Hello everyone. I want to invest some money. I have saved around 600 USD. Now I want to invest in.
Ethereum looks like that, it will be a good place to invest some money. What do you think? If I invest my 600 USD into Ethereum, can I able to make some profit? Or there is a possibility that, I might lose everything? Please advice and suggest me.
Yes you can invest in ethereum and it's almost certain that you will get good return in future. As ethereum is one of the top grossing coins and people have shown faith in eth.

Bounties ends before it's time ends due to lack of funding and management. In some bounties escrow are missing which means payment issues can happen.

You can try day trading with coin like Bitcoin and Eth as they are fast moving coins and are very safe too.Day trading can be tricky as well for those who are not use to it as it requires fast decision making ability. Choice of coin is also very important.

I bought bitcoin when it was around $14,500 in January and I am still holding because I am not discouraged.  I have great hope that bitcoin is going to increase in price and volume in some years to come.
Yup,It's the only option that everyone has got,if we have to sell our stakes in profit. The other thing that we can do is that we can sell some of the stakes and the other hand we can buy some small coins that will some jump to certain extent in order to balance our loss. This way we can get into the green from red.

Re: Reasons behind Bitcoin/Cryptomarket fall???
by
rockie87
on 21/08/2018, 17:26:10 UTC
There are main reason behind this fall can the lack of coins in working condition.According one survey within top 100 coins only 36% coins are in working condition and that shows the inability of coins to build their trust on investors.

It can happen but one one condition that fiat dollars are greatly invested in crypto currency. If more people buys crypto with fiat dollar, the value of dollar will decrease automatic. For this to happen it will take time as people have greater trust on fiat dollars that crytpo so I don't think this will happen this soon.

Re: How does crypto currency change the lives of ordinary people?
by
rockie87
on 23/06/2018, 18:42:46 UTC
We are all familiar with that feeling of embarrassment when walking through the street and are confronted by beggars and the homeless. Sometimes we help; sometimes we speed up the pace while looking away. But that one thing that unites us, is that feeling of shame. Shamed by the fact that the “have nots” outnumber the “haves”.

Have you ever noticed that society has taught us to live with a sense of shame and anger since childhood? I remember my first class. I was fortunate to attend a prestigious school. The children were all well dressed; they all had brand new backpacks stored with healthy and delicious lunches. I, however, recall an exception. There was this girl whose clothes seemed as if she wore “hand me downs”. Her briefcase was torn in places and she never appeared to have a lunch. Back then I was young and did not understand all the subtleties of life, but I knew how I felt. I felt so ashamed. I lived better than she and did not understand why she couldn’t live like the rest of us. Other children teased her because she was different. One thing that we could never have imagined was that at some time in the future, we too could be in her place.

Shame haunts us all throughout life. Only, more often than not, it changes shape and direction and stares you directly in the face. For example, when you cannot get into a good university and must go to work right after school. When your friends brag about the photos from their holidays, and you cannot even afford to go to another city for a while, to visit your parents. When you yourself become a parent and must choose between giving your child a good education or having to deny them the opportunity of new things and toys.

We have been balancing between poverty and prosperity for all our lives, passing through world’s economic crises, political instability and class inequality. Are we really living, or are we just fighting to survive? How do we fix this?

We are lucky to live in a time where the information era rules the world. With the advent of the Internet, ordinary people now have access to new perspectives and unlimited information.

The concept of digital currency has the power to rebuild the financial system, while destroying man-made borders. In other words, cryptocurrency opens the world for any person to access new frontiers. Thus, the masses now have opportunities, which were recently not available to them. The most pleasant thing is that the central banks and governments of the world have no authority on how cryptocurrency and blockchains operate.

But what real features does cryptocurrency have?

Here’s an example excerpt from the article of Daniel Jeffries “Why Everyone Missed the Most Mind-Blowing Feature of Cryptocurrency?”

«… For example, we could pass a law, like a Universal Basic Income (UBI). That would give everyone a stream of money, pushing it out across the entire playing field and giving more people a chance to participate in the system. If more people can participate, we unlock all kinds of hidden and untapped value.

The problem with all of the plans before now, from UBI to high taxes on the rich to spread the wealth across the game, is that to redistribute the money after it’s already been distributed is nearly impossible. The people with that money rightfully resist its redistribution.

But what if the money is NOT already distributed? What if we don’t have to take it from anyone at all?

