If you are going to hold for long term, effect of events like halving is also next to nothing.

Those who are impatient will not be able enjoy the real benefit of bitcoin investing. They will take out the rewards on small profit only.  Like, from so many people I who started investing in 2012, even a single person is not able to hold those bitcoins purchased at that time. It is impossible to be that much patient for all.

In last one week, coins like pepe rose by 400% or more. There were other meme coins like dogecoin and shiba inu also growing fast. Lot of bitcoin users would now feel tempted to move their funds to these meme coins for higher profit. At such, do you think that any meme coin has the capacity to challenge bitcoin dominance ?

Re: (Any Guesses?) Are there many real (unpaid) people still posting here at BCT?

Following type of users are posting here without the need to get paid

1) There are users coming through google search based on any crypto related problem they are facing and for which a thread has been opened here. They will share their experience also in the same thread. Since, this forum ranks very high in search engines, this constitutes a good percentage of overall members here.

2) Same way there are many members here just to improve their knowledge about crypto and to know the recent news related to crypto. That can be a bigger incentive for them than paid signature campaigns especially if they are investing big amounts in crypto.

No forum can compete or even come close to what Bitcointalk has achieved when you talk of forums about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency

Why do you feel so ? There can be number of factors causing another forum to become more popular than this forum. Like suppose, the current forum owner makes some bad decisions because of which good members here migrate to another forum, this can be one reason. It does not matter if you are the first forum related to crypto. What matters is who is solving the problem of users in a better way.

No forum can compete or even come close to what Bitcointalk has achieved when you talk of forums about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, Bitcointalk is what Google and all into Bitcoin are recommending, all forums exist because of their niche, Bitcointalk and all the other forums are popular because of the popularity of Bitcointalk.

Before Google, there was dominance of Yahoo. They also never imagined that one day Google will be become bigger than them. So, never underestimate your competitor.
