Actually, I think that there are even more mistakes that can be made in crypto trading. For example, that it isn’t wise use trading platform before you managed to make a research about it. Each newbie can simply read a review about exchange and then decide to use it or not. Simple process that helps in avoiding frauds. Moreover, there are user-friendly exchanges with understandable interface, which might be very useful for newbies. Personally I began trading with cex (https://cex.io/), so it wasn’t very hard for me.

It might be better to choose user-friendly exchange.  CEX (https://cex.io/) might fit you, as it’s kinda convenient. Besides, you’ll need to use online wallet. I’m not quite sure that I can suggest you a way to use bitcoin as a payment method, but it certainly won’t work with a hardware wallet. So, you’ll need to keep your crypto online.
