Re: You want the bear market to stop? Here are some things you can do :)

The word trend was once that gave us a very big profit, i agree with you that this will probably be our baseline or worse $3000 . As of today less people tend to buy btc becaue many people already purchased...as time goes by the price will definitely be stable compared today. As btc will be destributed thoroughly ,which means that only few people would sell their btc because they can use it anyway in the market, and only few people would buy cause they already have, this may create balance which will result to the equilibrium cost of btc. I hope it will happen sooner.

As of today ,i cant really say if its safe anymore to risk. There are many people who have lost interest because of the low value of bitcoin, but who knows? one day the graph might start to go up.

Re: How to avoid bitcoin scams (for newbies)
by

Bitcoin is a unique and trendy topic when it comes to mind especially when it comes to profits and earnings that many of us can get. Therefore many
newbies get interested and becomes prone to scammers. So here are some of the tips I learned from my friend that I wish to share:

Tip #1 Fake and imitation wallets and exchanges
To start with, as someone who is new to bitcoin you will have to deposit your money, right? Therefore you must exchange your $$$ to BTCBTCBTC. But how do we deposit w/out being scammed or hacked? Well, for me it's best to use the well-known exchanger. Here are some w/ their own pros and cons:

Coinbase
+ easy to use and set up, gdax is a friendly interface
+ seem to be fewer problems withdrawing money than other exchanges
 - tends to go down during traffic spikes
 - limited to BTC/ETH/LTC
 - randomly shutting down accounts/customer service

Poloniex
+ highest volume for many coin pairs
 - lots of complaints about withdrawing money
 - goes down periodically (went down for 3 days in August)

Bittrex
 + lots of currency pairs
 + reliable, never goes down
 - clunky interface

Kraken
+ seem to be fewer problems withdrawing
 - slow to get verified
 - very slow during peak traffic

Bitfinex
 + nice interface
 - seem to be withdrawing problems
 - customer service
 - no support for USA customers after October 2017

Gemini
 + low fees
+ available in more locations (Washington state, New York)
 - takes long time to register

Liqui
 + easy to use
 - can't withdraw fiat currency
 - seem to be problems withdrawing currency sometimes

Binance
 + good customer service
 + low transfer fees
 + gives gas for neo
 - slow under heavy load

Tip #2 Never trust anyone
Someone would probably chat you through various social media. Well, don't trust anyone, it's best to block them ASAP especially when they will teach you how to earn a lot easily. There's no easy money here. And lastly, don’t send money or bitcoin anywhere unless you know exactly who you’re sending it to.

Tip #3 Virus and malware downloads
This is the most common and the most easy way of hacking today when we download applications that contain malware and virus. As always, you shouldn’t click on unknown email attachments or potentially dangerous links.

But there are ways to secure your security even if you have downloaded malware/virus in your PC or phones.
-Use two-factor authentication
-Use a “cold” offline wallet. A “hot” wallet is one that’s connected to the Internet, while a “cold” wallet is one that’s held offline.

you should be able to know about these two ways if you want to secure your bitcoin wallets.

Tip #4 Common sense
This is probably the best tip I can give, always use your common sense before making your decision. If you buy, then know what or how you should be able to buy it safely, or even trading money. Never believe on too-good-to-be-true opportunities and lastly, always do a research about everything you haven't known yet. Bitcoin is very complex and requires you to keep on learning, avoiding to get scammed is part of it.

If you have any addition to these common tips i gave please let us know .Let's help each other especially those who are still new to this environment.

Good advice. I'll remember these tips from now on. I wish you can also post about earning using bitcoin, I know for sure that you already know some tips just as what you have said above.

Re: Why is Bitcoin making the world go crazy?

Mining is one key factor why many people got crazy about it. Most tools are on demand and because of this the prices of mining tools rose up too. They love how they can earn passively.

Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies

Yes, thats true. Invest only what you can afford to lose. But some people just took the hype out of it. They invested more and expecting a lot in the future. They dont focus on other opportunities instead they are just watching the graph, made them passive . For me the best way is to invest a little and find some other ways to earn. Thats it.

There are so many companies adopting bitcoin as a mode of payment already. Hence more people will buy bitcoin to purchase their those products. lets just be patient for now. We might not know the date when bitcoin will rise again but i know its not too long.

Yesterday I also read about that car company accepting bitcoin as payment. Well, it only means that it is getting popular on business today. I hope it will continue to influence other companies too.

The only thing needed to know are the factors affecting the price change, some of them can be seen in news via television or internet. We need these factors/information to atleast see something to happen in the future price of bitcoin.

Good step for bitcoin and its community, it only means that BTC has been progressing in terms of popularity. I hope that other companies will also follow them, slowly but surely we'll be able to use bitcoin on other products.

Most women are good in interacting people, thus giving them opportunity to day trade and earn profit just like men do. I have few names that have invested a lot in this market.

before telling them this, ask them 1st if they are willing to learn. If not, then let them be. Because no matter how eager you persuade they won't accept your opinion at all.

It won't be easy to have insurance using BTC as modification of payment. Government won't easily agree on this matter. If there exists a project like this then it should be accepted by government and be paying taxes to them which is hard to achieve.

Everything is just part of a graph. We can never say it's the comeback or not because its just a curve with a small difference. The only comeback I know is when it hits $20,000 in one or two months.

That would be a good news, but a bad one for those who sold their btc a while ago. For me, theres no point on selling your coins today because you invested on this volatile and unpredictable market. If you risk then risk till you get a profit.

i just don't know how the trend wasn't able to keep on its highest place. In the 1st place everything is starting to partner up with bitcoin and altcoins. Gaming community recently did the same strategy, I think someday after all these partnering part will be a good start again for bitcoin.

We cant be certain for now. But one thing is for sure, whenever there is a price reduction it affects everyone, it's like a chain that continues gradually. The only thing that will stop this is if there will be people who will buy these cheap coins as of today. Then the chain will definitely stop.

Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ?
by
richardson1128

Suddenly not. Fiat is the most convenient way for most people in terms of buying/selling physically so it cannot be replaced, maybe it will but not today. And most probably it will no longer be named as bitcoin when that time comes.
