Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment?
by

this is just an opinion,

but with bitcoin reaches(or already reached its peak)due to its increasing in popularity and utilization, it shall stabilize (in such a way that it will lower the value 5-10 years from now) along the way.

an analogy to this is how a game balancing(stabilization) is applied to published games by the developers (the big guys on the market) to ease/or utilize some of the features/components(physical and non-physical factors) affected by sudden flux/variation.

while bitcoin is not in a grip of any individual, its volatility is depended on the players in the market.

....at sa tingin ko lang kapag bibigyan mo ng merit ang isang newbie, some of the senior members (foriegn) might think that you are helping them to rank up.

There's nothing wrong with giving newbies merits at all, and I know majority of "foreign senior members" would also agree.

Well Kabayan, giving merit is both subjective and objective..
the objective one is the content and the subjective one is you "liking" a post. there is always a bias there. it is either you are influenced or informed, and by that you gain something out of it, that's when you decide giving them merit

I think you should read more carefully, at ulit ulitin mo muna.

Lesson learned yan, hope it doesnt cause to much stress on you mate. (isipin mo nalang nadelete mo ung pic ng ex mo sa pc mo. at ayaw mo na marecover)

You should really be more careful especially when transacting with money. money. hirap na nga ng buhay ngaun sa pinas. nagsend ka pa sa ibang blockchain ng ibang coin.

Nope. even on a low or medium spec computer.
Small miners get thrown out easily at the blockchain mining competition.
Those chinese were selling their old mining rigs for more high spec ones.
Even if you do, it is not really profitable. Either mining is for big guys or guys with big cash and pockets.
It is really SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST OUT THERE!

Why the fuck would you even touch that shitcoin.
Surely. Mine BTC-ETH and be happy. Don`t touch shitcoins! Get your $10 then you can make $20, but dont touch shitcoins! Profit from shitcoins is not right profit, dont touch it!

It really depends on your risk tolerance. we all have different point of views, others have to explore and take the fall or rise on their own.
BTC, XRP,  ETH, LTC... playing on the majors offers much less risk and more secured than the cross-overs and exotics but if you're on the upper hand (or you just get lucky) the gain is pretty much decent. but still. it really really really depends

Re: technical analysis is enough to be successful in trading ????
by
rnchavez19
on 10/04/2019, 14:15:55 UTC
I am trading from many years using technical analysis but technical analysis only is not enough , I am lacking something in my analysis and not having confidence in taking trades only based on technical analysis, I did ask many traders they say lot of factors like psychology, crowd behaviour , market sentiments , any experienced traders here know some other factors  please mention , and if  of you know  books where I can learn those  please mention book name            thanks

Hi there,

Well, market is highly volatile unlike forex so there are almost countless of factors and your luck has to play its part because admit it.. We are gamblers... at least every trader is.. to honeycomb it.. we are risk takers...
But somehow.. the more visible factors here are

1.how the crowd does it
this is without a doubt, the most essential but the most vague indicator. we are traders because we interact with each other through exchange.
example. see how the prices become more volatile as the crowd get driven by the news.
enjin really got the crowd with its partnership w/samsung

2. how the big guys does it
somehow there are large entities that can manipulate or bring a major change in market using their resource or influence
exhibit A. the sudden jump of bitcoin last april fools (this is still a conspiracy)
exhibit B. Xlm was down last March 2019 because they are giving out xlm through coinbase (this is based on my assumptions)

3. how you do it
welp. in the end, no matter how experienced you are.
it all comes down to you mate. it depends on "you" factors.. (mood, development, resource/capital, social network...)

Re: Bitcoin prophesy has shown up again. Which side would you belong?

