Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ...

I think from the 13 & 14 days until the ICO ends, the system should not allow people to sell back their TOKENs to avoid arbitrage tactics that may cause messy situations and accusations.

I'm curious what you think is wrong with arbitrage on TOKEN?  For example, the price of TOKEN to BTC is guaranteed to increase for 14 days, so some people may buy TOKEN early and then sell a few days later at a very small profit margin.  If the market is willing to pay the price that these flippers are offering, how is this bad?

In general, I see nothing wrong with some people trying to make money by capitalizing on the demand of TOKEN.  However, if someone sees a valid reason to put a stop to this, I'd like to hear it.

I was curious if we could get any more information about off-the-chain anonymous transactions?

If you would want to send a transaction off-the-chain, wouldn't that mean that you'd already have to have the coins in some storage held by a third party?  That is, if I want to send 100 coins from my wallet to account X off-the-chain, then the public ledger would still have me as the owner of those 100 coins, and therefore, I could doublespend my coins.  However, if my coins were not held in my wallet, but in a third party storage, then they would be accountable for validating this transaction without the blockchain.

Is the above thinking correct or is there another way to allow off-the-chain transactions?

Had a chance to install ShadowGo today on my phone.  Took a few hours to download the blockchain, but I finally synced up!  I just sent a small transaction to my phone and it showed up in about 2 minutes:

http://i.imgur.com/Y9CddkC.png

Want to wait until I see staking working on the phone, but as of now I am highly impressed.  It has been an easy and smooth process.

As far as backing up goes, should I just copy the wallet.dat from the .shadowcoin folder on my phone to somewhere safe?

Thanks again rynomster, you are doing great work.

I did a little research to see if I could discover if the dev had dumped the premine yet.

Start from the premine block: http://cryptobe.com/block/000001f3e3acf6a4f0c863c86580e3a9e3dbdef403ce67d0489e54a23d832bc1

If you follow the transactions, you eventually come to a wallet that had 37299.99989 MWC: http://cryptobe.com/address/MJoJSzeuLg6HiQRepu4qjc8Mztvv5fnXoF

This seems to match up with what the developer said here:

I'm not dumping anything. I am still holding 37299.99989 MWC that are left from 50k premine after I payed bounties and donated to the faucet. I will use remaining coins for more bounties and for the tipbot

Now continue following this trail and you hit the following wallet: http://cryptobe.com/address/MB98pYz4beKh3yL4EyP4TZhUwBTkud1y6W

It appears the dev still has a wallet with 34999.99987 MWC left from the premine.

This does not prove anything, but it sure is a good sign.  I hope the dev responds so we can stop speculating.

i mined 70 block of 1 Korecoin with POS but are all immature.

If you find a block that does not get confirmed, it is most likely an orphaned block.  An orphaned block is just when 2 (or more) people find the same block, the network only accepts only one block and the others are orphaned.  So someone else found the same block as you and it got accepted by the network before yours.  This seems to be very common right now due to the low PoW difficulty.

Re: [ANN][MAMM] MammothCoin|First X13 Coin with SuperBlocks|Anon Wallet Coming Soon!
by

or you can just end the pow and switch to pos now?
We have about 2-3 days to see second halve. (from 100 to 50 MAMM) After this we have very few coins left for miners.

Most of PoW already distributed. 4,746,043 MAMM On the other hand If enough community desire happen we may consider on this.

I wouldn't worry about the PoW, but the PoS seems ridiculously high.

Quote
Variable PoS payout:
 - 1st year:  50%
 - 2nd year: 25%
 - 3rd year: 13%
 - 4th year: 7%
 - 5th year: 4%
and subsequent years: 2%

The first year is 50%, so depending on the number of people staking, this could cause a very high inflation in the first year.  I'd like to know what the community thinks, but personally, I'd just make the coin a flat 2% PoS.

As a holder of Korecoins I am delighted to see this takeover happen.  However, let us proceed with caution.  I advise that we set up bounties for all the tasks that have yet to be done.  Obviously the current developer deserves donations for what they have done so far, but let us start to create incentive for the future by collecting bounties in trusted storage.

