WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW

Looks like a strong and professional team. One of the first positive signs of a serious project is that every team member has a link to their linkedin profile. Earlier ICOs just had drawn characters with names underneath them so you could never really see who the team members really were.
What else is interesting, this is not your regular “down with the banks” project approach. Blockchain exchanges should assist and work with centralized institutions and not go against them. Eventually, the monetary landscape will change and it’s the projects, which are working together with institutions would get the widest acceptance. It is nice to see that the platform will also be aimed at institutional and accredited investors. There isn’t enough available in this space for large players. Even places, like Binance and Bitfinex does not offer proper custodial services. I am hoping that you will be on of the first few to the market with those products and services
Finally, It's a good idea to do an airdrop to increase traffic and attract attention to already good project.

Immersion cooling project for GPU miners (CryoCage)
by

hi guys. I have been lurking and reading about all types of rigs people use for mining and realized that there is no real solution for immersion cooling. there had been some experiments here and there but it was mainly done by hobbyists. I run a tech company specializing in web/app/hardware/software electronics development and all of my employees have a lot of hand-on experience in many tech fields. I thought I'd allocate some budget and some brain power and see what happens. This is non commercial product at the moment. We are just trying to see what's what. If the results are good and we come up with some worthy inventions, it may turn into commercial product at a later point.

For now, we'll buy some hardware, we will overclock the GPUs to see the limits and get the baseline readings. Next we will design a specific enclosure around this setup and run some simulations in SolidWorks to see how we can remove any hotspots, even out the oil flow, and calculate the minimum amount of oil we can use to achieve the desired results. Finally, we will build a sample box and submerge our rig and see how much more we can overclock it with oil cooling. We will track the changes in power consumption as well. I'll post the updates as we go.

Here is the question. We were going to use 6 x 1070 cards to experiment with but I am noticing that many miners run whatever cards they can get their hands on based on price and availability. So now I want to run 3 x 1070 cards and pick 3 other popular cards on the market (3 x 1080 or 3 x anything). What should we test with?

Re: Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v3.9

I have set everything up and followed the instructions pretty closely.
Miner starts with Admin rights, here is the string:
C:\Users\retro\Documents\CryptoEasyMiner\CryptoNoteMiner.exe -o stratum+tcp://us-etn-pool.hashparty.io:7777 -u etnkMV3TAK5M3Q8g6Zk2DbgXpaxyCsqRT3PkXH9NLiQXRdz3nqGedwpNkY12nChjVsJWWgFHk8bpW1o MwumUVy7L3tyUMbgZ6x -p x

Intel i7-7700HQ 16GB RAM getting 38 H/s using 25% of the processing power.

When I mine with my GFX Card I am getting 450 H/s.

Can you give me any advise on how I can fix this?

Try to use -t 4  param. I have i7-4720HQ and 16Gb RAM, which mines at about 150-200 and goes down to 110-120 when I use my computer for work (business needs, not heavy load like 3d rendering or so). So your speed is abnormal.
35-50H/s is ok for old i5-3xxx but not for your CPU

Thanks for the advise. I am running it on 4 threads already and its not helping any. Tried to add -t 4 and the speed is still down.

You could up the amount of processing power you are giving. Let it run at 80-90% and youll see higher H/s rates. Wouldnt expect the world out of it though as the benchmarks ive seen show 150-200 H/s

Well, it's not even using the processing power I have. I should be seeing at least over 200H/S with my setup. There is just something not set up right on my end.