That’s the missed opportunity of all of today’s cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are creating new money. And unlike credit markets, which only pretend to expand the money supply, by lending it out 10x with fractional reserve lending, cryptocurrencies are literally printing money. »

«The key is to free your mind of the “Satoshi box” and think different. What we really need is to completely gamify the delivery of money, distributing it far and wide at the moment of creation. By doing this, we can forever change the global monetary game. »

It sounds like a great prospect. Unfortunately, with the example of Bitcoin, there are complexities of its extraction and use. Hence, the time has come to put an alternative cryptocurrency on the market, which will minimize the complexity of these processes, and which will be available for every user.

To create a single crypto currency, which will allow all users to receive income, regardless of their status. Our team of the GeoManna platform project has long thought about this issue. By holding GM tokens in your wallet, allows participants of the platform to receive one free bonus per day. While bonuses accumulate, you can now use them to pay for goods and services. The equivalence of one GM bonus will be 1 USD, which, after a couple of weeks of accumulation, can replace the minimum subsistence of one person. GeoManna isn’t loaning money, it’s providing bonuses for use of the GeoManna network.

We open the world to a new perspective of equality, where people have a chance to create values on their own; manage and multiply them.

What future do I see for "The GeoManna Platform"? I envision that my children can now enjoy a childhood of equality. They will have greater family relationships. Families can afford to go on vacations that at one time they could never afford.
I do not deny that class inequality will remain. The world, after all, is imperfect. However, there exists now a chance to blur boundaries. It's our duty to at least try. Are you on board?

Omg I just checked on the price and it suddenly took a leap from 8.8k to 9.3k$.
People predicted it would reach 10k$ by year end ,what are your predictions ,any new trading strategy you have come up with?
Even i was surprise with that leap but that was expected with way market was behaving. Still i would advice to persist with your old trading strategy as there is no need of changing it because of this dip.

Re: Main reason for the price drop
by

on 22/06/2018, 19:27:58 UTC
I read some news this last week, and there is some indication of wash trading and spoofing going on, so the prices are dropping.

Do you think this is the reason, or the movements of the market are normal ?
This might be one of the reason for the dip but it is not the only reason and what i think is people investing in bitcoin are forced by the government and this has majorly disturbed the market.

Bitcoin is the leading coin of the market. What you think about the future of bitcoin and others coin?
It is leading coin of the market but there are few coins which are performing well.No doubts that Bitcoin has higher capacity than others but due to this dip the competition has rised.

Re: Bitcoin price will hit $250,000 in 2022?
by
rockie87
on 16/06/2018, 19:20:03 UTC
First of all this thread is open for discussions or insights are welcome as this topic is just a speculation or prediction by a man named Tim Draper.

So basically, Tim is a Billionaire venture capitalist and investor and has been one of cryptocurrency’s biggest bulls, technically he earned a lot of profit already from bitcoin. He said that bitcoin price will rise up to $250,000 each BTC! But we all know that the bitcoin price has sunk more than 67 percent from its all-time high. So, for you as an investor or a fan of bitcoin, would you believe in this statement?

We are talking about the future here, we all know that BTC started very cheap from the beginning, but look at it now. Can it really rise again on 2022?
hope sooo.😂

Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not?
by
rockie87
on 16/06/2018, 19:17:03 UTC
I was doing some research online and I stumbled on this kind of news. https://news.bitcoin.com/since-embracing-bitcoin-robinhood-app-value-jumps-to-5-6-billion/

The article said that robinhood app after embracing cryptocurrency have its value jumped to 6 billion dollars after embracing bitcoin. This is a good sign that more and more people are engaging into bitcoin. If more business will enter into the world of cryptocurrency and will bring back the original purpose of cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange rather than just and object of income and a trading item then surely we could revolutionized the world of finance and economy.

With robinhood as an example do you think there will be more business online that will boom and will not go bankrupt due to cryptocurrency?

I guess its hard to determine such facts base on one example so let us wait for the future to unveil itself.
Good question ....
It can indeed help in a business.Infact there are still  people to whom has these one shop.it just depends on the perspective and motive of a person.

Re: Buy This Dip or Wait ?
by
rockie87
on 16/06/2018, 18:31:55 UTC
So BTC and most alts are down 10-25% pretty much across the board from 6:30 est. this morning.

So what do you think guys, buy this dip or wait for more blood?
You can do Soo if you don't have any coins left in your wallet or you got some with high price.Inorder to reduce the losses you can invest in a dip to cover. But if you are new investor than do not invest now and if you still want to invest that put your money on alt coins. As they are more proactive coins than Bitcoin.
