Is their programme forcing users to set "Website" to "bountyhive.io" on bitcointalk ?
There are plenty of (fake?) users with that value set. Some of them are involved in the listex.io, touristcoin and other scam projects.

@Cryptobenn : I suspect you to be linked with listex.io scam team.

Are you the team leader ?

I am not linked, I am also currently "victim" : I belong to the FREE coin team, we paid 0.5 BTC for listing on Listex.io, but are unable to WITHDRAW from the exchange. Our current damage of funds stuck on listex.io : 0,5 BTC listing fee, 0.034 different crypto, 7 Billion FREE coins ...

The technical team is the same as the team for Tourist Coin (TOU), and is headed by Salvatore Castagne (I got this confirmed by the ADMIN of Tourist Coin, after multiple complaints from my side)

Does this Salvatore Castagne really exist ?

Hi pool sexy team,

Please close your touristcoin pool to stop contributing to touristcoin, listex.io and few others coins/websites that are part of a huge scam project.
You can find many topics and testimonies on this forum about listex.io and TOU

Thanks

Seems like deposit et withdrawal of touristcoin works. The trap is that TOU rate is higher on listex so people will mine and convert TOU on listex.
Then, you will have a USD or BTC balance that you will never be able to withdraw.

Be careful with peatio. You have www.peatio.tech and www.peatio.com . On the first one, they say to belong to Helios Technologies located in France but nothing indicates it is true.

=> Never pay financial services with cryptocurrencies.

Re: Listex.io is scam

Agree, stay away from this mass scam project.

Sent small amount of ETH 2 days ago, nothing appears on their website.

The team behind this scam is also linked to touristcoin and peatio.
Other sites probably exist.

They create fake conversations to make you trust them (https://github.com/peatio/peatio/issues/774 & https://github.com/peatio/peatio/issues/747)
go-apollyon, touristcoin, mxo2 and maybe other users in these conversations are all from the same team.

Based on testimonies: they ask for cryptocoin payment for all services you ask them (service you won't get).

So, again STAY AWAY FROM ALL SERVICES FROM THIS TEAM.
I didn't analyzed the source code but they may have implemented a backdoor to steal money.

After this post, one or more accounts will probably reply and say few positive words about listex.
But if you don't believe me, you are free to try it and see the money disappearance magic.

I have sent a small amount of ETH few days ago => Nothing appears on listex balance.
If no answer from listex.io and no solution, has to be considered as a SCAM as suggested by other users!

Re: how to most effciently reduce noise?

Keep ETH.
Venting with external silent fans and fresh air is a solution.

If outside temperature is high, you may use "ttli" in claymore to set a much more lower temperature but you will have reduced hashrate because of claymore limiting the work load.

In windows, afterburner is also a good solution.

Edit: You can also raise distance between GPUs and air blow the dust

Rigproxy's free DNS service (BCT post here) is the solution for mining rig because of windows that can do whatever it wants to do even when update services and parameters are disabled.

Advice : as we currently only have one server running (others have been temporary disabled), please use :
- rigproxy server (92.222.144.203) as main DNS on your rig
- your local router's or google's 8.8.8.8 as second server

Claymore deserves dev fee, if you can you should develop a better sw than it.

Do you have licences for all your softwares ?
Havent you ever cracked a software ? Never used a windows os license belonging to an other person ?
Never used a keygen ? Nor a crack ?
And do you think claymore never used a cracked software ?

Re: RigProxy[.com] - Mining Proxy+DNS Service for optimized mining experience

UPDATE ** Well, stale shares started going from avg 12-13 to 18, even 22. Guess that was it for me.
Hi, I am sorry to hear that.

Can you confirm that your IP is 7x.1xx.2xx.71 and that you don't have multiple IPs so I can better check the logs ?

A quick search in logs gives me the following mining periods (UTC+2 time):

Rig1 online from 16:03:40 to 16:15:23
Rig2 online from 16:03:43 to 16:15:39
then
Rig1 online from 22:05:12 to 23:48:03
Rig2 online from 22:08:42 to 23:50:23

The mining period is really short to see anything, but based on data from ethermine :

- As you said, I see a stale share percentage around 2.0% (1.7%-2.4%) before 16:00 (direct mining)
- 2.0%-3.6% when partially mining with rigproxy (from 16:00 to 16:20)
- 2.9%-4.8% when partially mining with rigproxy (from 22:00 to 23:50)
- 2.0% to 7.4% when direct mining (16:30-21:50 and 00:00-00:30).

Between 17:20 and 22:10 the chart also shows a 30MHs lower than usually reported hashrate.

Good luck with the service

Thank you

---
Trying RigProxy over a period of 24hours won't cost anything. If you have a good connection to the pool, you may have no enhancement or low enhancement. In this case, you have no reason to stay if you are only looking for network optimization. The only way to know if you get benefit from RigProxy is to try and see.

If you can deliver shares to ethermine within let say 10ms but rigproxy server is 15ms away, the server can't recover the 5ms.
A pictorial explanation would be : when you need to go 10km away from your home, it is not necessarily faster to take a highway 15km away.

Finally, my advice to all potential users who want to try the service :
Configure rigproxy as poolserver and use direct connection to pool as your first failover (use retrydelay 1 and lower the default 30min of ftime to 5-10), add a second failover if you have none in case the pool goes completely offline.

Hi,

Welcome to rigproxy (and forum).

Quote from: eduardjs
Ok, pointed 2 rigs. Will compare the 2% stale shares I got while running Claymore normally on ethermine. If it gets lower than average ( which it should ), then my second hope is this wouldn't outright get daily downtimes.
There is no reason for disappointement if the network delay from your rigs to rigproxy is comparable to (or lower than) the delay between rigs & ethermine.

Quote from: eduardjs
Will set a failover to the original pool just in case.
That's the good thing to do. Already happened that a datacenter goes completely offline.

Happy mining by our side

Using the IP as a part of the command line was required for usage of our service.

This was leading to troubles on rigs :
- with dynamic IP (some users were thinking their IP static but it wasn't and changed abruptly)
- with failover ISP lines (some of them being mobile data lines).

Dynamic IP rigs may now also use our service.
The "=RP" value as password parameter is the new requirement for all users/rigs

For examples, see the first post or our website www.rigproxy.com

Hello everyone, 3 days ago I connected to their proxy service, I use nanopool for mining, the first thing I liked was that the ping dropped from 90-95 to 50-55, and the statistics on the pool became less aggressive, smoother, also surprised - average hashrate is now very rarely lower than reported. I recommend this. (sry for my bad english)

Thanks Soliqesh for your review. Feedbacks from our users are essential for our project.

Happy mining
