Re: Blocksize needs to be increased now.

Blocksize increae is absolutely necessary now and it will be done immediately. There are occasions where we have seen unconfimed transactions for days and even a week or two. The strongly accept the debate over blocksize increase. However, we need more nodes and high performing machines to handle the increase in size.

RFC is not clear to me. There should be some clear definition for RFC to easily understand by non-technical people like me. It should have information with how it is implemented into bitcoin? What one can do with the RFC? What are the pros and cons of using it.

Re: Could the Current Block Size Sustain the next Bubble?
by

It will definitely sustain with no doubt at all. The bitcoin blockchain has the capability to sustain k's of transactions. As number of nodes are increasing day by day, whatever bubble may come, these nodes make the chain sustainable. Seems you're too much worried about bubble.

Re: What are the chances of an address collision? and what happens when it does?
by

Address collision won't occur. It will be a billionth of billionth of a billionth chance, that an address may collide. Further, the address is backed by public key and private keys. Those keys must be different even if an address collide with another. No need to worry or think about the collision problem. The ECD curve is much larger than the scope we're imagining.

Re: How do I send cash in mail?
by

Try other ways like bank transfer, Money Orders, gift cards or face to face meeting.

1. Sending Cash via mail is illegal.
2. It may not reach the destination.
3. Even if the receiver may scam you.

Be careful if you would like to do after you're aware of these things. Try with the money you afford to loose only.

Re: Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ?
by
rubygon

I had a fraction of a bitcoin that I bought at $330. I kept it to sell at a better price. But it went up to $500. I thought to have keep the coin until price goes to anew level. My guess turned wrong, as price reverses back to $300+ suddenly. Then I waited for 2 more weeks and sold when it hit $450. It is profit for me. But I failed to utilize the swing that I clearly got. I would have made 2 or 3 trades and tripled my money.

Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?
by
rubygon
on 14/01/2016, 17:37:58 UTC
Everyone of the bitcoin holders think the same way as you think. They wanted to hold bitcoins and sell for huge profits later. Some did buy at 1000+ bitcoins for $1. Most sold those coins when bitcoin surges heavily. Now bitcoin down by a large amount than it was in 2014. People might have lost a lot of dollars when they buy at $1000. So, it is hard to say you can take huge profits if you hold bitcoins. If you've bought it in very cheap, sell it if you feel it is highly profitable.

Re: What is your trading strategy?

Day trading bitcoins is not possible most of the days. However, if you read the charts quite well, you can predict the rise and fall of the bitcoin price much earlier  than that they happen. You can plan well for the day trading stragies when you have predicted the price range. Bitcoin is a high volatile instrument in trading scenario.

Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin?
by
rubygon
on 14/01/2016, 15:09:14 UTC
Whatever methods you would have discussed above. I consider myself to follow these things to grow my bitcoins.

1. Convert a small part of my paycheck to buy bitcoin.
2. Use that bitcoin to buy well analyzed low priced and profitable altcoin. Sell it when it doubles or trading in a decent profit.
3. Repeat the same steps whenever you receive paycheck.
4. If you're careful in trading with altcoins it will grow gradually.

It is better for me if you calculate weighted average price of bitcoin over exchanges.

That will help for trading.
