NEW Wallet: Install Instructions
Make a Zeitcoin folder under C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\
Then Extract and copy the files from ZeitcoinBlockchainSnapShot.rar into
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin
Then open Zeitcoin and it will start syncing the BlockChain from the last snapshot.

ACTIVE Wallet:Install Instructions ,
(Be sure to have a backup of your Wallet.dat 1st)
Make sure Zeitcoin is closed
Go under c:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin (for Windows) or in the Zeitcoin data folder for other OSes
Then Delete 5 files : .lock & blk0001.dat & blk0002.dat & db.log & debug.log
Then Delete 2 folders named : database & txleveldb
Then Extract and copy the files from ZeitcoinBlockchainSnapshot.rar  into
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin
Then open Zeitcoin and it will start syncing the BlockChain from the last snapshot.

Once your Zeit Wallet is completely Synced.
Check your Balance, if the Balance is incorrect.
Click on Help, click Debug Window, click Console,
type in repairwallet and hit enter, then check your Balance
If Balance is still not correct.
Then From a Command Prompt run zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan
will take a little while but should correct your balance info.

ZEITCoin Holders should start monitoring this topic on a weekly basis.

Discussion have begun of a swap to new code.

If the swap does take place it will only last for 30 days.

Swap will be optional, but no further support will be available for the old chain after swap.
So if you plan to stay behind, plan on being the only one supporting the old chain.

I got the latest snapshot, but can't for the life of me get even 1 connection to the network even after multiple days.

I think the one I remember had "mint" in the name... the owner ran off with tons of coins if I recall.

I wonder if it's related to an exchange that took/stole/went under several years ago?  I lost some ZeitCoin on one back then, can't recall the name off hand, but there's been a few where we were sure someone made off with a lot of coins.

vow.  803 pages for this coin and the price is 1-2 satoshi. Price is not a direct measure of a good project but its something.

Question for the community, at what time frame should we place them on the Do not Trade List like yobit , if they are not allowing deposits or withdrawals to their zeit wallet.

Sent few Zeit to test from CoinExchange to computer wallet (new wallet) and it didnt arrive. Any known incompatibility? It show as complete but tx is 1... Weird

Between now and August 11 , Exchanges will be taking the wallets offline to update to the new ULI version.
It looks like Nova is updating to the new version today.

Make sure they are in sync before sending coins to them.
Click on Status link https://tradesatoshi.com/Status and compare their Zeitcoin Block # with the Block explorer.

Last look their sync was only up to late Nov 2014.
So it will probably be 3 or 4 days before they are fully synced and ready to trade zeitcoins.
