Patrike,

When using "Run mining process with Administrator privileges", srbminer-multi just shows a blank console. It still mines, but there's no visible output.

How does the autoswitch work? Using moneroocean.

When I download their fork of xmrig, it does a quick benchmark and saves my hashrates for each algo, then goes from there. How does JCE know which algo is most profitable on my hardware? Does it save hashrates over time?

I gave it a quick shot and it chose cnv8 which is less profitable on a dual core i5 than cryptolight.

In my mixed AMD/Nvidia rig. JCE GPU Miner is mining on the Nvidia cards as well as the AMD one.

Doesn't appear to be any way to specify amd or nvidia via command line. Adding -g 0 works for now in my case as the RX 480 is gpu 0.

Miners are all failing to connect to phiphipool.
pool doesn't work for everyone?

It doesn't seem to be MindMiner, PhiPhiPool isn't working on a couple other miners either. Just fails to connect to stratum on any algo/miner combo.

I'll try and figure it out at some point, for now I'm just leaving it disabled.

Getting "No available GPUs for mining. Please check your drivers and/or hardware."

Card is an RX 480 4GB. Running W10 ver 1809 and 18.10.1 drivers.

Any ideas?

Having some issues with sgminer-kl

Using the same command line, running it through mindminer or cmd it'll crash immediately, but if I use that cmd line in a bat with

set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100

it works fine.

When benchmarking wildrig on several algos, it never gets above 0h/s. Just shows new jobs being received from the pool but no shares being accepted. Tried different pools as well.

Re: [Forager] v18.09.1 - Multi-Pool profit switching miner (AMD/NVIDIA/CPU)
by

Is the profit calculation for yescrypt on nlpool accurate? In forager it's saying my i5 is making $4 a day. If I use another profit switcher it shows $0.14.

Also, with my RX 480

- JCE GPU Miner gets 0H/s but never fails, and forager keeps relaunching it and benchmarking indefinitely.
- lolminer also gets 0H/s and eventually closes - checked lolminer thread and said it's due to memory. I have a 4GB card and 12GB of swap configured. I think it worked in the past, maybe the latest driver breaks it?

EDIT: I have a rig with 2 Nvidia cards and 1 AMD card, if I use automatic grouping I do not have issues. When I split the gpus into groups, some miners seem to have issues. I'm using the RX 480 in one group with the index as 0, then the 2 Nvidia cards in another with index as 0,1

It looks like this is somehow preventing JCE/lolminer from working properly. I can't explain why, JCE shows my RX 480 as index 0, however lolminer does show it as index 2.

I've tried with only the AMD group enabled (no group for Nvidia)

The script seems to be freezing when benchmarking PhoenixMiner. On a couple rigs it'll stop refreshing and won't respond to keyboard shortcuts after about 1.5 minutes. The miner itself runs fine.

Newer jce miner out 0.31a

Also ccminer-tpruvot is having issues with lyra2z. It either fails with a memory error or I get a lot of CPU validation errors and a hashrate in the TH/s, I've disabled it on my systems for now.

EDIT: the lyra2z issue is only on my rigs with a 1050 Ti, could be the intensity. Not worth worrying about though since cool and cryptodredge are faster and work.

Having issues on a fresh install with 5.3, even with --gpu-platform 1 set as a command line option for sgminer, it's still trying to use my NVIDIA cards in an AMD/NVIDIA rig.
Can you try with --gpu-platform 2 as well? Sgminer can sometimes pick up built-in Intel devices as platform 0, and if you have both nVidia and AMD, you might have both 0, 1 and 2 as possible values.

Somehow it flip flopped and AMD is now platform 0. Not anything Awesome Miner did. It was a fresh install of Windows/drivers and for some reason sgminer is detecting it differently than in the past. I had to use platform 1 before.

Tried with 30/60/90

Oddly enough both 30 and 90 were more accurate, 60 was lower again (488 this time). I believe it's because it's refreshing the pools/miners at the 60 second mark before it wraps up the benchmark, throwing it off a little bit.

Not sure it's getting the right hashrate for JCE. My R7 1700 will show 508 H/s average in the JCE window, but the benchmark saved 444 H/s. Same with my i5, save 80 something, actual hashrate was 170.

EDIT: Just wanted to add that claymore and XMRig report fine.

Tried adding a separate nicehash wallet to the main config and it still uses the BTC one. My nicehash pool config has the wallet set to null, I changed that and it works but I get the warning message it’s moved to the main config.

I’ll get a neo hashrate for a 1070 in a bit.

Thanks for all the updates. Still the best multiminer I’ve used.

I had a couple thoughts for new miners:

JCE Miner for CPU Cryptonight gives me the highest hash rates.

Could use something better for LyraREv2. I hear Cryptodredge is good but lacks an API. There’s also Excavator 1.44 which will help with Neoscrypt as well.

Could be issues with any of those suggestions, so no big deal.

I had been noticing my ethash stats for phoenix miner had been going down on one system.

It has 2 Nvidia cards and 1 AMD card. Looks like when it's hashing on the 2 1050 Tis it's updating the stats with that rate, which throws off the stats/profit for the AMD card. Is it possible to have separate stats for the same miner but different GPU vendors?
