Today I received the first payment after purchasing 2nd Gen, which has not changed much that put the calculator only with qasic, Has anyone noticed any difference on 2nd Gen?

The 2nd gens are paying 12 shares pre 1 2nd gen share.   So the payout is pretty small.

Really makes me wonder if its worth accumulating 2nd gen share now or wait til January.

There's a very good chance that Chris is currently selling the 2nd Gen shares at a discounted price and come January when he puts them into action he'l be selling them at a higher price.

That's my thought anyway. The fact we are getting anything at all from them currently is a bonus as they are classed as a pre-sale.

That NeoScrypt speed on the gen 2 is very profitable tough, am I right? I think I'll buy one.

It only reserves the right to mine those algos when the chips are running early next year. For now those 2nd gen shares will mine LTC for you

It is a pre-order so to speak, but Chris is giving you some returns from it until then.

I would imagine the pre-order sales are helping to finance the fabrication etc

I've been looking at ltcgear for a while now, but they're always sold out of shares. It looks like there is a active secondary marketplace though with people trading shares. I'll have to give them a try at some point, the returns look good. Do they ever get back in stock on the site?

Hi again,

Well, for those who missed our Black Friday, here’s a second opportunity; The Cyber Monday!

What stock is left got recounted, we will restock at around 22:00 UTC, then, from time to time, discount coupon codes will be released.

As explained before, each coupon can be used just several times, so, it should be used as soon as you spot it. An error message will be returned if a coupon reached it’s usage limit – for those which inquired about this error message; it is normal behavior once a coupon expired.

The exact hour when event will end, Monday, will be announced around start time.

Cheers,
Chris

Can anyone share a content of the .bat file? I'm looking for lightning's specific options (nchips, clock...).

Running cgminer on old laptop
My lightningx6 batch file as follows...

cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://eu.clevermining.com:3333 -u btc address -p d=1024 -s //./COM5 --chips-count 256 --ltc-clk 258 --nocheck-golden
@pause

Been using this setup since August. Clock of 258 worked best for me.

Average over 3-4 months of running : 42.5Mh/s, 7% HW and 0.2% Rej. Pulling 1100W (yes 1100W !)

Hope it helps  Smiley

Could also have something to do with the Titan's warming up and Bitmain mining the shit out of stress testing their L1's before shipping them.

Same could be said for Alpha T looking at their latest dev update.

Sorry, off topic i know

why no payment today ?Dose anyone receive BTC from clevermining?

Judging from the last two weeks, it seems they switched to paying out on Monday.

Is this true? I've seen no official announcement

Is there a PSU on ebay which has four 6 pin PCI-E connections?

I could not find one

I've got the same question.

Thx

I've been using one of these on my lightning x6. It comes with the necessary VGA (pci-e) cables.

Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now!
by

You were right  s1gs3gv. The big announcement is shares in the company.

http://www.coindesk.com/alpha-technology-blames-paypal-dispute-bitcoin-asic-delivery-delay/

Quote
“Any future mining operations and any future batches we do, our customers will gain a share of the profits via dividend distributions,” said Akram, promising further details of the deal “soon”.

Smells pretty desperate if you ask me. Who the hell is going to buy Alpha's overpriced junk in September. They will have to massively increase hashrate and cut the price. A dividend share of £0= £0

Was just about to post this also.

I find the previous quote even more surprising, blaming everything on PayPal

“The delay is purely down to PayPal,” he said, adding that the company has decided to offer its first-batch customers shares in Alpha Technology, in addition to their miner

Re: [ANN] sgminer with X11/X13/Nist5/Quark/Anime kernels compatible 14.6 amd drivers
by

on 22/06/2014, 13:16:42 UTC
Thanks to all concerned (too many posts to quote).

Took my MSI R9 290 from 3.7 to 4.99Mh/s on x11.

Used the method of extracting (but not installing) the 14.6 AMD package, copying the 8 required files from the AMD/AMD-Catalyst-14.6-Beta-V1.0-Windows-May23/Packages/Drivers/Display/WB6A-INF/B172153 folder and putting them in the sgminer folder with any previous bins removed before starting up the miner.

Getting WU 0.069 and 0.7% rejects with 1010 core, 1300 mem, intensity 20 on trademybit pool.  Gonna let it run for a few hours before tweaking some more.

Cheers again  Smiley

Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast

I would like to know if anyone else is running 290's, and if so, what is your hash?

I can only get around 13Mh out of each card despite the config/cgminer version. I do notice that cgminer will not show/set memclock running any higher than 150(yes 150). However, coreclock is competently editable.

Anyone care to share some info?

I have an MSI TF 290 and I used the config. from page 195.

Whilst I couldn't achieve the 26 or 24Mh/s quoted there I am getting 20.5Mh/s. I had to reduce intensity to 7, increase power tune to +20 and reduce core to 1090 to stop it crashing overnight. Like you my memory clock stays at 150 regardless of it's setting. Oh, and I added +31mv using MSI AB.

I get the odd spike from stratum connection interruptions but I get that from all my rigs.

Can anybody tell me how to deposit bitcoin into https://poloniex.com/ ?

It's as if there isn't an option for it..

It just talks about NXT depositing... what's with the NXT thing ??

Just send them to the deposit address given on the top left hand side of the 'Balances' page, below BTC 0.0. Everyone has a unique deposit address. You may want to test it with a small amount first, I did
