A large number of orphaned staking rewards over the past week. 5 to be exact. Seems unusual. Anyone have an idea of why?

Anywhere that i can find out more about chbt and dls? I've read the site (and looks extremely deep) but would like to see what the community is saying and having a hard time finding any info.

For some reason my staking amount seems to be about 25% of whats actually in my wallet.

For example:
Spendable: 100
Stake: 30
Total: 130


But I didn't ever designate coins to stake versus not.

Is this because some coins are not mature yet? or...

Also, does the wallet need to be open to be staking? Im looking back through the thread and it seems like it might need to be? Thanks for any clarifications.

Blog is not that active. Assume the dev's are heads down but would like to see the project activity surfaced a bit more.

And to be clear, im a holder. And i like the project for what i know of it.

I read somewhere (and I can't find it now) that as new units of storage are added, existing byte holders receive some amount of commission on the new units purchased.

Is this detailed somewhere? Random distribution, equal distribution based on amount held?

Does this incentivize early adoption?
