Dear brother and sister,
I'm new in crypto,
What wallet u guys use ? For beginners like me...
Easy to operate
Thanks for give some idea and suggestions..

Were the same here bro I'm not yet holding btc but I have already a wallet a coins.ph wallet this wallet mostly used here our country easy to transacted any payments bill. I hgope so sooner or later i got rank so that i can join signature campaign to got some btc.

I’m using Myetherwallet for all the needs of saving tokens and coins that I get from the bounty programs. As I’m not trading on mass scale it is easy to manage it from there. Also as per my readings over the forum and internet it’s best to use wallet which gives us private keys to hold and that give us the complete control of the wallet and It is the most common and reliable wallet in times of trading or changing altcoins to bitcoins.

Re: Bitcoin regaining dominance.
by

I think that Bitcoin will alway be above all other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is first cryptocurrency and that gives it a lot. It broke the ice and showed people what cryptocurrency could be or become. Also if it was not the best, it wouldn't have the highest price. Maybe in time it will lose to some other or new crypto, but for now its first.
Yes for now bitcoin is the unstoppable cryptocurrency among all cryptocurrencies. Many people is using bitcoin and a lot of people is now investing with bitcoin. The highest price of bitcoin is one proof that bitcoin is really the best.
I think bitcoin never ever lost its dominance, In fact bitcoin is dominant over all crypto currencies from very beginning and we can expect that it will remain as dominant for ever. Bitcoin is in fact the very first digital currency mainly created for online shopping etc but now we can see that it is even use in local shops for shopping. the shopkeepers interested to accept bitcoin for shopping. The popularity and importance of bitcoin is increasing from time to time, which is making the future of bitcoin more bright.

I guess this is no more than wishful thinking on your part

I refer to your claim that "now we can see that it is even use[d] in local shops for shopping" and "the shopkeepers [are] interested to accept bitcoin for shopping". This is not even close to being a half-truth. The shopkeepers are not interested in Bitcoin as a means of payment (though they can be interested in it as a vehicle for speculation). They are interested in fiat as they have always been. Were it not so, they would accept Bitcoin directly which they don't do since they use payment processors like BitPay and their likes to instantly convert the bitcoins people are paying for their goods and service into fiat. This is the harsh reality whether you like it or not, and you have to face it if you don't want to remain delusional. The popularity of Bitcoin comes via its use for speculation exclusively, not through real life commerce
Real life commerce does fuel speculation and demand though. If you could choose between two assets with similar returns and only one of them was easily and instantly exchangeable for goods, you would go with that one. So whether or not vendors use BitPay as a middleman or not is not relevant to the Bitcoin price and its adoption.

It's certainly true that most people wouldn't want to accept Bitcoins as a mean of payment directly though, since they rely on the liquidity of fiat.

Yes, the potential its showing now a days, bitcoin can be called as a asset. Just have a look at the worth its got, almost 6000$!! which will be increasing in the coming days for sure. So, it can be considered as a asset rather than a currency.

It serve as assets because its value appreciate over time and yield good return for those who bought them when its market value was lower as copcompared to what it is now. And it serve as a currency because one can use it to purchase an items and Bitcoin's value keeps on increasing recently with no limit in sight , bitcoin will increase year by year  and you will not know how much it increases .

if satoshi nakomoto mined 1 million bitcoins in early days. who own the second worlds biggest bitcoin wallet?  Grin

Some news say satoshi have about 5.98 of Total bitcoin that make him so rich

need Sources to Support my speak

They may very well hold a certain numbers of coins from other closed platforms or other cases, but these are neglectable in quantity, and will eventually get auctioned off as well. On top of that, the blockchain is transparent till the extent that everyone can browse through it, and thoroughly analyze it and connect addresses to people in some cases -- there isn't such a thing as anonymity .

The introduction of bitcoin is very important for the world of education because bitcoin is projected to become the currency in the future so it is necessary how to manage the new currency of this cryptocurrency. If bitcoin enters into the course they will be found a variety of innovations for the development of bitcoin and it is very useful for the development of bitcoin in the future.

