First think to look at is the team behind the project, first of all you have to make sure that they have a good background so check their previous works, after that you can read the whitepaper to learn more about the project itself.

I think bitcoin will still be the kind of this year, ethereum seems to have lost it's value as a trading cryptocurrency, but it is still really useful as a platform, which is showed by the huge amount of projects using it at the moment.

Maybe you should aim just little quatities in various projects, you said you're new and that may lead you to making some bad decisions, which you eventually will have to make in order to learn something new, but it would be better if it is without too much risks involved.

First of all, try to do some research for the team behind the project, their background and everything you can, in order to avoid scammers in the first place, after that, you can focus on the project itself, read the whitepaper and everything that leads you to the understanding of it.

You should definitely look out for the whitepaper of the projetc, it will tell you what is the project about and you will then be able to tell if it fits your expectations and style.

Try both of them, I would personally buy ethereum and hold it for a long time, EOS also looks like a good option but it has less time in the field than ethereum.

Well, some people just like to hold a limited amount of types of coins in their wallets, it is helpful when you participate on alot of bounties for example, you generally get a high variety of coins which you are almost obligated to sell because they transform your wallet into a mess.

I think it is because ethereum had a great influence the moment it came out, and it still has it, considering that it's platform is being used extensively by ICOs to promote their projects using tokens, but still it's value as a cryptocurrency is not that big either, bitcoin is still the one that continues to grow even more.

I think they will never get stable, their nature is to be volatile and they will definitely continue to be like that for alot of time, if you ask me I'd prefer them to stay like that, they are currently offering alot of opportunities to investors.

I prefer to hold them as long as I can, since I'm aiming for long term investments, I can just hold it and focus on some other things, like bounty campaigns and airdrops, for example, or I can simply get a full time job.

I think ICO per se are a good method for investments, you invest in a project that hasn't been established, so you're there since the beginning, however the amount of scams out there are tremendous at the moment, so I'd rather limit myself to invest on the cryptocurrency market directly.

I'd rather hold them for some time, their value seems to grow slowly with time, so I think aiming for long term investments is the best thing you could do, you can even invest some spared money on altcoins in order to develop your portfolio.

You could make a list on google keep or google spreadsheet and indicate the name of the projects, the task you have to complete and the date you have to report to the team behind the project.

I generally hold them for a month or two to see first that they get listed on exchanges and second to see if their price and overall value goes up, but I generally don't hold them much longer than that.

I think that ICOs should be studied carefully, even more than cryptocurrencies, remember that they are unestablished projects, it means they haven't started yet and scammers could see that as an apportunity to take your money away from you, only invest when you are 101% sure that the project is legit.

Well, if you already invested on altcoins and bitcoin and are waiting for the profits to come, you can dedicate yourself to participate on bounty campaigns and aidrops, the pay isn't really that bad and they take like no time to complete.

I think the time of high prices has passed and we will need to wait a long time until the big pump comes once again, meanwhile you can take advantage of the low prices and buy while you can, the cryptocurrency market is still promising and could give you a good amount of profits too.

Bitcoin seems like a good option overall, it was the first cryptocurrency to appear on the market and it has been revolutionizing trading as we knew it, also it's price keeps rising even though it has experienced some drops.

I personally don't invest on ICOs, I think investing on projects that aren't established is more risky than investing on cryptos directly, so I would rather focus my money on more established business ideas.

I don't think so, you could have cryptocurrencies as a side job, it also depends on your style, if you prefer long term investments than the time spent by you would be smaller than day trading, but overall I insist in taking cryptocurrencies as a side job.
