The Bounty: One bag of 500 stickerable Aluminum Casascius Coins, including shipping.  These have the Bitcoin logo on the front, and a blank space for a sticker (up to 1.15" / 29mm in diameter) for you to print the content of your choice.

The Project: Fork BitAddress.org so that it can be used for printing full sheets of private key labels.

How it should work:

• The user enters label count wide and high per page (in this example, 6 wide and 8 high)
• The user enters width of label and horizontal distance between labels (as well as height and vertical distance)
• The user enters a horizontal and vertical positioning offset (so it works with their particular printer)
• The user should be able to print a sheet of private keys after having bought the product linked to above.

In addition, there should be an easy way for the user to copy a list of the Bitcoin Addresses to the clipboard, so he can bulk-fund the addresses with the amount of his choice.  The list should be available in two formats: one being a simple CRLF-delimited list of addresses, and the other being a preformatted command for bitcoind to fund all the coins in a single transaction, example:


WHAT SHOULD GO ON THE LABELS:

This should be possibly up to user's discretion.  They will be a tight fit.  Some users will want QR codes and others will rather save the space.  Some users will want the Bitcoin address on the labels, others might view that as unnecessary.  I would think most users would want to enter a denomination to be printed, since the aluminum coins don't come pre-denominated.  I am open to any reasonable interpretation of what a user is likely to want.

We are starting development of next-generation colored coin client/wallet: stand-alone one, but without problems ArmoryX had (resource-hungry, crashes, etc). Other features:

• API for integration with other software
• available as a library for integration with other software

• support for multiple coloring kernels, which can reduce impact of anti-dust patch, or provide other benefits compared to order-based coloring
• support for advanced color states: this will enabled advanced features you could get from an alt-coin, but without a need of maintain an alt-coin. Example of such advanced features: coins with mandatory taxation (yikes), decentralized prediction markets, etc.
• fast bootstrapping: it won't need to scan whole blockchain to initialize a color, it can fetch transaction history and verify it

We are currently in research phase.

Most likely it will be a stand-alone wallet which works together bitcoind/Bitcoin-Qt, implemented in Python.

The basic idea is that they need to have some non-trivial, useful
details. For example, I would like someone to check whether it is
feasible to borrow transaction-parsing code from Electrum, and I want
a link to such code.


If you want to start coding something right away, you can write a code
sample in addition to informative post. In this case you get 0.1-0.5
BTC bounty depending on size of code, whether it works, whether it is
useful etc.

Total value of bounties will not exceed 5 BTC, if we reach that sum
we'll need to reconsider the process.

Also we are looking for developers interested in implementing this, for larger bounties, of course.

LTC es un clon de un altcoin ahora olvidado que se llamaba Fairbrix, el cual era un clon de otro que se llamaba Tenebrix y fue el altcoin original con "scrypt". FTC y CNC son clones de LTC (o sea, "clones de clones de clones").

Igual lo veo como un experimento: ¿Cual es el tamaño mínimo de los bloques sin que la red pierda seguridad? Pero no invertiría mis ahorros en ellos.

Los únicos altcoins realmente interesantes me parecen: PPCoin y sus derivados (pero ojo, es extremamente experimental y quizá aún vulnerable) por el "Proof of Stake", Namecoin y Devcoin.
