STAKE.COM is a scam exchange!

My story is that I made a deposit today using TRX and it should only take 1 confirmation for the TRX deposit to credit into the account. However, I never receive anything from this cheating scam online casino. One of their support MILOS told me that they could not credit because they only accept TRX which are not coming from smart contracts. WTF Stake.com? Now my funds are lost because you guys cannot accept a TRX coming from a smart contract? WTF! WTF! WTF! STAKE.com is literally stealing peoples money. I ask for courtesy because the amount is very little compared to what they are earning but they dont credit at all. WTH.

Here is my deposit transaction to Stake: https://tronscan.org/#/transaction/474bc108c1eada987e13e19cd4c28bf8e409745df6179f3ca72d950885c6ab2d

Looks good and believe to be one of the famous crypto next year. the price keep growing up
That's a good news for this coin, will be keeping eye on this if there's a growing development in the upcoming months. If about popularity, I think it will have to fluctuate more often to be recognized on biggest exchanges. More importantly, it needs more order volumes in order to acquire sustainable trading so it could compete in the market.
you qouted a verry old post and its was in the year 2016 . if this was trully a good coin the coins should be on the exchanges now but it seems the coins isnt based on the comments above where they talk about voting for listing the coin

but why not ? if the team just wake up and try again for the best of this coin , well thats an interesting journey and people are gonna be curious for this comeback .

They are still pushing it even if no one bats an eye. They even compared it to Bitcoin. But I checked the info about VTA on Coingecko and it does not look good. Only $2 USD total trade volume within 24 hours.

I dont think with the new listing at Satoexchange will make any progress because Satoexchange have a lot of useless coins and tokens listed there.

Any interest in the boards for em? I just found my old collection, mix of japanese and english cards, a lot of holo´s. Mostly between from between 2000 and 2004.
Will make an auction if enough interest.

Greets Hank

I think it would be best if you include pictures and post it on online stores like ebay or amazon. I know you must have thought of this already but I want you to push forward on doing it there as you will get more audience compared here.

Just arranged them all where you can take a picture of them in one shot and make sure to adjust the image quality to maximum so your interested buyers can just zoom-in.

Also try joining Pokemon Trading Card groups. There's a lot of them especially in Facebook where you might easily sold it.

Re: French police arrest terror financing ring that used Bitcoin coupons
by
ryap12
on 01/10/2020, 14:13:52 UTC
The terror financing ring reportedly bought cryptocurrency coupons in licensed tobacco shops across France.

A large goup of accomplaces allegedly financing a jihadist network in Syria have been arrested after a sting operation by French police — despite choosing cryptocurrency coupons in an attempt to cover their tracks.

In a statement, police said that "constant surveillance of these networks prompted terrorist organisations to seek more opacity by using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin," as reported on Sept. 30.

Since 2019, the 29 accomplices have allegedly been supporting the operations of an  Al-Qaeda affiliate terror organization, called “Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham.”

The network’s architects are reportedly two French jihadists in their mid-20s, who are both thought to be in northeastern Syria at present. Both were sentenced to 10 years in prison in absentia in 2016.

The 29 members of the network were busted after being caught purchasing cryptocurrency coupons worth between 10 and 150 euros each ($12–$176) on multiple occasions in recent months from tobacco outlets across France.

Good thing the police managed to caught them. For sure they are going to use those funds for something "not good" once they meet their goals. I really hate these terrorists and I hope the French Police or other enforcers gets to track down all these mad people. Now I want them to buy all the BTC they got from the suspects for donuts, they deserve it!

Re: Brazil largest investment bank just created a 100% cryptocurrency backed fund
by

on 01/10/2020, 14:07:23 UTC
When regulated institutions like this are investing money in cryptocurrency I do wonder what’s their main plan, and they are aware of the fact Bitcoin is volatile, so what plans do they have in a situation whereby the market starts falling? They are going to be losing of course, so what are they going to do about it, steady hold their investment stored in crypto no matter what?

Or are they going to be the type that are trying to just benefit only when the market starts experiencing huge growth? For sure that’s the main target of everything.

I think they made it that way for long-term investors only. As you see only "rich" people or those who can afford have been accepted. They must have foreseen for bitcoin price to keep on growing. Assigning people to trade their invested funds would be a bit risky for being stolen or getting negative profit. Hope they will open it for the entire world or that other banks would imitate them. That will definitely bring more people into crypto.

Re: The Bitcoin Family
by

A very positive article on how you can change your life. It's a good thing they didn't buy Bitcoin for $ 20,000 Grin

The Bitcoin Family: Still on the Road—After Three Years!
https://decrypt.co/43215/the-bitcoin-family-still-on-the-road-after-three-years

"Taihuttu trades every day. He’s not devoted to Bitcoin alone, but it still makes up around 65% of his holdings. He also consistently holds Ethereum and Litecoin, and recently invested in DOT, the cryptocurrency of the Polkadot blockchain. Others include COTI, CTSI, EGLD, BEAM, LEND, COV, and KAI. "

What a very inspirational family despite of them buying BTC on mid-ranged price. Putting there entire trust to Bitcoin when they sold everything must felt living in hell for BTC price going up and down. I cant imagine that to my family putting everything into Bitcoin. They must be really bless to be able to travel, trade and enjoy despite the pandemic on-going right now. They also put a good image on Bitcoin as they share this around the world. I wonder if he used referral links to whomever Mr. Taihuttu invites. He must have not only earned from trading but from referrals if he did.

Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate
by
ryap12
on 01/10/2020, 12:59:42 UTC
In my view real estate remains a fundamentally good investment choice. I mean we will always need a place to rest our body. You can't say the same about bitcoin or gold.
I am least likely to invest in Gold from the three assets talked about in this thread. Its usecases are rather small and it is a precious metal that could be soon produced in laboratories or found in the outer space. I'm not willing to place a significant amount of my net worth in a metal just because it has proven itself to be a reliable hedge.

Ha! Totally agree with you ChrisPop. There will be a time that we get to discover gold from outer space. I even think now that there are people who may have secretly getting gold from outer space and selling it to the world or they may have gotten a huge deposit of gold within the earth's underground. Unlike having Bitcoin, everything is there on the e-ledger and that the price of Bitcoin will definitely continue to grow compared to gold where it seems to grow very slowly. Real estate is also great but there might be a time we all will leave earth or what if there is war? What will happen to having those fancy homes and assets if they can be destroyed by nukes and blasts. Millennials picking Bitcoin I think is that they are on the right track.

Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO
by

on 01/10/2020, 12:43:38 UTC
I use a lot of methods to research ico, before researching further I will look at the Whitepaper first, then I will check the team on the project, then partnerships and advisors. if all are legit, I will check how active the social media and telegram groups are.

Good filtering there I also use the same method. I even try checking the smart contract and its creator and see and identify if the owner is legit or just some airdrop guy. Most fake projects immediately sells their tokens or coins offering airdrops for ETHs. Some tries to fool by saying they are already listed but on decentralized exchanges which does not need any requirements and verification. I do participate in airdrops and mostly got disappointed since most are just there for decorations.

Re: Uniswap $2 billion in total value locked
by
ryap12
on 01/10/2020, 12:24:31 UTC
It is becoming very interesting what the centralized sites will have in the near future. After all, Uniswap is already beginning to overtake some of the largest platforms in terms of trading volume, which means that Binance may soon start having problems, despite the fact that they are trying in every possible way to add new DeFi projects to their platform.

Uniswap V3 to be released in Q1 2021

The total amount of blocked funds in Uniswap V2:
🔸 $ 11,029,530 - May 20, 2020
🔸 $ 37,512,302 - June 20, 2020
🔸 $ 86,912,475 - 20 July 2020
🔸 $ 298,284,850 - 20 August 2020
🔸 $ 2.16 billion already on September 20, 2020.

https://t.me/Pro_Blockchain/9723

What a crazy increase from 1 month to another month. By end of year will it be possible to reach in trillion dollars? And for sure there are funds locked there that were stolen by scammers and hackers. I also wonder how many whales have participated in locking their assets? These questions are always in my mind whenever I see the amounts locked in Uniswap.

Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket
by
ryap12
on 01/10/2020, 12:15:26 UTC
Just a feeling I have. It's all credit cards and dollars and shit.

Yeah, I'd rather spend the shit money and save my bitcoins, but I can't wait until I can use real money everywhere. I'd rather get paid in bitcoin and spend bitcoin.

From my view, I think that is too costly like buying something for a single dollar. You will be paying transaction fees similar to what you are buying. Unless if you buy cars and gadgets and anything above a hundred dollars that would make sense. Unless if they change how transaction fees work on the bitcoin network. I dont trust paying bitcoin also using centralized wallets because in most cases there will be like system maintenance and updates which prevents you from using your funds. What if you are in a restaurant and is about to pay the bill but because you dont have the sh*t money because you are too confident on bitcoin and you are unable to pay because of that update. There are always pros and cons between currencies.

Re: My take on DeFi bounties
by
ryap12
on 30/09/2020, 15:02:42 UTC
Almost 99 percent of DeFi projects in bounty section are scam, you can say I have no prove but this is just my normal thought.

1. Why are almost all bounties released today DeFi projects?
2. Most of these projects have no information about team
( They are complete anonymous)
3. Majority of them are rushed, you can judge merely looking at website domain and designs
4. There are some that based on Uniswap wannabes

You can't compare these projects with real DeFi projects like introduced bounties like Oikos, Lattice, DIA, and few others, my advice is to be extremely picky after doing research

Can't agree more. It is very tempting though to participate in all these DeFi-related bounties as we cannot identify which of these project will last long. Even in airdrops right now, like 95% of the airdrop offers are related to DeFi. A lot of my friends have been participating hoping to get some nice profit. I on the other hand have become too lazy to participate airdrops.

Re: BitCoin and bitcoin high transaction fees
by
ryap12
on 30/09/2020, 11:58:06 UTC
I don't understand , I live in india and here we can use UPI like google pay and phonepay to easily pay money within seconds and a touch and no extra cost or transaction fees is taken . But when i try to ay with bitcoin like 1000 ruppes i have to pay around 120 ruppes in fees to get the transaction done in 10minutes .  So for a order of 1000 i have to pay 1120 ruppes and also wait for 10minutes for the transaction to be done .

So why is bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency more reliable or disruptive if it cant even help me in paying a simple small amount . Can somebody lease elaborate what i am missing here . Thanks in advance

You do have a point there but note that your way of transaction is very limited compared to Bitcoin. Also, bitcoin transactions can help the identity of the sender to be hidden. Bitcoin is commonly used in the Dark/Deep web to make illegal transactions. I think if you use Google Pay or PhonePay in the Dark/Deep Web will just expose your identity and may lead you into prison. Bitcoin also is great for making huge transactions like thousands or millions of dollars. Google Pay or PhonePay will probably put a hold on your transaction. There are so many differences between them and both have pros and cons. It is up to you though on how you use your digital funds and where you are going to use them for.
