I notice that the EMA differences change historically.

Look:

I have not changed settings but the EMA settings change for the times.

Even the backtesting feature seem to think that it should have sold at $955.

18150.62% total return in one year according to backtesting - however it's not the reality. Sold me out at $910 this morning.

Here are the mails I recieved.

7:31 today:
EMA diff is at -0.214% (1 BTC = 910 USD) at btce.

A sell order is imminent!

Your friendly trading bot.

7:46 today:
EMA diff is at -0.354% (1 BTC = 912.711 USD) at btce.

A sell order was triggered!

Your friendly trading bot.

Since my sell thresholds are:
Sell threshold 1: 0.062
Sell threshold 2: 0.095

I belive the bot should have sold at 6:01 at the price of $981.40 since both threshold 1 and 2 had been met at the time:/ Instead it sold me out at $910. Also those emails I get.. I cannot find those EMA differences in the list.. -0.214 and -0.354 is not in the list as you can see.

Hi Pablo

I'm running on UTC+1 but not sure I understand why that would delay a possible sale/buy? Dosen't the bot just buy when the EMA thresholds has been met regardless of the computer time?

I've had it work fine with the suggested settings for BTC-e earlier.

And you have mail btw:)

Butter Bot owner here but little frustrated.

My bot does not currently buy/sell when a given threshold has been reached. Maybe it's due to me playing around with the short and long EMA range and mine are far from normal, but still ..

I'd like someone from Butter Bot to have a look at it, but do not wan't to share my setting in public.

No activity on Skype which is one of the contact options listed on the page.

You could PM me a screenshot of the bot's status, maybe I could help? I don't care to use your settings if that's your worry.

When you see a dark red Difference, it should sell, and a dark green would be buy/hold. Make sure the API key you setup has the proper permissions (trade & info) as well.

It actually does sell and buy... just not when it should. It's delayed so something is not right.

I think I need someone from Butter Bot to have a look at the logs.

Sorry for the loss for the OP, but I did the excact same thing. I cashed out earlier this year in the $120 range thinking it would stay there in that interval for a long time - boy was I wrong:(

As far as I can calculate those free uBTC is equillivant to $0.073 - $0.00073..

BTC going rate at btc-e is $727 atm.

Wouldn't it be better just trying to mine some?
