Today's Q&A was good and i liked their honesty but gave me a feeling they are yet to figure out the right mix of tech and solution & that's the reason they are going slow on hiring.
Believe me until people are convinced that development status is healthy and good progress is made new money won't come in.
Just by saying "we are 6 devs and working really hard" won't increase the price even half a cent. They should check how other teams comes out with constant development updates. Most teams have devs on slack/Telegram who provides updates atleast once a week.
If you are telling me that there is nothing to look forward before Q1 2018 then i am really worried. None of the other teams have working product but with constant updates they keep investors interested. And by constant updates i mean development updates, GitHub code (i understand you can't expose everything) , Hackathon's, new ideas bounties and NOT just by saying "we are hiring", "we had a big week & we will move to new office soon".....
you guys raised loads of money throw some on extremely talented & experienced devs rather than Leveraging your past connections. Organize Hackathon events across globe specially in critical markets like Singapore, China, India, ASEAN countries & of course Europe. Won't cost you much but will give you immense exposure and reach.
Also, community is not asking you to reveal the Solution design or Architecture but the strong message should go out that the product which Monetha is building is of high quality. PR should revolve around the product & development till product is out. Make high qualities shot videos on technological vision without revealing much. Watch how TenX made an excellent video on COMIT without revealing how they are doing it.
