Really looking forward to DMD's future. The whitepaper really does open up a whole area of things to do and it's good to know that i'm thinking a long similar lines, even before i read to the end of it!

Looks like DMD is doing well holding around the 100,000 sats mark. The more volume is great too. annnd V3.0 isn't even released yet! whoa!
So I am trying to think of services that can be brought to the masternodes over the years to come. What would people like to see? What is very much needed?
Would a diamond cooperative bank be out of the question?
Could the interest from a masternode be used to provide gain for others who invest/lockaway their coins, a bit like the diamond cloud mining service?
just ideas really, to ponder the possibilities..

a shared masternode system via masternode peer to peer system is part or the new services we aiming for
anything centralized and called a bank is not our goal and would need some kind of banking licence
main blockchain invention is to be trustless and decentral and remove man in the middle aka banks
i agree with all of that. I am talking about something that would benefit the ecosystem of the coin and which people could participate in. I had not finished reading the whitepaper which i wil do now

I have always seen diamond as being worth 5 x btc as it is about 1/5 of coin total. i remember chatting about this a few years ago on cryptsy and DMD was the only coin i managed to get off there as well as Asiacoin lol

I think $10 is a reasonable price for DMD. Decred DCR has more coins at around 5 million and is around $31 each at 0.012btc. Only a matter of time 
Re: I just logged onto the cryptsy site and it's not showing all coins?
so if i can see my coins still on there does that mean that there is actually nothing to back it up? meaning that it was true lie that we were led on to believe that we still had our coins in there. was it only btc and ltc as well? what abou the other coins... do you think they are still available to withdraw at some point?

(Grid coin has a nice idea about using hash power for research. However some of the research companies may not have the same interests as @home miners so to use pow it could be argued you need to have a separate @home community which isnt owned by a private company. Hard to do prob but the rewards and discoveries would be open to all..not privately owned.
Remember when ltc went down to a dollar? 1000 of those would have brought in $40,000 when it hit it's high back then. I'm gonna suggest LTC & DMD for now.
pre-mine doesn't always mean scam, although there are loads if dodgy basteds out there.
and if btc goes to 100,000 then all the alts will benefit for a little while...if only we could see round that corner :0)
