Re: 2* KNC Titan Miners 800mh/s Mass Mining Project

We have 2 KNC Titan Miners preordered. KNC will start delivering in the next month or two. We expect that they will mine approximately 50 btc worth of coins in the first 3 months.

I think it says 3 months oh god i can read!It is an estimation nobody here trying to fool anyone!

hahaha nice post r00tdude but i wont save you

Do you think these units are ready? KNC is known to 'test' their miners as long as the profitability is there before delivering anything. What profitability can we expect after this stage?

Re: The Darkcoin scam

not a scam really, just not a fair reward system and certainly not anon

The instamine gives a huge advantage to the ones aware of the bug: Using huge farm at the right time.  This is a 2014 coin, these bugs were fixed months ago at this time. This is likely a bug set on purpose.

In what way is it unfair?

Giving free coins using the masternode implementation for some, and high expensive coins using the POW, generates an unfair coins  scattering process; This is a way to scam the miners, and investors, like a 'premined' situation. A lot of miner aware of the situation have dumped their coins... This is a very bad move.

If it is not anon, then there is no point for it to exists.

Better algorithms without the issue describes above existed already.

Isssues after issues we can state, this is a coin to avoid.

Mintpal does a bad move on this coin. The true and only Pandacoin must be saved.

The 'warning' flag locked the daemon, and this flag will be still there for some time; Some are mining on the wrong chain, and not all the daemons are updated. And mining is not so easy with the current situation: the daemon goes in 'safe mode'. Anyway transferring to an exchange is not safe for the time being.

I've synced again with the last repository. I see only one valid block chain. Anyway, there is an invalid block chain too, that generates the warning flag.

The coin code is fine

No. It's got an incorrectly implement KGW difficulty adjustment algorithm resulting in the network taking days (if at all) to find new blocks. This needs to be the first fix.

This is not an incorrect implementation of the KGW but we have a huge change  in the network hashrate sometimes. Anyway this is nothing that we have known before with feathercoin where the coins was really stick for weeks. Anyway the future coin update will definitely leave this issue behind.

Here we have a fair coin, fully mature, fully exempt of all the scams issues and features that we see all around this year. This coin is trustful and well done.

I'm waiting the new implementation. Any schedule?

I look forward too. I hope everything will be ready soon.

When we see what happened this week; or the thread around Bittrex; a lot of people prefer short term operations than thinking of the consequences of what they are doing.

Good coins have to last. Extremecoin will be a year old next month. This is just the beginning.

+1

There are so many new coins right now. Having a mature coin like extremecoin is a huge advantage!

I am back now after taking some time away to clear a few things up legally do to with a none Extremecoin issue, of which is now closed.

As for Extremecoin, of which I am very passionate about and by the fact that it is still listed on BTER.com there is still interest in this coin.

My plan for the next 1.6 Version update (The code stress tested on the testnet) will get the difficulty adjustment fixed and get the blockchain moving again.

The next stage will be to set a timetable for Extremecoin to change from a POW crypto to a POS based coin, as a 1 coin block reward under POW alone is not really worth it.

More updates to come in the following weeks as I start work on the coding side.

Thanks.

Extremecoin is already mature; anyway this change will be an important improvement.

Nowadays a lot of new coins are made every week, mostly have no future. A lot of people are mining and selling one, and the next day an other. This behavior has only one effect, that kills all alternates, even the good ones. We must have a long term vision; And support a good coin on the long run. Extremecoin worth the investment.

Damn, this troll is persistent. Back when I actually bothered to troll ( I was really envious of NXT, now I see the same pattern with others being envious of Dark!  ), I would stop after a while. Feels good to be on the receiving end of envy Smiley
Some people just don't have a life and need to spend their time trolling.

And some on this thread begin with a good concept and destroy everything, to get easy coins... And fill the thread with useless things... The things that your are calling 'trolling' are often more valuable than the direction that you want to take...

Supporters of DRK do not engage with Trolls. I had to skip to many posts.

In relation to everything that was posted:

1) discussions on master nodes and mining.....well it really doesn't matter after RC4. Trolling this you must be the dumbest of trolls that ever existed
2) forking..... We have Sporks now, If it forks we switch of enforcement, repair and do it again and again without any impact to DRK. Trolling on this subject shows we not only have the dumbests of trolls but also some that have trouble reading
3) masternodes (now close to 700 of them) is a quantum leap for crypto currency. Trolling this shows the trolls do not understand innovation even when it would hit them in the face

Ergo: stop feeding trolls by responding to dumb posts. You cannot reason with creatures that have an intellect lower than....well I have trouble finding a comparison cause it would be a insult to anything else in that comparison

Fix this coin - And update this pathetic implementation, or remove it. Bad concepts and a short-circuit of what gives a crypto a values is a very bad path...

It takes a lot of time and energy to troll this hard. Its fairly lame stuff, but seriously, if you thought Darkcoin was a waste of time, you wouldn't be wasting your time.

Time that is of limited supply on this one way journey we are all on. You give up time that you could otherwise be using to speak with friends, go out and sit in a park and enjoy fresh air, visit with family,  or help a charitable organisation.

You allocate this opportunity cost to your time for Darkcoin. You would not do it if you didn't think Darkcoin had a future. Thanks for pointing that out for all of us.

Just remember, what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. Muchas Gracias, for making this community even stronger.

It's a very simple task to make a few posts now and then.  Remember, I am a former supporter of DRK from the early days.  I even participated in the first darksend test.  There was even a time when I sent Evan a wallet so that he could troubleshoot some issues with darksend.  So I have been involved in this coin for some time.  After watching the progress and the lack of any coherent methodology I lost faith in the coin and the direction it was going to achieve anonymity.  Once it was decided that the method used to implement darksend required a clunky masternode network and a 20% tax on the miners I could no longer support this coin.  I made some comments that were critical but objective and was immediately attacked by your fellow darkcoin brethren.

I don't take shit from anyone and I don't run from a fight.  I never have and I never will.  One thing I do is never forget.  I'm not going anywhere so get used to me.

You are right they call 'troll' wise comments, and they don't want to fix the issues....
