Re: Features to favor ICO
by
revCrypto
on 18/06/2018, 11:06:41 UTC
When researching about ICO I found some very good alternatives, but to make a decision, what should I take in consideration ?

You know what, for me, I think most ICO's/alt coins will die in five years and the ones that really have a usecase will prevail much like the top websites right now and the millions of websites that died.
What I'm doing right now is finding the ICO's that can give me a good ETH roi since ETH will probably one of the few that will survive(we may never know though). If there is one factor that attracts my attention is that the ICO must have a scarcity of buyers, what do I mean you say? Some ico's limit their whitelist participants and some filter them through lottery, with this, more buyers are not able to buy/invest and forcing them to wait for exchange(dex or not). This kind of ico creates a lot of FOMO and in turn gives good roi's. One more thing I observe is the bounty campaign, if the ico has ton of bounty tokens to give, then expect the dump the moment it becomes tradable so basically, no airdrop, no bounty, the better.

Re: Crypto Exchanges: Crypto vs Fiat
by

Which exchange do you guys think is the best if I want to exchange both crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto? Best in terms of everything (fees, security, time...etc

thank you

There's really no best exchange, it depends on your usecase, if you are an avid trader, airdropper, bountyhunter, then you most likely will have different crypto exchanges cause some of the coins you earn are only being traded on some exchanges, if you are just a casual trader, use binance for low fees. for crypto to fiat, use coinbase, or better yet go peer to peer transactions.

Re: Why do ICO's make Airdrops?
by
revCrypto
on 09/04/2018, 11:52:16 UTC
I have seen icos that gave too much airdrops to the point of having so many dumpers when their token is unlocked and being traded on DEX's. The result, the price go below ico. You have to really think about this, when you join an ICO and want to buy/contribute, you must check if they give airdrops. After that you must evaluate or ask around or DYOR if their airdrop is too good to be true and just so many.

Lost Bitcoins
by
revCrypto
on 22/02/2018, 11:22:28 UTC
When will we hit a critical point at which there's just too many lost bitcoins due to someone loosing their wallets, dying or corrupted hard drives and etc? At some point this is bound to happen right?
I know that for the time being, low circulating supply means that the coin will increase in value but how low can it get before it starts to give diminishing returns and actually inflict damage to the system? What would happen to crypto in general if all of the coins and altcoins will suffer the same ending?

Re: full-time cryptocurrency

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?

No, as you are starting you will experience a lot of situations were you will feel overly happy and overly depressed, without a steady income, you may end up homeless.

As an advice, start to build experience and strategy, once you have a working routine on how you gain money and once your crypto gains exceed your salary by a huge amount, then you may start to plan your retirement. PLAN it first before committing, good luck.

What crypto currency/utility token do you think will last?
by
revCrypto
on 13/02/2018, 08:58:15 UTC
With the rise of ICOs and countless of tokens being produced for utility and transactions, who among them do you think will last until the bubble pops?
I think is would be wise to invest in such things right from the start, or is it possible that the king of crypto hasn't even born yet?

just a question.  how do you get with an air drop

Just fill up every airdrop you see, but one rule for airdrops is to not donate.

Keep calm, and have a coffee, said me a trader when lemhan and half  financial world collapsed in 2008. He said "Don't follow your ideas, follow the market! Remember that as the world goes, there will always be something to eat ".

Nothing could be more true!

If you are a trader, a real trader, you  will make your fortune when the market goes down and others sell! Short all & buy at discount. The sales time is starting

Checking the history of btc since 2016 and 2017, a crash like this is normal, actually this crash is lower than 2016 and 2017, if this doesn't make you buy and invest, I don't know what will.

Re: China is blocking all the Crypto-Currency Exchange sites and ICOs
by

China is reportedly aiming to block all websites, both domestic and foreign, related to cryptocurrency trading and initial coin offerings (ICOs) in what could be the country’s final crackdown on the industry. - CCN

What are your thoughts about this?
Is this the reason why Bitcoin and Altcoins are drowning in Bloodbaths since late January?

Another FUD coming in, we have seen this before, FUD comes in, market crashes, then FUD turns out to be fake, market recovers. These series of events really gives you the perspective on how manipulated the world is in every way.

As long as you convert your crypto to fiat, we will never go mass adoption

People! please don't look at crypto as an ez money maker, and please don't convert to fiat, I would suggest to USE it rather than spend it.
The next time you pay for something, always encourage them to accept crypto. If they refuse, then so be it, but what you're doing is the effort so that many people will hear about it, and maybe the next time someone asked them to receive payment through crypto, maybe they will change their mind and try it.

This is how your transfer the market cap from fiat to blockchain and this is how you realize true gain, your 10 coins valued at let's say 100$ can go to the moon if more people would switch to crypto.
Please please please, we want a future with just peer to peer txion, F the middle man!

Re: MyEtherWallet Password

The password which you type initially doesnt really matter as long as you saved your private key, if you remember that you opened that wallet once, then theres a good change that you have your UTC formatted json key in your laptop because MEW will only let you enter the priv key to open the wallet once you downloaded your utc json file.

Don't chase those altcoin gains when they are already post ICO
by
revCrypto
on 24/01/2018, 15:44:50 UTC
Recently I realize that I was chasing these x2 x3 altcoin moons, sometimes I get good gains and sometimes I get just'd. Then I discovered ICO's and totally got a different view on crypto gains.
Imagine this, if I were able to buy the tokens at ico price and then hold, then the moment they moon, those people that are chasing x2 x3 gians on my token will only be gaining a fraction of what I will gain, also they are risking it because the pumps can correct and dump really hard. While me on the other hand is sitting comfy on my rock bottom entry.

As long as I do my due diligence in researching ICOs, definitely I will almost never loose money.

Bluzelle is on the higher ranks when talking about Q1 2018 icos, although the whitelist is already over, maybe you can wait until it lists on an exchange, I think goNetwork is still on wl, maybe you can join.

Re: Coin Burn?
by
revCrypto
on 08/01/2018, 13:42:29 UTC
Definitely, once the excess number of a coin is burnt the supply reduces. Supply and demand play a big role in the value and price of a commodity, including cryptos. Expectedly, as this coin is burnt now the price will increase as there will be fewer coins left and demand will seem increased. Yes, price will go up.

Do all the burned coins are owned by the devs? or some coins owned by someone will also be burned?
