Re: Confused about which mining pool to join and stick with.

Statistically, it doesn't matter what pool you join, in the long run, you will make the same regardless of what pool you join.  The only thing that can impact that is the pool's fee structure.

Big pools give you smaller but more frequent payouts, and this plays to a lot of miners' psyche.
Small pools will give you larger but less frequent payouts. (this is called variance).

So as far as how to pick a pool, looking at it from a profitability's perspective, look at their fee structure.  Otherwise, pick one with a good community (or not).

Personally, I would go with the smaller/mid-sized pools, they have a better more homely community and it helps spread out the hash rate.

I would advise you to do the math on any setup you consider.  Take into consideration the speed, how much it will yield you on average, and power costs, and then make a better informed decision on what setup to go with.

Why are people even giving this guy money? He hasn't answered any of our questions, and his PSU requirements doesn't add up at all.

That whole chat thing can be pretty convincing that BOG is under Dynastack, but as that was the focal point of the sales rep's proof of relation to Dynastack, I'm starting to think maybe they did get owned.  There is absolutely no news about Dynastack opening up this child entity.

Also, the BOG website is hosted in Kansas somewhere and according to Dynastack's website, they don't have a datacenter there.  Also, Dynastack's SSL certificate's meta-data is thoroughly filled out, and BOG's is blank.  Probably beating a dead horse here but this one seems to be a bit more elaborate if it is a scam.

BitOfGlory.com - here's another one.

WHOIS dates to the 4th and is private.  They are claiming to be under the company Dynastacks (a major hosting company).  Dynastacks has public registration information, been around since 2005 (at least their domain has), and has no mention, links or ties to BitOfGlory.

I was greeted right away with a chat at Bit Of Glory, didn't need to put in my name, or any information, and nonetheless, the chat agent did not have the professionalism I would expect  from a company as reputable and big as Dynastacks. And of course when I point that out, all of a sudden, the agent started using capitalizations, spelled out his words and proper punctuation.  No more 'lols' and emoticons.

My verdict: Stay away.

Do you accept BTC? What's the BTC price?

Also, given the necessary PSU stats you posted, are we looking at <336 W for the 160G and <672W for the 320G? And with OC, will those PSU numbers hold up?

Agreed.  That PSU has 1080W on the 12v rail, it leaves you with very little wiggle room, but it is doable (not recommended).

Will the raffle continue after the ship date if it does not reach 100? Or will everyone be refunded.

Sent a small tip your way Sushi.  Thanks for all that you do and have done.

Question:  I see some other group buys with this raffle system, is that something Bitmain is doing? If so, is it one big pool? or are they individual to each group buy.

Looking forward to the drawings =]
