I really hope they burn some. The supply is insane. Then I can make some nice money since I bought at the lowest

It’s honestly so weird that the government always tries to work against something that could literally push our society forward.
But then again, they have their own business/agenda to run

Crypto is digital. When will physical assets be brought on chain?
by

It’s been an interesting 2 years for NFTs. With the wave of art (and now physical art), I’m wondering what the next use case is for crypto. I see the future of crypto as one that is interchangeable—where physical goods can be brought on chain. Think: being able to digitally verify/authenticate that you own your Rolex. And even broader, people that seek luxury goods are able to authenticate the goods that they product.
This is essentially a whole ecosystem. There are some companies working on this but they all seem to be very centralized. The only company I’ve come across that aims to be decentralized is 4K. Has anyone heard of any other ones aside from big web2 companies like StockX and Louis Vuitton?
Holy fuck remember casascius coins?? There was one that sold recently for 3.5x the peel value lol.
Alright which one of you whales sold it
Does anyone still have unredeemed ones? It looks like the platform it was sold (4K) on is now accepting and authenticating them too

Having a good working product is important for sure. There's other elements too it too such as regular community updates on the project as well as a soild team to back it up. The project Elixxir who is started by David Chaum is about to launch their betanet and although the product isnt 100% ready- it is definitely going to be promsing https://elixxir.io/

I would recommend people watch that video to . give a better explaination of what they're doing . Encrypted messaging app on top of digital payments will be pretty revolutionary for decentralization purposes. Isn't David Chaum mentioned in teh Bitcoin White Paper?
Cardano scales better than ethereum and it will have dapps that will cater for the finance industry (currently not possible with existing platforms). ADA is big in Japan and they are pushing forward with crypto currencies, it is worth holding some as it will pump at some point in the future
I would also look into Moac who has impressive scalability and microchain smart contracts for flexible smart contracts customization which might be limited on Cardano

The best software I've seen is Moac's. They just had a pretty big partnership with china mobile too to integrate with water purifier system. but I've heard their dapp deployment is simple and easy to customize

Re: Blockchain 3.0 Cryptocurrency- The next evolution
by

What makes this blockchain an evolution from 2.0? I don't think I've ever heard it be called that... just the evolution of the web. Is that to say they are intertwined? Blockchain and web 3.0?
I don't see the point of checking prices everyday unless you are trying to day trade. I prefer to just hold because I know the total marketcap of crypto will be in the trillions within a few years. I wouldn't say I'm excited about it, I'm just really interested in the technology and how it can change the financial world. If I want thrills I'll go ride a rollercoaster
I get sick of checking prices everyday. What we need is a crypto that is free of inflation, everyone seems to be pegging to something to compare price. I found ampleforth's protocol really interesting because it doesn't do that. tough to wrap your mind around at first but it also makes me excited to know i don't have to check price fluctuations daily.

Re: Who are some of your favorite artists and artwork?
Many people use The Tether[USDT] as there Safe ´´Wallet´´ so they Purchase it and Tether always keeps up the Same Price as you can see it doesnt really went down since 6 Months My Question about it Do you use Tether to?
Centralized and not in line with the goal of crypto. makes sense for most people but I don't see it sticking around forever.
Everyone keeps saying 2019 will be profitable for the crypto community... but in life I've had to learn things the hard way.. which makes me always want to look into things in 2 ways no matter the odds
What if 2019 is the beginning of another dump?? What would you do as a investor?? Wait till your portfolio goes to zero?? ... or sell whatever is left of it??
I think its a perfect time to do some deep diving into new and existing projects. As an investor I would look into projects that are growing. there's a couple I am keeping my eyes on because of the number of dapps they'll be adding this year. Moac claims to have 500 dapps this year so i've been watching that project. I also try not to obsess over price fluctuations and what the media says daily.
The fate of eth depends directly on the update. But still, at the moment, this platform is a market leader. Everyone else has even more problems within the project, as well as security problems.
I think everyone has security problems. What we need to do is utilize sharding for security AND speed, which I believe MOAC has
