Yup, to really stop gambling you need a very strong personality and ability to control yourself, as well as avoiding anything that can trigger your addiction back again, Even avoiding sport TV games if you did sport betting or card games if you did poker..

Self-correction of bitcoin price is a normal phenomenon and the drops can be even larger than that, this isn't unique to bitcoin as Forex, Stocks and all investments can have drops like these, Over long term though, IMO bitcoin is a profitable investment.

Everyone can select the fees they want, you can pay 28 s/byte or 200/byte and probably get confirmed with both but of course, later and with very less priority.
fee is determined by us bitcoin users and how much we offer, I think that is a fair way to calculate it.

Yes i think there is a relation because of bitcoin nature as an anonymous currency usable online and offline it might have increased some online crimes like cross-continent drug dealing and with no ID's and evidence.  And so some criminals had the idea of using bitcoins to use bitcoin in their crimes.

Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins?
by

The answer is definitely related to a trezor or a hardware wallet, very secure and made to keep and store bitcoins so it is the ultimate well-prepared bitcoin wallet, the advantage over paper wallet is that the money is quickly accessible.
That is a big investment so if someone is storing that much doing own research is necessary.

Bitcoin payments can work very much IMO and rather than just scanning a CC then the device will scan a hardware wallet and authorizing a transaction, The bitcoin system can allow a perfect payment interface.
Regarding confirmation, The risk is much lower than bitcoin fraud and the system can automatically ask for higher fees, reducing double spend risk to almost zero.

Ethereum drop isn't a normal but a corrective one, considering how much HYIP people spread ETH that led many to invest in it and later walk away with the instability and issues that are even worse than bitcoin.
Bitcoin crash is regular and is of small value that will recover mostly, other crypto's follow bitcoin direction since mostly are priced in bitcoins.

Re: Why should people use Bitcoin?
by
rickbig092
on 29/06/2017, 09:24:31 UTC
People should used bitcoin cause of the promise it shows of being the currency of the future and the leading international currency at sometime in the future, the more direct advantage would be the ease of use and getting better terms on websites (with bitcoin being merchant friendly).

Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?
by
rickbig092
on 29/06/2017, 09:10:35 UTC
I don't think -even with bitcoin flourishing- that banks will disappear, banks will always be on top of the economical chain and that would be the primary option of the people, many people will start using bitcoin, but as a secondary one, as banks are also important for businesses and for lending (which is the fuel of economical development) and bitcoin offer no solution to replace that.

Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ?
by
rickbig092
on 29/06/2017, 09:04:10 UTC
bitcoin is a good investment for long term holding and if you an afford to lose a portion of the investment and still hold in my opinion, previously, even with the major falls in price the recovery happens after a while and even those buying at $1100 a year ago are now in big profit if they held and did not sell, this is not guaranteed though so it is a high risk investment.

This is everyone's own right, You can't ask someone to invest money in something... Anyway I don't recall hearing an official statement neither a report about this so he might or might not be investing, Not everyone like sharing their personal investing profiles even Billionaires...