It's very good to involve in bitcoin in college itself. If it come as a subject means,it will be good.If it come in college means, they can pay their college fees with the help of bitcoin.Even they can continue with bitcoin as a business and can support their family from College itself. Nice to implement bitcoin in college.

Apart from reaching a new ATH, bitcoin is also regaining dominance vs other alts. It was halved between March and June and bitcoin has been slowly regaining it but lately seems to have received a boost.

http://i64.tinypic.com/dh4xx.jpg

Source: (https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage)

Any ideas about why this is happening?

IT might be because that people are now starting to believe in bitcoin in a way that it is becoming more palatable than other cryptocurrencies just because of its longevity and that it is still higher than some of the other currencies. It might also be that the influence and popularity of bitcoin is spreading.

I think the hype of the fork is coming into effect.  The news about Bitcoin Gold and the value or profit that a bitcoin holder can take once fork is done.  Probably greed is driving Bitcoin market upward since more bitcoin means more coins on the forked chain which means a profit for them.
Yes, exact same thing that happened during the Bitcoin Cash fork.

On top of that the crypto market is getting bigger since Bitcoin is in the news almost every day now.

This could be a major pump after the fork or a dump. Although bitcoin cash fork was made, does it become reliable? Does it improve? What will happen after bitcoin gold? People are still sticking to bitcoin because many investors are buying bitcoin because of its known popularity today. Many people are still asking, what is bitcoin?  I think crypto market will still rise in the future
Of course everyone will stick with Bitcoin. Nobody cared about Cash or Gold to begin with. They're just alts that try to use the Bitcoin name for their own gain.

Anyway, we're probably going to see Bitcoin go down a little while altcoins start pumping after the fork.

Re: Possible End of Bitcoin
by
rockyram
on 22/10/2017, 17:25:58 UTC
Well bitcoin is going up really seriously but i have an possible senario for bitcoin to end first of all mining bitcoin is becoming almost impossible without huge investments so we need better equipment and new technologies right ? I think it’s very near and they are called Quantum Computers to explain these computers are might be 100 million times powerful and useful than todays computers so they would be easier to mine bitcoins with it even if difficulty of mining goes up as tech grows but the thing is Blockchain does not have any protection to quantum computers which i laugh about it so much and when this technology comes out people would start to steal bitcoins instead of mining because its going to be more profitable how come people cannot forsee that for the next 5 years bitcoin is going to make great job but after that Quantum Nightmare of Bitcoin is going to end it up

Actually I do not believe that bitcoin die. Why?  Because I really believe that it will take so long, and there will be more investors in up coming years.
No need to worry if so Speculation might come but it never affects bitcoin.

Is it impossible to end bitcoin today. It may depend on internet and new technologies. The end of internet would not mean just end of Bitcoin but the end of the world. And to my opinion this might happen only with some heavy catastrophe or new world war. But every technology developes and adjusts and so it's the case of Bitcoins so Actually Bitcoin has many scenarios of it's development and we can't say today which is going to be the truth. Bitcoin is still just in the beginning of it's growth and the world just start to pay attention on it seriously.

Re: What will happened to bitcoins after one died?
by
rockyram
on 22/10/2017, 17:11:08 UTC
Who owns the bitcoin after someone died?  How to state this in the will? Please share your thoughts.

The bitcoin will hide if no one will know that person e-mail address and password, so i think we should keep our e-mail address in a note ,just in case we are in emergency our family will own our bitcoin .
One should share his private key of wallet with someone trustworthy so that if he will be no more than that trustworthy person can access the coin to use them in time of need and this will be a really good approach so that you loved ones cannot get into any trouble of finance after user death and there must be a primary email at the signup so that one can use coins and this will give them benefit as in past,

The bitcoin will be stored in the wallet after one died.Because it has a password and other private key that can be stored on a computer or a note in the mobile. And it certainly could be that someone who died has already told to his/her nearest person or family about the bitcoin wallet he/she owns or already tells all the files containing the account, password, email, private keys, on his/her computer or mobile.

