You all need to take a step back and breathe. Everything will be fine, Remember my hard earned money is here too. I worked for all the voot i own and bought it on my own time. We are working hard , this isn't going to be an overnight thing. I am setting up something so we have Communication between the team outside of the fourm and IRC. This will help LOTS! Jefferson was very anxious and excited to get the information out, mistakes happen, you just need to not PANIC, and be reassured that we are working the hardest we can.

If the problem of AnonEx is no room for running it, we can rent hosting service like Amazon Web Service.
Or you can use my server if you mind.
My server is not so powerful (dual x5650 with 48GB) but it should be enough to show real working AnonEx to VOOT holders.
We need to move quickly.

We all know what will happen if the deadline isn't met tomorrow. Let's not jump to conclusion and patiencely wait. This is like a ticking time bomb.

I think it's the last opportunity to buy VOOT around at 3xx ~ 4xx sat.
Once VootEx is released on time, I will hold my VOOT for longterm again.

Deadlines are no good if you ask me.
Even if the exchange comes, are we definitely using its fees to aid VOOT price stability? I know it was the original intention. But what with all the FUD it's hard to keep track of what's real. lol
This is the communitys and as i`ve seen also team VOOT`s wish. The exchange belongs to VOOT, so in the end we decide.
I think we need clarification as to who exactly owns it, who runs it, who maintains it, who hosts it etc. MSCollec paid for it, surely he owns it?
MsCollec said he will be with VOOT until VootCloud release.
So I don't think that he completely left VOOT.

MsCollec, please, provide us more proof, not only promises. I really want to belive that anon exchange will be ready on Monday, but we all afraid of similiar scenario to the last one - announcing exchange, getting confirmation and then fail. We need a proof this time, not only words.
I have asked the smoke team and they said the community gave them Monday as the deadline.. I hoping they meet the new deadline. Thanks

AFAIK, he/she already spent bounty for VootEx and VootCloud to SMOKE team.
So SMOKE team will release those two features eventually IMO.

BTW, I think it would be good to renew our logo if it's possible.
Current logo doesn't look good to represent fundamental of VOOT IMO.
I found a nice logo that well represents goal of VOOT (privacy == shield) from old logo contest thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=659222.0;all).
How do you guys think about it??

Which one is new? The blue one is really bad. No offense. It just reminds me of like a medicine logo you would find in a pharmacy or a piece of Easter candy.
That you are saying is new one.
I don't like it either but it was picked by competition. (already spent from bounty)
Using old and new logos without consistency may not look clean and neat anyway.

I'm running my wallet in arm-based SBC like raspberry pi for staking.
I successfully built wallet from source code but it seems that staking is not working (tested for 48hrs).
I faced several compile errors related to scyrpt() and scrypt_core() which are caused by lack of arm version asm file.
So I got scrypt-arm.S from other coin's wallet source code then I finally got QT binary without errors.
Is there any possibility that replaced and newly linked asm file causes staking problem?

Staking works well now
Just replacing scrypt_mine.* and adding scrypt-arm.S files from HoboNickels code can build working arm binary.

The bottom line is, Vootcoin has NOT been abandoned.
There is ongoing work behind the scenes to continue to bring new features to this crypto. People simply overreacted to some miscommunication brought on by MsCollec. Yes, the devs failed to meet the July 26th deadline for the anon exchange due to some unforeseen circumstances, but I am told that the SMOKE team is still working on it and will be providing us with a new ETA/deadline soon. I will share more details as I receive them.

Today, I sent small amount of Voot from my Tor/Nitesend Voot wallet to Bittrex via mixed request.
But my entire balance in my wallet disappeared when I restarted wallet (also anon transaction disappeared from transaction list).
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem??

1) Create a shortcut for Vootcoin-qt on your desktop.
2) Right-click the shortcut and select properties.
3) In the field labeled Target type -rescan on the end.
P.S. default is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Vootcoin\vootcoin-qt.exe" so the target field would end up looking like
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Vootcoin\vootcoin-qt.exe" -rescan.
