Looking to quicksell these two miners, already in the boxes and ready to be sent.

Price is .6 per unit including PSU & the shipping cost.

This guy hacked my e-mail account on gmail and tried (unsuccessfully) to get into my bank account, PayPal and yahoo accounts.  Do not do business with "me' here.  The guy is trying to scam you.. hence the rush transaction in bitcoins.

I used that title as inspiration as I liked it, neat and clean.

Go ahead and email me at ronaldmaustin@gmail.com if you don't believe I'm still the owner.
Had that email account for years, it's my personal.

Do you have some pictures? Is escrow accepted?

Units are already packed & sealed into boxes, not sure if you'd want pics of a box.

As for escrow, I was planning on using a part of the .6 btc (withdraw at an atm with my Wirex card) to pay for the shipping costs,

Ronald.

Please respond to my post in this section.  The FinCEN license is a US Corporation.  I don't believe this is going to be a Japanese BK but a US one.  It is intended to stop the US suits and potential US prosecution.  Hiding in Japan and forming a Japanese company is not going to help Mr. Karples keep your money.  MtGox has stolen millions and he will be extradited and prosecuted.  I cannot say more at this point, but please respond to my post if you have been ripped off.

MtGox Bitcoin Lawsuit
by
ronaldmaustin
on 25/02/2014, 10:13:44 UTC
MtGox is reportedly intending to seek Bankruptcy protection.  I intend to do 2 things.

First, I want to file a preliminary report with the FBI as I believe what has transpired at MtGox is nothing short of plain fraud, possibly resulting tens of millions of dollars in losses or more.  I believe that the frozen bitcoins have been stolen by Mark Karpeles and that is one of two types of direct loss incurred by users of MtGox.  I personally have had money sitting in MtGox's accounts and have been promised for weeks that some "banking issue" (unrelated to the alleged issue for freezing the bitcoins)  delayed the requested wire transfer of my money to me.  My losses are small in this regard, but I would like to have everyone post a brief description of similar problems in this thread in order that I can take it to the FBI and I will report back on the agent that would lead any investigation.  In other words, I would like to form a clearinghouse of witnesses and their losses (and be a central point of contact for them ) and make that information available to the FBI for investigation and prosecution.

Second, as to the Bankruptcy, I intend to file an adversary proceeding in the bankruptcy alleging fraud and do discovery to ascertain what, specifically, Mr. Karpeles did with the money in users accounts and the frozen bitcons.  A receiver would likely be appointed and I would like to reconcile what Mr. Karpeles reports in his bankruptcy filings with the actual losses of the users.  I would then ask the Bankruptcy judge to refer the matter for prosecution for Bankruptcy fraud and dismiss the Bankruptcy.  *I am not asking for funding for a lawyer or anything of that nature.*  I believe the other intended lawsuit here ("multi plaintiff" but not "class action") will be halted by the automatic stay in Bankruptcy in the early stages (which is obviously among Mr. Karpeles intentions in filing the BK). However I look forward to working with that attorney as well as the attorney in the Coinlab suit (to the extent of finding out what discovery in that case has revealed.)  I have my own lawyers that I work with.  My main purpose is to see Mr. Karpeles prosecuted and my secondary purpose is to hopefully have as much money returned to Mt Gox's clients as possible.

Feel free to PM me if this thread gets taken over by opinions and one-liners about Mt Gox or speculation as to what has occurred.  I beg you all to refrain from that.  Just tell your story in a few lines as to what you were promised and what you lost.  You can check my posts and see that I was scratching around in the dirt years ago here when mining pools were just starting, so I do have some background.

Again, I am just trying to make some initial contact with witnesses.  I particularly look forward to speaking with anyone with specific information as to the fraud I'm alleging.  If anyone from MtGox has such information, bear in mind that you may not be prosecuted if you are the first one through the door over at the FBI.  Maybe I can help you make that happen.

No, actually I just re-emailed the guy and he got back to me immediately and offered a free bank transfer right now.  His name was Mark something, so I doubt he personally is in Japan, but you never know.  LR is up.  It did get shut down for a day or two a couple of weeks ago due to a server change or something.  Downtime is not a good thing when money is involved.  Anyhow, I'll report back on how long the wire transfer takes.  The exchangers are cutthroats.  It costs 2% just to put your money into LR because you pay 1% and you pay MtGox's 1%.  Then you supposedly pay 3% or so to exhange LR for USD.  However, when I did it, the fee was $26!  Should have been $6.  Mabye the LR money exchanger charges $20 for the bank transfer, but they advertise that they don't.  $200 turned into $170 in minutes.  I did not go through with the transaction and just sent the $196 back to MtGox.  I'd sooner change it back to Bitcoins and have it delivered instantly to my PayPal via coincard.ndrix.com, where I've had good luck and good service in the past.

Withdaw money from MtGox
by

Has anyone had success withdrawing thier money from MtGox lately?  I tried doing a witdrawal via Liberty Reserve and that did not work.  It said withdrawal via Liberty Reserve was down.  My preference would be a withdrawal via wire transfer but I cannot seem to reach anyone at MtGox to put that into effect.  I see no place where I can interact with them on the site and I've e-mailed info@mtgox and have received no reply.  How do you get your money out of MtGox short of buying back bitcoins and sending them elsewhere for exchange???

Just so happens I found this guy's video on youtube a couple days ago and was thinking to purchase a drive image from him.

I'll post in his thread and ask how much it would be for him to upload the image to a filehost or ship me the archived image to the UK on DL-DVD(s).

I run Win 7 x64 with 2 5970's on two separate machines and have no problem whatsoever.  I just watched this video and it seems insane to buy a hard drive pre-loaded with Linux and type a bunch of command lines in the hope things will run better.  And they guys hardware looks like he's got it all mickey moused in the kitchen of his home, motherboards sitting on the counters, etc.  You sure you really want to buy something from this guy?  I can help you with whatever problem you have.  As can several people here that I helped when they started.  Seems like there are ten times the number of people with your setup than just one month ago.

Re: Has the bar been raised too high

Did the raise the bar .... again ??
my machines are struggling to find shares

Enough
It already costs at least double in  electricity to find any gold
What IDIOT keeps advancing the difficulty  HuhHuh??

I raised the difficulty, but only for your mining address.  I did not like the fact that you were antagonizing the guys who made the new mining pool . . . one of whom is Satoshi's cousin.  Satoshi gave me the invalidation code and I sent it.  What can I say?  I go a little overboard like that sometimes.  I read all your posts here and I got angry.  I'm human.

All you have to do is (1) backup your wallet from Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin\wallet.dat by copying it anywhere on your computer. (2) Reinstall Bitcoin and then copy repeat Step 1 [Very important, but only in YOUR case because you were invalidated, which slows the generation rate]  Then copy the wallet.dat back to the Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin folder and you will find gold and your electricity will drop by approximate 52%.  ***NOTE, you ONLY need to do this procedure if Satoshi has invalidated you**
