Looking for Hosting Customers
by
revolution82
on 25/02/2021, 17:49:11 UTC
Looking to connect mining customers with a quality data center operator in USA, west coast.

They are a quality company that has been mining for over 5 years and have space available for newer generation hardware. They are offering space for $.05 kWh all in and there is a $.002 referral fee I am asking from them for bringing customers. So all in cost is $.052.

They have a minimum 2 MW customer size and are able to take up to 6 MW currently.

PM if interested.

These people had no idea what they're doing. They never stood a chance to survive. If you know anything about commercial scale mining, you don't use massive amounts of interior switch and step down transformers. If you know what you're doing, you step it down at the transmission line through the correct Transformer application. It's sickening that rank amateurs like this get this kind of money and opportunity. There will be many more of these forthcoming as the weak amateurs get beaten down for poor management of cost and infrastructure. Riot Blockchain in CO. will be on this list soon. Another massive overextended data center in OK City. 120,000.00 sq ft and they air condition their facility for cooling ASIC miners. They also held almost all the BTC they've mined and got slaughtered on the break. Complete idiots.

Sean Walsh was the CEO of hyperblock until very recently when he resigned and called due a note against the business. It is pretty apparent that there is no actual intention of selling the value of the facility just eliminating any value to Hyperblock and those equity holders. Basically the former CEO and founder offers goes public, takes investor money, runs the company into the ground, resigns, calls some dubious note due and then uses that note to claim any value. At that point Walsh will restart operations with 100% control, only the gear that is profitable, and a trail of shocked and disappointed investors in the wake.

Please PM me if you have units for sale I am looking for Avalon 1047s MOQ of 50+. Paying in the $155-$220 range depending on quantity, condition, location.

Thanks and shoot me what you've got and what you are asking if other models.

-No Brokers Please- already working with several outside of this add to find servers. This is a stab at connecting directly with Buyer as margins are already very thin for everyone.

I saw an article, that I can't find at the moment.

Basically it was saying that the 3 nm would also change the physical properties of how the gateways worked instead of being on one surface it would be designed like a square tube and all four sides would act as pathways.

I am slaughtering this description, can anyone explain these design upgrades to help the rest understand or if I am out in my own world?

What is James Goodwin up to these days. It doesn't look like he is still with the law firm.

Is the company GND still operating at either location or have they shut down operations?

https://shopminersonline.com/ is trying to have a "closeout sale" to entice less wary victims. Beware!

I am interested in purchasing the S9s only. I would want to pick them up from Gigawatt and not wait for them to ship. Let me know if this works for you and we can do a deal quickly with gigawatt acting as escrow.

Thanks

Pangborn Update 29 June 2018

This week our engineers and team worked on finishing the ground grid and lining up excavation and construction companies to come in.  Electricians were onsite locating and marking the new locations for the conduit that will need to be ran and the backfilling and removal of soil in our new location for our switchgear.  We had plans to have a crane lift the switchgear on its pad to be moved the 12 feet, but the electricians did not believe that this was a solution that would suit them.  Since our plans have changed for the location of our switchgear we will have to move back and replace the concrete pad that it sits on as well as rewire it all and retest it.  That will entail removing all connections, pulling the switchgear apart, moving it and reassembling it in its new position.  Scheduling, preparing and finalizing our site for the coming weeks of changes and finishing up to get these last pieces resolved was paramount in our progress going forward. Looking ahead to next week we will begin digging a new trench for the switchgear, cut the concrete for the conduit to be ran and have most of the excavating and backfilling done.  Once our Switchgear and pad are moved and poured we can have our final testing done on our ground grid.  We should be seeing the PUD on site in the next week to place their new pole, frame and temp medium voltage breaker for the mobile substation.

 Shocked

Why give an update saying something will be done in a certain period with out any clue if it will or not. Just had a report that not one thing has been done in more than a month. Local electricians say they wouldn't touch this job with a 10' pole. What a mess!

Never.... and even when a pod finishes they simply say, "this pod is not suitable for your hardware" it's a complete rip off Angry

Quote from: Giga-Watt Scam
Hello

No exact dates are available to us to provide to you for reasons set forth in updates.  Power coming on is not at our discretion, this is a municipality that controls the power coming online and our updates and information provided to you are only as good as what is conveyed to us. Targeted dates have been changed with us several times. We have reported current information at any given time based on the facts. We choose to be transparent about the evolving landscape of where power build out and deployment is at and understand the frustration with moving targeted dates.

I can assure you that all current energy and focus for the whole of Giga Watt is on the deployment of miners.  We have several pods deployed and ready and are simply waiting for power connection to bring them online.
Pity, this is really a bad situation.  Their biggest fault is that they stated definite deployment terms in White Paper.  It was better to mention in every promise that they don't take responsibility for the officials' actions, so people would clearly uderstand the risks.

Cuteman are you paid by Giga Watt? Their biggest fault is that they lie and continue to lie to customers and token holders every day. This is causing so much damage beyond the financial loss it is eroding trust in early believers of crypto and blockchain. Just when we get some momentum we get these shady russian backed companies that set the whole ecosystem back! If you are being paid by Gigawatt to keep cheerleading just admit to that and step up and take responsibility we are all early innovators otherwise we wouldn't be here. WE CAN HANDLE THE TRUTH. What we can't handle is being left in the dark and given half truths (lies). Just quit with the smoothing and give it straight. Did Gigawatt not know that there are inspections as part of construction? Did they not understand that there is a process for every industrial customer to bring a project online? There are tons of data centers in your area including Microsoft. Don't give us the "officials are picking on us, so we are screwing customers story". You guys are just exhausting the community, tell us the challenges and let us decide if things are 6 months delayed give us that information as soon as you know it so we can make decisions for ourselves.
