6 290's, XFX "black edition" cards  Grin
OMG someone finally gets it. Vertically mounted blower fans. I've been saying for a while this would be the absolute ideal fan-direction orientation.

BTW, I don't know how you'd do this and still mount them like you have, but when we took the PCI brackets off of our 290s, there was a significant temp decrease. It was about a 8C drop on our hottest card. You could hear and feel more air move out the back. I got a picture here:

What kinda settings do you use for 875? The best I could get was 850. And what's this about undervolting? Please link the thread?

Thanks! And kudos to the awesome rig!

Nice rigs both of ya, 6 x r9 290 is a beast rig lol

Re: Is it still worth mining bitcoin in 2018 ?

My question is if it's still worth buying Asic's and start mining BTC in 2018.

If not mine BTC what other coin is it worth to mine nowadays?
In addition to bitcoin there are many other currencies worth exploring. Litecoin is a coin worth exploring. Litecoin has a limited number of 84 million units, while the maximum number of Bitcoin is 21 million. In circulation there are about 54 million Litecoin and 16.7 million Bitcoins. Litecoin aims to reduce the time required for new transactions and refine Bitcoin's exploitation methods so that anyone can participate.

I think that people are just not aware of BTC's technology. It is a great platform with perspective future. I strongly hope that soon people will develop BTC more and use it in our  real life
Even the most technologically savvy of us also have a hard time finding out about Bitcoin. This currency is a hot topic and is discussed frequently in the investment community. So, there are a lot of things they should learn about it better.

I think bitcoin trading has many advantages over bank transactions. But in the current world situation, bitcoin is not dominant over the world banks. bitcoin trading has many new points, people need time to accept these new points

Bitcoin can still be the currency of the future. bitcoin prices and other coding currencies may have exploded. Bitcoin prices are currently around $ 6,400, down more than 50% since the beginning of the year and down 66% from a record $ 20,000 in December 2017. Bitcoin can later rise again. Blockchain technology has the potential to change the way many people pay for goods and services in the future.

Twitter May Ban Advertising of Cryptocurrencies and ICO?

Hi guys it`s me again, and again I saw this information about the ban, but now for twitter.

BTCTwitter plans to prohibit advertising of cryptocurrencies and ICO, according to Sky News citing sources.BTC

First Facebook then Google, now Twitter is joining, what do you think about the market currency after these news? Is it real or only a big fake news blow before buying a lot of crypto?

Source:http://icowatchers.co/twitter-may-ban-advertising-of-cryptocurrencies-and-ico/
After google facebook to twitter forbidden advertising virtual currency, Bitcoin prices plummeted. By this time, Bitcoin prices have fallen sharply compared to the beginning of the year. The advertising ban on virtual currency that Twitter launched is an important factor that made Bitcoin sell off aggressively

Re: How to make money off cryptocurrency?
by

I have been reading about exchanging sites. all of them have people who lost their money due to hacks, or investors got their accounts closed, frozen (Coindesk) without proper explanations, usually exchange sites let them deposit money, but they don't let them withdraw their money.

Kraken(some review sites list this is as one of the best exchange site, what a joke) is also a shit hole, the same thing, money and coins missing, buggy laggy website, no customer support.

How do you make money of cryptocurrency when the exchange sites are predators to hunt people's money? Decentralized trade sites maybe? If I read positive reviews about these centralized exchange sites , they doesn't seem genuine at all, most of the time, it looks like someone ordered them from Fiverr. Binance, Bitfinex with the Tether fiasco, Coinmama.... All of them looks like scummy attempt to get your money.
Most retailers often adopt a HODL strategy, a strategy of keeping a potential coin and waiting for a long-term growth. However, there are other monetization strategies that investors still overlook. It is Passive Income. There are several different types of electronic funds that currently offer dividends or payments of 5-10% per annum. These payments are paid in electronic currency, based on the growth of the currency over time.

And it will remain so for a long time.
No government, no parties can effectively ban it and put their hand on it. They would have to ban internet first. Not likely.
That would be the end of free world we know.
Bitcoin trading is unstoppable. If I have an Internet connection and agree to pay the fee of the network, nothing can stop me from sending Bitcoin to anyone I want. That is, Bitcoin has anti-censorship capabilities.

Most of the venture capitalists dumped their assets last winter, when Bitcoin and other ciphers set a record for value. After the recent price collapse, many of the coins have taken away huge amounts of money that investors have poured in since last winter. The bitcoin market is now very bleak

Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ?
by

on 07/06/2018, 02:46:30 UTC
I think there are people who buy bitcoin at the price of 19k. those who have bought bitcoins at the price of 19k then they are very loss if sell it at this time, I recommend to hold until bitcoin prices recover and reach 20k.
I was lucky not to buy bitcoin at the price of 19k, because if I bought bitcoin at that time then I was forced to hold my bitcoin in a long time until the price of bitcoin 19k or more than 19k.
At the moment it is hard for bitcoin to reach that price again. The virtual currency market is quite volatile but it does not have a surge. But I still hope the bitcoin will come back strongly later this year

Bitcoin, the most widely traded electronic money, has much slower transactions. At the time of the interview, Bitcoin's average transaction time was 42 minutes, while the ripple only took about 4 seconds. With this downside, Bitcoin is hard to become a global currency

Working on a school project and I'd like some great resources to help me with it. Important information I'm looking for is the 'advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin'. I would prefer credible resources which I can cite in the project, books are great if you know any.
I think you should find out information on famous sites. Also, you can join celebrity blogs like Vitalik Buterin, bitcointechtalk, Tuur Demeester. They can provide you with the most accurate information

On January 17, 2018, the energy consumption of this coded currency equaled the energy level of Peru.
Every day, new Bitcoin diggers will be involved in the verification process and add them to Blockchain. This not only increases the demand for electricity but also increases carbon emissions.

Bitcoin directly invests in countries with high inflation. The use of Bitcoin as a currency for developing countries currently experiencing high inflation is very valuable when considering the volatility of Bitcoin in these economies relative to the volatility of Bitcoin in dollars. . Bitcoin is much more volatile than USD. It's hard to use it as a means of payment

I can not know the exact time. But I spent all my free time researching bitcoin and many other electronic coins
You can show me how to research these currencies effectively. I spent a lot of time researching them, but I found that I did not have much effect, there are many problems I have not solved.
