 550 because it broke after approx. 336h of continuous load of ~600W (all GPUs and Q9300 overclocked and overvolted). TX850 is fine now Wink

From your pic, the PSU 12V pin on the ATX connectors are burnt. If you still have the PSU, it is still usable. Just replace the pins and the ATX connector and you are good to go.

Updated pic from my earlier post.

Wheeling this off to an industrial area...where noise is not a factor. (I'm renting power there)

hostname, IP Tongue

My "1u". Headless, boots off usb. Ubuntu 10.10. 3x5850. Puts out about 1Gh/s. Front and top fan push, rear fan push.

Surge protector and the internet connection via a 3G wireless router (3G dongle not in pic)

Of the whole system, only 1 power socket needs to be plugged in for this to work.

A little photo to tease you, just two power cables coming into my mining rig (DC3) . 10 more can be added as needed.

Pardon my ignorance, why is the socket mounted so high near the ceiling, and not near the floor?

yes those are lego...and duplo...It's a holdover until I get some time to build the wood frame.  Two 6970's at ~360MH/s on stock voltage and one 5830 at 270MH/s, also on stock voltage...all running on linuxcoin.  Using the GPU fans @ 50% they all hover around 73C in my basement drawing 720 watts.

You need one of these running linux coin. Smiley
I used to make and sell them, but it's too time consuming as I hand make each one.

My small rig.

5870 on a Gigabyte M68MT-D3p

The cut-off bottles are there as ducting to direct cool air in from the front (1x80mm ingress) and hot air out (120mm). I keep the side panels closed and this ducting reduces the graphics temp by 1 degC. $0 and 20mins of cut and trial and cut.

I was trying to use the PCIE-1x with an extension to plug in another 5870 but I cannot get any response with 'lspci -v' or 'aticonfig --list-adaptors'.
I even did the wire routing as mentioned here:
http://blog.zorinaq.com/?e=42
By connecting B17 pin to ground. No luck.

I like their website. It is quite informative with huge amount of news. Interesting if they make some research of data from exchanges about volumes.

Did you know that 80 percent of traffic on Reddit is from the USA and Canada?

Not true, might have been true very long ago Smiley About 40% of traffic there is from the US, and 5-6% from Canada.
I have just checked it on Alexa and it shows these data:
Visitors by Country
🇺🇸 United States
45.0%
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
7.5%
🇨🇦 Canada
5.8%

Re: 10% ROI every day offer?
by
rearwheels
on 05/10/2019, 23:52:20 UTC
Hello everyone,

last week I was contacted by someone on Instagram. They said if I invest with them into Bitcoin, I will get 10% ROI every day and at the end of the month I will receive the payout. He said the minimum deposit is 0.05 BTC.
He said this:
I work under a mining software service which is responsible for providing good mining hash rates and there's a target of bitcoins to be mined under the pool so by offering cloud mining services we're able to generate high traffic which increases mining speed so we can work more efficiently to each our targets and by doing so we offer profits to investors in return.

At first this seemed like a good offer but I don't know, I'm not that experienced with Bitcoin. He also has a certificate of Certified Blockchain Expert. He has quite a lot of followers and the Instagram profile is quite old. I think if this was a scam they would report the profile? I would rather not share the profile...

I would like some opinions from you experienced people please Smiley

Thanks and best regards
10% is too high so indeed it is a scam. Even 1% per day is risky scheme for legal projects. Just imagine that you have tool which gives you 10% daily. Would you need to find somebody to make them invest?

Seems i was totally right about L7. Where are you now Ustaz?

No secrets: if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true.

Looks like the story is not ended yet. There are still posts from administration that project will be back soon with updated platform. Weird situation - if they decided to scam why to post news and give hopes to people.

Bump

I think it will be better if you provide answers to the question ask by the @rearwheels because that is the question on the mind of every developer, article needs exposure that is why we all need to know your website Alexa ranking and the kind of readers that you have.
Unfortunately I could not find any data about this website on Alexa, SimilarWeb and on other services.
Weird service. Is his aim just to charge 15 $ per 500 words?

Does anybody know how to extract private key from it?

Follow the steps from this video. It seems that you can also backup the mnemonic phrase for all the wallets.
It only works for imported wallets so you can't get the private keys of your adresses with this procedure.

Thanks BitCryptex. It was easy
Looks like my mind in the end of the day is not working good Smiley
If it wasn't an imported wallet, you just got the xpub keys of your wallet or its seed, you didn't get any "private key".

So if a wallet was created instead of imported you will be able only to restore whole wallet with seed and you cannot to extract for example private key for ETH.