We should create a donation wallet that is held in escrow, delivered out when bounty tasks are completed.  The community can decide on a trusted bitcointalk member that should hold the bounties.

If we as a community invest back into the coin's development by donating a large portion of the Korecoins in circulation (1 to 2%), we can create long term value for Kore.  The community will feel secure since our donations are held in escrow and investors will see that we are creating long term development for the coin.

Again, I do not mean to trivialize what Eurbids has done, I am really grateful, but let us learn from our mistakes and move forward with more caution.

DRM/BTC @ sharexcoin: 24H VOLUME 8.62 BTC: https://sharexcoin.com/market/DRM_BTC

Get this info to bittrex, this coin should be instantly added.

is dream still cheap or overpriced atm?

3.5 million coins total PoW @ 0.00005000 = $78,750 valuation.  This is a PoS coin with distribution through X11 PoW, smooth launch, active dev, and zerocoin implementation, so I'd have to say it's still a great price.  The coin is still new, so it's always a risk, but the future is looking bright.

Hello Silkroad,

So sorry to bother you, but I mistakenly sent you .25 BTC from my one of my wallet to your NXTL account.  The reason I did this is because you were the last person I sent money to from my personal wallet (to join NXTL), and instead of looking at my personal wallets Request tab, I looked at the send tab   Sad

I'd like to get this fixed, so whatever I can do to prove to you that is my account, I will.  Please PM me.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sent back to you  https://blockchain.info/tx/a6e5e3e2bf8124af589bc44f2744f5e8b1263ea3492e734b3cc31c7d2f0b386b

Thank you so much!  Glad to be a stake holder in NXTL!

I don't know exactly what the plan for NEM distribution is, but it might be interesting to give people the option to either receive it as one transaction, or receive it over time in smaller transactions.  If we encourage that later option, then I believe it would be better for the future of the coin, since it will mean there will be less to dump on the market on day 1.

For example, you could decide that you are going to give every stakeholder 5000 coins on opening day, or 450 coins a month for 1 year.  Taking the second option would not only show that you support NEM for the long-term, but you'd also get an 8% bonus.

Guys I can guarantee this coin will not be pumped and dumped like other coins. Why you ask? Early mining was pretty difficult and there wasn't a huge instamine that happens with every new coin. Also in addition to seattletu holding 5% of coin supply long-term I know that myself personally and everyone on our Fluttercoin Development Team combined holds another 15%-20% of total supply and that will not be getting sold anytime soon. So go ahead and sell early if you feel it's necessary... Your hurting nobody but your own bottom line  Wink

I was hoping to hit the 1 million mark, but the difficulty shot up way too early!  Put me in the list of supporters that are in this coin for the long term, I'll be holding my 850,000.

http://flutterchain.us/
I made a fluttercoin explorer with current USD price and market cap.
Will be updating it periodically. Should have address lookup and such very soon.
We are actually already #70 if we get added to coinmarketcap if my calulations are correct.

60 million coins at current BTer price of 0.00000373 and a BTC price of $ 613.31 puts us around $140,000.  That would be somewhere between 70 and 80, which I think is impressive for a coin that is under the radar.

To get it posted on coin https://coinmarketcap.com/, we need:

Quote
Criteria for a coin to be added:
Must be a cryptocurrency
Must be traded on a public exchange that is older than 30 days and with an API available.
Must have a public URL that displays the total supply (total mined so far).

So maybe if we add the total supply to explorer.fluttercoin.us/block_crawler.php, then we'd meet the criteria.

ALL: I believe I have found a few issues - thank you for sending me the error log!  The block IS being solved.  As I said before there was no way to tell this without the error logs.

I am working on a fix (several), we will need to fork within 24 hours of its release and I will need to coordinate with all pools and BTER.

Few things I need to work out as to the exact cause, but I should have a fix tonight, with a work by tomorrow later in the day/night (central time).

Awesome, thanks for the hard work thekidcoin.
