"our interaction should have only one form: i speak, i do not provide proofs or sources, and your (mine) role, is to prove that i'm *right*".

Hmm... interesting approach  Grin worth opening thread of your own

Seriously speaking, it would be nice to see the progress on both parts of a splitted project. Only final product can prove who was right

Peace & Love.

Thank you Master HMC for opening our Nomic eyes but we, your slaves, have decided to disobey your supreme command and build the real Tau who speaks freedom, not for your self-satisfying spiritual egoism, but for a better world.
So be it.

„You probably can't tell what it's based on, can you?” - Of course I can speculate on few assumptions beyond the irrelevant "old restistances/support".
1) I consider the 1$/AUR a psychological barrier.
2) Summer is coming and as we all know it's dead time for doing business. Because of this I'm expecting a lower adoption pace.
3) First to come into the Icelandic exchange will be “connoisseurs” and I'm expecting them to start AUR accumulation without pushing up the price too much.
And again these are just speculations and must be treated as such Smiley

Good morning guys !

Barely discussed, I wonder how bitcoin halving will influence its price - and how this will impact AUR price.  Timing is one more time interesting, and I wonder how a bitcoin rally would impact every other coins.  Not that AUR need BTC to exist (no BTC pair in iceland) - but still a factor.

True price discovery will come from within Iceland. A price evolution like the above one it's possible.
Growth to 0,002BTC followed by a longer consolidation.
I have no reason to belive this graph as true or false. Just an intuition.

I really don't know what guldencoin stands for. A social experiment? A political one?
From who they want to break for? From euro? I really don't understand why it's needed in the first place.
As for auroracoin I wish that will always be perceived as a mechanism for „breaking the shackles of fiat currency”. With no politics involved. Nothing more than something like a natural force. A string of bits, carrying around value in a secured way.

I've recorded a few times with the camera on the dashboard and it doesn't really have much if any shaking at all so I'm not sure we will need some extra solution.

I would think the main thing is if we should have it on the dashboard or on the hood. Mostly depends on the time this would take us. If too long then the camera might run out of battery.

I have an extra battery pack for it but if this would take half the day, I'm not sure that it would do. We like to record the whole thing as a video instead of making the GoPro take the time lapse as we might miss some important frames like that. Better to process it afterwards.

Use two identical cameras with long lenses 100-350mm.
Install the cameras inside two different cars on the other side of the road. And be sure it's a place where people are walking often.
Frame the subject from opposite directions.
Power up the cameras from the car battery.
Be sure you heave beafy memory cards. 64GB+
Let it roll all day long on 1080p resolution.

"Install the cameras inside two different cars on the other side of the road. And be sure it's a place where people are walking often." This is Iceland, you don't find people walking about. Smiley

The idea was to drive the car around the city past all the bus stops that have an Auroracoin ad.

Ok got it.
It can be priceless to have few people reactions, in the morning at the rush hour, when peoples are going to work. You can archive that with a "two camera setup" as described above.
But if you just want to describe the bus stops ad campaign, that's even easier. Ask someone for a drone with hardware stabilizer (DJI Phantom like) and you'll have a smooth recording.

AllLivesMatter, your puppet fraud scheme doesn't work anymore and somehow you must come to the conclusion you are done here.
I understand your frustration. You stole so little from the Auroracoin DEV's, when you could fraud so much...
Move along to your parallel universe where you belong.

So...... what did everyone have for breakfast this morning?
I have interdiction on eating more than once a day.
My friends are telling me I got too fat and girls will not love me anymore, because of my belly. They say I could die alone as a consequence.
Fortunately, watching this new excellent Icelandic movie gave me hopes of living a good life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxddmHM2o4c

It's called a "brand awareness campaign" and will surely work. Nothing new here. Just a well-established advertising strategy.

We must never forget that Auroracoin project is not only about money, it's also about ethics. And this is the Auraráð foundation role to defend with the help of M1 fund. ”It  involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.”

The board of Auraráð foundation is true to his heart and knowledgeable. Because of this, I'm confident that Auroracoin project will succeed on the field of value and ethics and become a subject of inspiration for the word.

Maybe I'm repeating too much the "tokens security" mantra. But there are any plans to implement a hardware security key, multisig or any other 2FA instrument for the AUR wallets?
Also a awareness campaign regarding secure storage and exchange of AUR, can do only good to the general public.
I'm hearing about cases of lost tokens by misuse and theft by hacking and social engineering, almost every day.

this is so juicy! Smiley
This thief must be exemplarily punished. It's a shame this kind of people are running nations.
Unfortunately it's not not a local problem but a global one, as the "Panama Papers" reveal.
The grotesque part of the story it's they portray themselves as our saviors.
They feel they deserve what they steal from us, the mob, the lower level, the insignificant.

It must be in the interest of all the legitimate buyers to come together to a common conclusion ASAP.
The bank argument vs. crypto doesn't hold up. Even in crypto-space, means to do justice must be found.

If you buy a stolen car and you are found, are you still entitled to own the car or you should return the property and be compensated?

Again, if the trade has been done on illegitimate terms and has been done so. The trade becomes null.
IF the trade is reversible, buyers must be refunded 1:1. Nothing less, nothing more.
IF the trade is not reversible then ... But let's see.

Since the undo button still works, ethically correct is to restore the previous state of the presale.
None is the rightful owner to benefit from the fraud. Seller or buyer.
If the case is not solved ethically correct, the thief has not only manage to stole coins but also our confidence.
