So the majority of you are just sucking up when you seed USD value lowering and just focusing on making sure the BTC value is consitently rising?

so you guys trading with btc - do you not trade into USDT when all is going down? So is it not better to focus on the stable coin as base currency which will of course increase your BTC over time?

and how about today when all seems a bit uncertain / sideways?

further to my post - I think some of you will ask my goal more BTC or USD?

To be honest, - BOTH!

But if I am always trading against USDT would that not also naturally increase BTC?

Maybe someone expierenced or Ben can help me with this - I am having real trouble grasping whether to be trading against BTC or USDT? Many seem to say BTC, but I have been in situations when trading alt coins against BTC and they are 4 % up yet I have lost money because both were down against USD.



Is there any simple rule of thumb as to when to trade against USD and BTC?


Maybe always trade against USD unless BTC is in Bull Mode /?

So my question is why are people bothering to buy alt coins that currently are more energy efficient and faster transactions if Bitcoin will eventually implement these ideas and remain the true currency?

Coins like ZCOIN with their minting , and POS coins that dont rely on mining. If bitcoin will eventually implement the best ideas why are people buying? Does their value go up if bitcoin integrates their tech?

So Bitcoin has issues like speed of transactions and energy consumption.

As there is no 'team' behind bitcoin, how is it going to develop and make sure it is always competing with newer coins?

There are alot of coins resolving these issues and people are buying into them, but why if bitcoin is considered No. 1 ? Is there a possiblity the  new coins could be linked with bitcoin or that  future bitcoin 'integrates with them and  their technology which therfore increases their prices?

Trying to understand this universe!

I think a combination of buying USDT in flat / bear markets and buying BTC whenever its rising is the best way to go.

As many of you have said accumulating more BTC is the goal, its just hard to shake of the need to see the value in FIAT.

Binance trade altcoins into btc and vice versa which has confused me because....

If for example I am trading DASH which is rising in price as BTC falls, is any profit i make on Dash rising balanced out by BTC falling as ultimately it will need to get traded back into BTC?

Im new to trading, there are so many coins and I keep reading about bitcoin being unsustainable regarding energy it uses to mine and there are coins coming out with faster transactions time.

If this is the case, Why is bitcoin considered the main one and its price not crashing from the threat of these other more equipped coins? Is bitcoin still able to develop and evolve and become energy sustainable and compete with faster transaction times if it is decentralized? No one is able to improve it?