This is just a personal opinion/speculation,
but i think if it hits 4970-4950 limit.. it will go on like a projectile motion (bearish) or other's say cup-like trend.
on the other hand, if it hits 5375-5400 the rocket will continue (bullish) or it'll maintain its horizontal trend for a short time..

it'll be best to look at this at both angles or from a different perspective

wish i could have bought more btc..  (-_ -)/

TRADING TIPBIT1:COMMON CHART PATTERNS

TRADING TIP BIT1

To Filipinos here who's really interested especially for newbies.
(I wont post link here. This is based on what i've learned so far, Relay para sa mga baguhan sa cryptoverse)

CHART PATTERNS

1.SUPPORT and RESISTANCE
Kalimitan nangyayari dahil sa common crowd psychology na "BUY LOW, SELL HIGH"

A. RESISTANCE happens when the price hits a historically high level (sa tingin ng karamihang speculators) then they will be urged to sell their position (Position.. if you are lazy to look it up.. un ung nakukuha mo kapag nag buy or sell ka. LONG POSITION kung buying in hope na tataas ung value ng binili mo, SHORT POSITION kung selling ka na at hanggang dun nalang kaya nga short eh :<). After nun, the price tend to fall.

B. SUPPORT happens when the price hits historically low (opposite lang)... then the crowd maybe urged to  "BUY! BUY! BUY!" a position.
Then the price tend to rise

(NOTE: B4 ka magtrade, wait at least 3 price reversals and use your judgement to determine the reliability of support and resistance. welp it is up to you mate.

2. PIN BAR PATTERN
well, mapapansin nyu to sa mga candelstick charts. mataas ung chance, i remember it was about 60+%
This is simple guys, really
(ung pin un ung linya sa gitna ng bar.. )

Look for the "Pin Bar" with longer na tangkay relative to its body typically on 1hr, 30min, timeframe. depends on price volatility.

Notice this:
A. Pinbar with longer na tangkay kapag uptrend
signal: open a selling position (magbenta ka na kasi bababa ang price)

B.Pinbar with longer na tangkay kapag downtrend
signal: open a buying position (BUY BUY BUY kasi malapit na sa ilalim ng puting ilaw... buwan)

welp.. that's it for now guys.

Although there is a continuous trend in cryptocurrency, I'm pretty sure with what he said in the last line that he also meant that paper money... ("hard money") is still more valuable.

I have to learn more from the other masters while also making progress.
Also, My target is trading with cryptocurrency although i have to learn it first from the giants on this site.

Re: What do you think is the most surprising thing in the History of Bitcoin?
by
rnchavez19
on 11/03/2019, 15:44:50 UTC
That bitcoin was created by only one person. It was mind boggling to me how one person invented something so genius. But yea, I then realized like a week after that there's definitely a chance that it was a group rather than one singular person. But regardless even if it was created by a group, it's still surprising that a group created something that most people didn't even think the world needed.

As for bitcoin being priced a few cents in the past? It also definitely surprised me, especially the "bitcoin pizza day" event; but then immediately realized "well duh, it started as a sort of collectible that's only being used by a few people, of course it used to be worth a few cents". Both of these are equally sort of surprising in my opinion.

Just to add just for the sake of it because I recently rewatched the Voorhees-Schiff debate, some things that surprised me concerning bitcoin but not necessarily about it's history:

  • That how I didn't realize and see the flaws of the current fiat system until I've learned about bitcoin. I'm definitely not an expert on this subject(money/economics), but I'm definitely more educated now than before.
  • When I realized that bitcoin can potentially dethrone gold in the store-of-value category for the masses. One main reason of which is that gold can easily be faked through filling gold bar shells with tungsten(tungsten's weight is fairly close to the weight of gold). This itself is a huge hassle.
Relevant article for this point: https://www.businessinsider.com/tungsten-filled-gold-bars-found-in-new-york-2012-9

well, just to add...
i partly agree and disagree about this..

it may be that bitcoin came from the idea of a single person then supported by his peers or manages to get some influence..
the idea of putting bitcoin to work is that you need others to accept it even though it is not recognized by an authority.. be it just merely a collectible or sort of like group jargon thing..

my guess though is that.. they have probably worked on an ancient free port space unknown called the "GARAGE"