I am really curious about experienced people advices that when is better to buy waves. I hold little bit Btc and i want to buy waves but when it will be makes me adventage to buy. Before 25 oct or after 25 oct? Is it predictable?
There is nothing there to predict. Waves for sure is a good project and might have some pretty good future. You can buy now and hold. If you are looking to trade though, now is still a good time to buy since it is in a dipped state as other altcoins.

You can buy, hold and watch until after the fork or just HODL and watch how it climbs up the ladder.

Waves had high level of popularity. Perhaps when compared to the prospect of waves can be aligned with etherum. although if you look at this time then waves are still far behind compared to etherum. but I see that there are opportunities and waves need innovation and development projects that they have to be able to attract more investors later this year.

Re: What would benefit bitcoin more?
by

on 21/10/2017, 17:30:45 UTC
What do you think will benefit it?

I prefer the benefits of bitcoin in use in all kinds of websites, such as for cash game payment, payments for clothes and home furniture, for now bitcoin still can not be used to buy everything but I price the next year bitcoin will dominate the currency digital that can buy anything.
Yes, it really is a convenient money, however, it is not yet accepted and accepted worldwide, in other words it does not have a complete legal system. I think it takes a lot of time to complete.

Benefits of bitcoin is more price as compare to anything and investor should also spread its information among their circle so that people will be more attracted and top of this social media campaigns must be started so that this coin can meet to all the corner of the world this will bring a lot of investor and as result this will bring more profit to everyone so everyone should do his part for progress.

why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?

I think these countries are banning bitcoin because they can't control it.

Bitcoin is a new way to make money for their citizen and only thinking that bitcoin will be like a threat for their economy. because their citizen which is using bitcoin is not paying the tax at all when they use bitcoin except when they sell their bitcoin and send the money to their bank account. maybe they are afraid that if many more people trying to use bitcoin, their fiat can be affect with the bitcoin price and will Reduce the economy of the country.

What do you think best coin is
menurut pendapat saya
kick coin, waves, mgo, mco, ctr dct etc are the best for long time holding
I think all coins are best. Because all coins has helped so many people. With coins people are able to make money and earn so much money. With coins people are able to provide their financial needs that is why bitcoin is the best of all. With bitcoin my time and effort are productive, so very  productive,

The best coin are Here another thing that should be the honest communication of coin's team with the users Because here I found that many coins are in the market but Thier owners/tram are not replying us for those coins regarding questions .And also it should be a mendatory thing that the team of the coin should do new new projects with the coins like to start accept at any site , shopping site , better investment program also etc are the best coin.

Re: what will happen to banks?
by
rockyram
on 21/10/2017, 17:18:57 UTC
I do not think there will be any disadvantage from it all, the bank will only update and evolve according to the changing times, and bitcoin runs as usual, but in my opinion not everyone uses bitcoin for a small transaction, and they use it more as a place to invest or trade, and I think the bank is quickly adjusting itself to modern times by adopting blockchain technology, so as not to lag behind the latest developments and seek some information to make use of it

Happen to bitcoin are the, I think it will bring some new innovation for the banks itself. and who knows, by doing this, the banks can reach more people without having any border between the country. but it is need time for the banks to realize that crypto currency can brought new changes to them and they need to learn more about bitcoin Are happen to bitcoin.

But it is need time for the banks to realize that crypto currency can brought new changes to them and they need to learn more about bitcoin. but for now, I think the bank will remain like this and until there is any statement from the government about bitcoin.

Re: What is Bitcoin mining?
by
rockyram
on 21/10/2017, 17:16:54 UTC
Bitcoin Mining is a peer-to-peer computer process used to secure and verify bitcoin transactions—payments from one user to another on a decentralized network. Mining involves adding bitcoin transaction data to Bitcoin's global public ledger of past transactions.

I'm sure everyone here has a computer device and internet access. the simplest thing we can do, even if it does not make a lot of money. but this is a good start to getting to know mining. mining is essentially solving the block by using a computer device that we have. solving this block using complicated math solutions and the more coin hence the difficulty will increases.

Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency.
by
rockyram
on 21/10/2017, 17:14:41 UTC
While bitcoin is a form of currency that can be used to purchase goods or pay your bills, it is also  a form of asset especially when you invest it in the market or just wait for its value to appreciate. Bitcoin is both a currency and an asset, just like a cash that has purchasing power and at the same time can be invested in stocks and foreign exchange transactions.

Best thing about bitcoins is that you can mine them and generate your own bitcoins.
Bitcoin as a currency is also used as in exchange of goods and services or in exchange of other currencies.
Bitcoin has come in existence from 2009 and since than its prices are increasing.  Bitcoins come with advantages and disadvantages.
Bitcoins are the new trend setter of today.  The rate with which bitcoin has come in economy it's remarkable. Bitcoin is come to origin in 2009, and since its rate gas been increasing incredibly.

Investors dropping altcoins for Bitcoin before hardfork on 25th. How high can it go before the hard fork happens? My bet is $7500!

(source: https://coincodex.com/crypto/bitcoin/)

True indeed ,alts are going down really bad, and bitcoin Hallelujah. Way more to go bitcoin.
Whoops,7.5k is alot bruh seriously.. People will just find ways to be rich. I say bitcoin will go up to like what 6500$ tops? Maybe a bit more and then fork happens and you gonna see the markets crash ,you gonna see some panic sell happening, you know what imma saying.Yeah ,you gonna see a lotta action take place in the crypto markets. And get your shit together for this and let the things happen. Imma so damn hyped for this..

I had waited for this value to reach. So after this the price of bitcoin will reach the value of 7500$.Actually the 6000$ is the expected value.I think this will reach two days back itself. But it was little bit slow.If the increment will continue means, who know the price will reach the value of 8000$ .That much power bitcoin has.

For now I'll just wait and sell, the current trend is definitely going to increase so I just have to wait at a certain price according to what I want. If the bitcoin price has reached the price I want I will soon sell it, this moment is very difficult I get, so I will take advantage of this moment as possible.

If you are ok with today price means, you can sell today. The price of bitcoin now is 5940$.It was 1940$ greater than a month value. If you not ok with the price means, just HOLD.You will get very huge profit soon.If you have a doubt means, just wait and sell the bitcoin after the month of October.

Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold
by
rockyram
on 20/10/2017, 19:44:09 UTC
So many people have claimed this before. Highly unlikely. Both have their place in portfolios, to disregard golds history is a big mistake.

I agree with you. And it is completely wrong to say that gold has been defeated by Bitcoin. Even now, the market capitalization of gold is almost 100 times that of Bitcoin. And even the daily trade volumes of gold is much higher than that of Bitcoin. BTC doesn't even have a well defined derivatives market.

I won't accept your point. What are you talking.I think you know the value of 1 gram gold and 1BTC.One BTC =10 grams of gold.So it's not even good to compare to the gold.My opinion is Bitcoin always greater than a gold. And in the profit sense also ,you will get 10 times of profit in Bitcoin as compaare to gold.So how you say,Gold is greater than a BTC.
It is all about the perspective of the person about the things that we usually see in the different types of place like for investment. There is a side that gold is better than bitcoin and that is the stable market which will not make you afraid to invest since the price of gold is stable and it keeps stabilizing for the next years while bitcoin is just volatile and it makes the investors afraid of putting a lot of money because of the volatility but bitcoin is still my choice in investing because of the fast profit.

Ya but.In gold the price may be stable, you no need to worry for the investment. But as you said in Bitcoin only the price of bitcoin is keeps on increasing.Today the price of bitcoin is around 5940$.Just thing about the profit if you invested a month ago it's around 4000$.You will get more than 1700$ as profit. Can you get this from a gold.I think it's not all possible.

One this will made this happen. No electricity. With this everything will go dark. No internet no bank transfers no tv no nothing everything is dark.
This is one of possible ways, other involves that in some crazy scenario all countries go bankrupt then maybe bitcoin would fall to or will go up so high that you could buy state for 1 bitcoin.

Yes.Bitcoin is ever and never get shut down.It will possible only if the internet is no more from the world.I think now, world was not run without internet. Now even in a remote village the internet is in process. So it is not at all possible to make the Bitcoin as no more or Shut down.
