I think there is a date attached to that prediction, so we all will patiently for the said date to reach. He must eat his peepee if bitcoin fail to hit the speculated price. Mr McAfee has been making some serious statements on some ice project which has made some crypto enthusiasts to use his statements as a guide for their investments.

Re: Using bitcoin without internet
by

on 24/12/2018, 08:24:35 UTC
If this is possible then it will be one of the inventions of the decade. It means that bitcoin can be used everywhere in the world irrespective of internet and power supply. The adoption of bitcoin will increase because even the hinterland will now be aware of bitcoin and its usage. This will also increase the demand for bitcoin.

Re: Why is Bitcoin allowed to continue?
by

I think the world power have come to realize that bitcoin is the next big thing to happen to the financial world. They also have seen the good side of the bitcoin and blockchain technology which will help to curtail fraud and stealing from any financial system that deployed blockchain technology. They also know that blockchain will help them improve their tax collection effort.

Re: Many Countries Government trying to stop bitcoin, what reason .......
by
rudox
on 21/12/2018, 07:25:56 UTC
Many countries are against Bitcoin because they believe that bitcoin will be used to scam their citizens through ICO as Bitcoin is decentralized and can not be controlled by anybody. Some claim bitcoin is used to sponsor terror while others claimed bitcoin can easily assist in money laundry and drug peddling.
These are just mere speculations just to kill the bitcoin.

Re: Don't love any Alt coins.

How can you love any particular coin when you do not have any power over the coin. It is foolhardy to do that as you will eventually lose your money protecting your love. If you have compassion over any particular coin you will not be able to act when necessary to sell the coin according to market pulse but you will be keeping the coin hoping based on analysis which you are never part of that it will increase in value. But the opposite will be the case as the price will crash.

Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin
by

on 20/12/2018, 09:34:22 UTC
During the same period, I had about $9000 in my portfolio and was also deceived by the same notion of hitting $25k  any moment from that time. You were even at an advantage because you did some withdrawal but in my own case, I did not withdraw anything till the whole portfolio was depleted to about 30% of the initial value. I have learnt the hard way and will do better given the opportunity.

I read somewhere that Brkkt  ETF will come on stream by the first quarter of 2019. SEC has agreed to accept Bkkt ETF because they have almost complied with SEC standards to be accepted and more also they are USA based company.2019 will be great for the cryptocurrency market as more ETFs are springing up in other countries.

Re: The new era of BITCOIN is here
by
rudox
on 18/12/2018, 07:40:32 UTC
Absolutely Bitcoin is still the leading cryptocurrency coin in the market. It is also true that the market is bleeding red now as the market outlook has been bearish most part of the year 2018. This situation in the market will not persist as there will soon be a reversal and the market price will change from being bearish to bullish and the market will be alive again.

Re: Are you making money in this bear market?
by
rudox
on 17/12/2018, 07:56:19 UTC
You can make money even in the bearish market if you have extra money which you can afford to lose, bearing in mind that you are also holding a position in the market which is in red. You can only open up another trade if you can by using another fund from elswhere but whereby you can not raise such fund then you can not trade.

Re: Do not respond to FUD threads!

Fud creators and spreaders are the eternal enemies of cryptocurrency enthusiast. Ignoring them should be the best treatment to the maladies they are spreading. This will help to stablize the market as holders will not be compel by their speculation to sell of in a hurry or out of fear and made silly mistakes of losing their money. You can also do your own research than following them blindly.

There is nothing more to add or advice than cut your losses now. The price is heading to $2500 as the next support and when that happens you can now know how much money that has left your portfolio. The speed at which the price is falling is alarming and this is not even connected with any news sentiments at all. We have had some news that supposes to lift the market yet it did not help to change the course of the price movement.

Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin

Same with me. All my money is in Bitcoin and the price has gone crazily down that is worth nothing anymore. It is going to be a red Christmas just as the market is bleeding red. I got in at $8K and look where we are today as more than 50% of my portfolio is gone. Holding all this while hoping that the price will soon turn and the bulls to take over.

Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin?
by

Unless you are an infant by experience in cryptocurrency trading that is when you will believe that it is all over for bitcoin. But if you have some reasonable time with bitcoin trading you will understand the nature of cryptocurrency trading and market price interplay will always determine the crypto price. It is not what anybody should be peddling rumor that it is over for bitcoin.

Yes, crypto market is always like that because of its speculative nature. The movement is either up or down and will not be moving in one direction forever but normally will reverse its movement according to the market sentiments. It is noteworthy here that nobody should worry or do something ugly because of the market price because over time it will come around. Hold if you can hold or sell off and wait for another trading opportunity.

Re: Is it a good idea to buy some bitcoin now?
by
rudox
on 13/12/2018, 08:25:22 UTC
The market situation is unpredictable these days. It is so a serious matter to decide and advice anyone on trading now. The price of bitcoin at present $3400 may not be the bottom based on what has been happening for the past 3 weeks so I do not think we have seen the bottom yet so the price will still slide down more. If you ask me I will suggest you hold your money till the first quarter of next year.

Re: Many Countries Government trying to stop bitcoin, what reason .......
by
rudox
on 12/12/2018, 09:20:06 UTC
The reason some of them gave was that bitcoin is decentralized and because of being centralized it cannot be controlled and users will not pay taxes to the government. Others said because bitcoin is anonymous it can be used for nefarious activities like money laundering, sponsorship of terror and drug peddling. Since bitcoin is not centralized all these activities can be carried out without being curbed or managed.
