i'm sorry guys but i'm not getting anywhere with this, could someone please help me?

Ok, for starters, get rid of btcguild.com and put in the ip address again.

So for server address it should be
192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.2

secondly put in your username password twice EG
username:password, username:password

thirdly I like to change the IP address of my blade so it is not the same as my routers IP. EG
My proxy runs on 192.168.1.200 (this computer)
my first blade is on 192.168.1.201 and accessible for setup on 192.168.1.201:8000

your router/modems ip is going to be 192.168.1.254:80 which is very similar.

very helpful info! I will use this as a reference point when changing pools/coins

Great to have such helpful people on here.. i would still be pulling out my hair if people like you weren't on here!

again, thanks for taking the time to help me Smiley

WOO! Hash on!

Thank you for the reply,

i entered the touch then tried the second one,
Code:
sudo echo kern.sysv.semume=100 >> /etc/sysctl.conf
and got permission denied?

Huh, me too.  Here are the original instructions, I put them on one line to make it easier (silly me, should have tested).  Instead use this:

Code:
sudo su
touch /etc/sysctl.conf
echo kern.sysv.semume=100 >> /etc/sysctl.conf
chown root:wheel /etc/sysctl.conf
chmod 0644 /etc/sysctl.conf

Enter each line one at a time exactly as above, and then reboot.

THANK YOU!!! Worked like a treat.
Great stuff, will add this to documentation!

Being a sudo command it will only work until reboot correct?

Have just installed 3.12.3 for mac OS X.

I can only get it to pick up 10 USB Block Erupters. The rest give me this, SEM: Icarus USB timeout waiting for (65547) '/tmp/cgminer-usb-20-10'

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

A usb failure can show up in so many ways, this is one of them. Likely there's just not enough power.

A fellow by the name of JimJag found the solution to this in this post on the Asteroid forums.

Quote
The issue is that cgminer uses SysV semaphores and make use of the UNDO mechanism. OSX by default only allows 10 of these per process. Use sysctl to update to something more reasonable (eg: sysctl -w kern.sysv.semume=100). If cgminer has already been running, you'll need to do this via /etc/sysctl.conf and reboot.

The solution he suggests, can be implemented by running the following in your Terminal.app and then rebooting.

Code:
sudo touch /etc/sysctl.conf; sudo echo kern.sysv.semume=100 >> /etc/sysctl.conf; sudo chown root:wheel /etc/sysctl.conf; sudo chmod 0644 /etc/sysctl.conf

use an IP sweeper to find the ant miner, then set the IP to static
Question, I had issues with the ant miner and slushes pool, it looked like it was mining, but never got any shares... so i quickly switched over to eligius...

I actually direct my to Ghash.io

Something weird happened at Slush's, it used to be so good. Now I only recommend it for those using stratum proxies (for simplicity).

weird at slush's pool or with the proxy?

Hi guys,

Just got 2 of these delivered. And picked up a couple of power supplies. Got 2 GS800's.

Started to setup and can get to the config page with no problems. Put in the pool info ghash 3 times. Hit save and add.

Nothing happens in the Miner status page.

Do i need to either direct my slush pool proxy or do i have to run cgminer or something in order to start mining?

[EDIT]
Ok it was the DHCP client. I wasn't hitting switch protocol. But now that one is running i can no longer access the config page... Atleast its hashing.

[EDIT]
Ok, finally got to the config page again. Now to work out how to over clock.

[EDIT]
These things are bloody awesome! So easy to setup. So easy to over clock. And from what I can see so stable.

I'm currently facing a problem with my Block erupter blade v2,would appreciate some help.
I was mining at btcguild with bfgminer without any problems for 2-3 months, however, when I try to mine now,the blade is much slower, even though all the chips are marked as O on the configuration page.
I didn't change any settings, tinker with any hardware,or anything like that, other than buying and using a new router.
Thanks in advance.

Are you noticing any decrease in internet speed over anything else?
Nope,seems as crappy as usual.

Have you done a hard reset?

Running 10 blades with slush's stratum proxy on mac.
Works well with everything except coinex mining.
Can anyone help with the command to start it?

Ive tried
./mining_proxy.py -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinex.pw -p 9034
./mining_proxy.py -o tcp://stratum.coinex.pw -p 9034
./mining_proxy.py -o stratum.coinex.pw -p 9034

all either stall or cannot connect.

Thanks guys

Any your server address is the ip address of your laptop?

When going to the config page don't forget to add :8000 to the end. As that is the open port. e.g. 192.168.1.100:8000
