I will choose polkadot then BSC, because of the developer if BSC is gavin wood. And the uses case for DeFi is more in polkadot then BSC. It will take time to create fulky functional system but dot will made it in the end.

There are many of us who do not know what is burning coins or tokens, so I will highlight the details for them today.
Coin or token burning is the removal or burning of a coin from its total supply. We can call coin burning the amount of coins that will be removed from the total supply of a coin.The main purpose of burning all coins is to reduce the amount of coins.
Suppose you burn ltc coins, now suppose LTC has a total supply of 100000000, now if you want to burn 20% coins of this project, they can burn coins slowly.

The result of burning coins is that they will reduce the amount of coins from the supply. As a result, the supply of that coin will decrease and the price of the coin will increase. We all know that 50% of the bnb coins were burned. And as a result, the price of bnb coins is much higher now.

- Stablecoins - to be replaced by CBDCs
- Lending platforms - Effectively banned or no different than banks.
- "Wrapped" bitcoins (WBTC) - still around, but limited utility.
- Prediction markets - are there any? Will likely be regulated as a security, in near future.

Defi is not dead. Decentralized Finance continues its technological growth and evolution. Most NFT and Gaming Platforms are Defi. It will continue to thrive and dominate crypto world. Not all projects will moon but that doesn't mean Defi is dead in general. There are hidden gems like this one and it is only a matter of time before this gets popular.

The popular opinion now is buy the coins that are down, and when the market recovers that you'll be in profit. While that saying is correct but that doesn't go for all coins. Don't go buying every coins you see losing value just because you think when the market bounces up, they'll follow. Majority are losing value because people are seeing them for what they truly are which are just a waste of investment and time, also a ticking time bomb waiting to explosed.
The memes you all are rushing to buy today most probably will die with this market and won't be much of a sort after coin when the next bull run comes same goes for the Defi, NFT, launchpad projects you're all rushing to get them cheap not knowing you're buying a waste. Choose wisely, follow up the project. See if their developers are working on something or just hiding behind the now popular saying, the market is unfavorable.

Ditto on that. DYOR is a basic step every trader should do before investing in any crypto project. Make sure that the project is green, have plenty of rewards and has relevant use-cases in today's time. With that said, make sure to diversify to minimize the risk of losing all your money. I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Staking is a lucrative investment. There is little risk since staking means holding the token. My go-to Staking Platform is Defi Magic. Their APR, APY, yield is absolutely green and it is a great project. I recommend you check it out.
This is your own strategy and I'm happy it's working for you but I want you to know that there are many pro traders out there that trades every single day and this doesn't stop them to make gains, every traders should work hard and find their own paths, ways won't be the same ever

I've seen several times that every altcoins doubles the price in a single day which means every coin or token has its opportunity to boom. IF BTC price does down they drop but suddenly they skyrocket by the next day itself, it's pretty hard to judge which coin might pump for the next day. Using coinbase was the biggest mistake I made. Lol. They do hide their fees in the spread and one time I got my account locked for 3 weeks. Thankfully, it got resolved after so much complaining. I'm using Netcoins and they only charge 'BTC' => 0.0005.
It takes guts to invest in bitcoin or crypto in general. So if you're not ready to risk it, then you're not cut out for bitcoin. Besides, bitcoin is just one of the many coins in the crypto world.

well first off im a newb. I recently purchased a nano s and idiotically attempted to transfer my litecoin from coinbase to my ledger bitcoin wallet address. transaction was listed as complete with several confirmations but coins never arrived in either bitcoin or litecoin wallets on the ledger. what steps can i take to recover the litecon. i have already contacted ledger and coinbase support a week ago but havent recieved a reply. any help would be greatly appreciated. your humble friend

Since the bitcoin address entered by mistake and the litecoin address intended are derived from the same mnemonic words, simply scanning the mnemonic into a litecoin wallet that scans a bit of the HD-key tree for balance, should work. or try importing the private key of the btc ledger adress in a ltc wallet. I believe the derivation for segwit address for bitcoin and litecoin is more or less the same. if you live in Canada, Netcoins.ca is the best place for crypto exchange and they have awesome customer support to boot.

I have read many conspiracy theories and watched so many videos on YouTube that says Bitcoin is created by so called 'elites' and illuminaties are behind this.
I have always rejected them as someone's figment if imagination.

Highly unlikely.
Bitcoin is currently most popular crypto currency right now.
Although it doesn't have much of real life implementation or usage it's still a crypto contenders for future.
The community is active, it's technology is growing and improving at steady pace. Recent lightning implementation could give a push over its strength against new ico or competing coins.
The crypto space has got a lot of attraction from high profile investors and I recon there would be massive investments in research and further development in crypto currency space.
Bitcoin will definitely benefit from that. But if you are too worried, you can go a different route and invest in different coins. What i do is that I buy 60% in BTC, 30% in ETH, 10% in XRP. That way, it's not a total loss if ever that happens. I buy stocks at Netcoins.ca for they have cheaper rates and lower spreads.

----- Bruh. Investing doesn't mean to hodl forever. It means to hodl for a certain period until you are guaranteed a bigger profit. For example, if you are holding a land property, and you continue holding it, let's say 20 years; Question, Are you earning money? of course! Time is Money. The longer you hodl the property, the more their value increases over time. Same concept with crypto. I'm using Netcoins because it is a safe crypto platform and I've been hodling my bitcoin ever since and I've been checking the right time and price to sell them. I'm not earning from it now but in the future, I will.
