I think IDO is Initial DEX Offering, Initial DeFi Offering seems a bit off. Yeah, some projects are going this route launching their crowdfunding in a decentralized exchange which doesn't guarantee the success of a project. They just want to make it feel different by providing a newer acronym but basically it is still the same, they will just sell their token as it is.

Just once or twice a month I guess if I need to exchange one token to another. The gas fees are ridiculously high these past few weeks.

The popularity of DeFi is also causing problems because of the high fees. It seems it is more expensive to pay gas than use BTC transaction fees these days.

That seems a lot of free coins to go around. What will be the effect on the price if those free coins get to the exchanges?
Unless there's a good demand, it might bring the price down.

I guess they calculated it. If they're giving that much tokens then they know that those tokens will be bought either by them or their partners/users.

The thread started deleted my comment regarding their scam so I suppose they're guilty without any excuses. Though I think these kinds of scamming activities might shift over to telegram scamming creating groups etc.

Of course it is scam project! I think author is just a troll - read my post above. ^^
But this is a great example of that how naive some users are. Many times it is just like in this post - investors read something about a project. Everything is described very nicely and of course it is a project that must be successful. However, many do not look closer (like here not many checked that link) and in this simple way lose money sending straight to a scammer like this. I think that's what the author of this post wanted to show.


There are really people who don't dig much about a particular post. All they care is if they will get profit from it. But they will find out very soon when they start to look where their money is. The OP may be is just testing the readers here how they react to a particular post. Who knows he is doing some sort of research how forum users reply on a specific post here? So with the inclusion of the link hidden from the name of coin itself, he will know if people are really attentive to posts like this.

Yeah, probably just testing how the users will perceive the post. This time he used a coin that is already proven to be a scam but next time he might post a would-be scam so there will be no negative article yet about it plus put nice images then the users will pour their money into the project since it is claimed as fully decentralized one.

Their token not yet listed on coinmarketcap, even they did not listed on any exchange yet. From what I know, to be listed on cmc need to be listed in 2 exchanges and have active trading activity.
This is an old project that created 2 years ago, if they can get some investors, then getting listed on the exchange is one of the main things they will do.

If I'm not mistaken, then just listing is not enough to get on the CMC, you still need to confirm that there is an active and large community, as well as that there are holders of these coins!

Yes cmc has been strict this past year when it comes to coin listing unlike before all you have to do is submit the coin details and that's it. This project is unique though but I doubt they'll be able to pull it off successfully.

I think it needs proper marketing for this to have users from those 10 countries. If it will be mainstream in those countries then this project can be big. That is a big IF though, hope that those countries are not the small ones.

Really bold statement. What I am worried about is, do they really have the assets to back-up their numbers? For a time before, USDT admitted that they are not 100% backed by US$. So what about this project, how do we know they are saying the ultimate truth about their assets?

Unless they're being backed by several big VCs who are still trying to get their piece of the DeFi pie. On the bright side, if these VCs are trying to get in by investing in these companies then it could mean big in the future of crypto in general as more funds are flowing in which may increase the prices of lots of cryptos out there coins and tokens alike.

Is their code posted somewhere like Github? If it's not decentralized and open-sourced I don't think we can trust that bot from getting your passphrase then throwing it up to the one who created it.
